+ good price + comfortable room (refrigerator, teapot, tea, coffee, bath, hairdryer) + clean + good wi-fi + flowers on the windowsill outdoor + many shops and shopping centers around hotel + sightseeing places (5 min): Dancing house, Memorial to the Victims of Communism, Petrins hill, Toy Czech Railways (Království železnic) + Praha-Smíchov railway station (3 tram stays) to go to Karlstein + 1 hour from airport (bus #100 to metrostation Zlicin (B), metro to Andel, 500m by walk)
- breakfast isn't rich (no hot meals, except eggs, pure desserts)
Friendly staff wonderful breakfast great value
Very good location. Clean room. Kettle, tea and coffee was in the room. The breakfast was very good. The staff were extremely helpful (at the reception), good breakfast.
Old towels, and the last two days the maid didn't change towels.
This was an excellent value stay, in a good location far from the madding crowds. Wonderful staff.
close to metro station very tasty breakfast safety parking comfortable beds
Location near center, nice room, good bed, clean
simple breakfast, small lift, for breakfast only walking downstairs with a baby stroller
The decor of my room was appealing; the size and lighting was aesthetic and the view from my window with it's flower box was enchanting. Excellent location that was not too touristy and gave me a sense of living amongst the locals.
Very good location. Clean room. Kettle, tea and coffee was in the room. The breakfast was very good.
The staff were extremely helpful, good breakfast & strong WI-FI included in price. There were supermarkets, restaurants & transport all super close to hotel so it was convenient. We utilised the secure parking which was well worth it.
the bed was very firm & the shower was a hose style that was attached to the wall at hip height so had to hold it to shower top half of body - although weird the pressure & temperature were good!
Excellent location for our needs, very near tram stop. Very good and fairly extensive breakfast included. Comfortable beds in a twin room for two people.
The room was very small but we knew that when we rented it. The elevator was very small also but we were glad to have it since we were on the 4th floor!
away from busy center. Yet very close (walking distance) wired wifi. Finally a decent wifi price
This hotel has good location - very close to Mala Strana, which could be reachable in 10 minutes by foot or via tram 12/20 (2-3 stops). The location is also good if you want to reach the city center via tram 9, for example. The tram station is just across the corner. The metro is also very close. The reception personnel was very kind and always smiling. I appreciated very much I was able to do the check-in at 10:45 AM instead of waiting for 02:00 PM to have the room ready. The towels were changed every day - this is another aspect which I highly appreciate. The breakfast was simple, but good. Overall I find the price - quality ratio to be an excellent one for a 3* hotel, close to the city center, which is pretty much perfect for a city break.
Even though the room was nice and the towels were changed every day, the room had plenty of spots with dust: the room door - on the inside, on the plastic advertise holder, on the furniture, etc. The double bed was compound of two mattress joined together.
The Arbes hotel has a good localization (within a walking distance to the main attractions of Prague), rooms are big and very comfortable and the personnel is helpful. I recommend this place.
The nearby street can be noisy at night (trams and ambulances).
comparing to price very good hotel. hotel room is quite large. bathroom and toilet is clean.
Breakfeast is weak, espically for muslim.
In generally wonderful place for this price. Nice stuff, nice room and good location
Wi fi didnt work all period our staying(
Location is very good, just around the corner from the Angel shopping centre and plenty of nice restaurants. Angel is also a metro B stop. Tram stops very close to hotel. It is located in side street so not too much noise. Very nice surprise - coffee and tea making facility in the room - first time seen in Prague after staying in at least 20 hotels that were 4 and 5 *. Comfortable bed.
Staff were a bit abrupt. One should get used to that in Prague after some time, but i always hope for them to be nice and kind.
Good free wifi and friendly staff
Location (min 30 minute walk to city centre) Not clean - carpet was covered in hair and wardrobe was unuseable as it reeked of body odour (I dont even understand how that is possible!) No air conditioning in rooms and "double bed" was two singles pushed together with large gap in middle.
The staff were very helpful. Breakfast every morning was varied and plentiful. Good location and excellent value for money.
No airconditioning, but there was a fan in the room which helped.
Very central and quiet area. Good breakfast. Friendly and service minded staff. Very good value for money. Will definitely stay there on my next trip to Prague.
Good location away from the Old towns rush, easy to walk everywhere or take a tram. Nice breakfast and stuff. Small and cozy place.
There had happened double booking though our reservation was made in 7 months ahead... so we couldn't get our room when we arrived late one evening, but extra room was behind the corner, and after few days we got to Arbes.
Location is next to tram stop 5 min from subway and Czech mall. Restaurants and bars in neighborhood are significantly cheaper than in tourist part of town. Breakfast was fantastic. So, for those who can learn public transport, it is wonderful. Service was very helpful too.
No air conditioning...slept with windows wide open and then it was noisy with tram...but, everything has a price. We went for a more economical hotel and for two nights it was fine.
Good location, breakfast, nice staff, great value for money. The room was small, but clean and very comfortable. I especially liked the mattress ))
Poor wi-fi in the room, but much better in the lobby.
it was overall good, close to the city center just a 15 minutes walk and the area is not bad at all. the staff is nice and speak well english.
the bathroom supplies were not enough, the wifi in my room was really really bad.
As a remark i stay at Austria Suites in the same building with Hotel Arbes.Location is very good,in Prague 5,very nearly centre...15-20 min walking till Charles Bridge.Location has a courtyard,it is very quiet.Room big and with all is necessary, like an apartment. The ladies from reception very helpfull and kind and speaking english.
