Archibald At the Charles Bridge    

The large bed and the fact that each room is different. The staff who were all so very helpful, efficient and friendly. The location, one side on the lovely square and the other by the river and the lovely little boat stop. Also the fact that it`s only seconds from the Charles Bridge which meant it was so easy to find after wandering in either side of the city.

Only Earl grey tea and sterilized milk in room. Would prefer breakfast tea and normal milk

River view and very comfortable rooms. Good toiletries & great fluffy towels. Very reasonably priced.

It was a great hotel with a beatiful location. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. It is a great option for a city trip

The service at the reception was excellent. Good food at the restaurant, and the premises excellent.

Value for money, centrally located close walking distance to all of old Prague and lots of restaurants close by to chose from. I liked that they offered pick-up and departure service from the train or airport for a reasonable price.

The breakfast was a bit mediocre

Location close to Charles bridge. We can run down to take a snap shot of the bridge in the early morning when it was not crowded. Nice restaurant.

Parking fee is a bit expensive20€/day!!

Hotein was in a quiet location yet close to many sightseeing and cultural spots.

Prague has become very expensive whilst quality of service and restaurants, especially on main squares, seems to have deteriorated. As a tourist you feel like you are being ripped off. Watch out for taxis - only use aaa service as others will cost three or four times as much.

I loved how close the hotel was to all the sights we wanted to see, we were 1 minutes walk from Charles bridge, 5 from old town square and 10 from prague castle and St Vitus cathedral,it was so centrally located, it was perfect but it was in a quiet area just below the bridge, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, breakfast which was included exceeded our expectations,it was a buffet with so much to choose from.I Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My only complaint was that the pillows were too soft.

Everything about this hotel was really excellent. Located in a quaint little square under the Charles Bridge, views of the River and the Bridge from our bedroom. Heating was running 24 hours a day which was much appreciated because the weather was in the minus when we were there. The staff could not do enough to help us. A gem of a hotel.

Hotel is very quaint and old word. It is also an ideal location. Lovely quaint rooms and very clean.

Some of the staff were unfriendly and one in particular was rude. - Waitress at breakfast in the dining room.Taxi service the hotel offered and charged a premium for was very rude to us on return journey to airport. Breakfast was below average and very little left after 10am. It wasnt replenished after 10am even though breakfast didnt finish till 10.30. So if you werent up before 10 you got the left overs !

The staff were very approachable, friendly and spoke perfect english. They organised out transfer to and from the airport and they even met my request of a bottle of champagne and an ice bucket on arrival in our room. The buffet breakfast which was included in the room price was lovely and I found it very hard not to go back for more! The location was excellent, which was a 200m walk to the King Charles bridge which lead to the old town, and the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel was second to none. I paid slightly more for a river view room and I would seriously recommend it to anyone who will listen. The room was large and beautiful with open beams and the en-suite was done to a very high specification. We were situated in room 24 on the 4th floor but this was not a problem as there was a lift we could take all the way to the top. Outside there is a beautiful little courtyard which would be lovely to sit out in the summer months with a book and a glass of wine.

The cost of drinks/food in cafe's and bars near most tourist attractions E.g the astronomical clock is..... Astronomical!!! We ended up paying £25 for a coffee, a wine and a bottle of water! Try and avoid these places and look for little bistros and bars a short walk away. There are hundreds tucked away in little side streets

Fantastic location and clean efficient and welcoming

Location was perfect, a quiet spot but near the city centre. Room was great with a view of the Charles bridge and River Vltava. staff were welcoming and spoke good English. Would strongly recommend it

Evening meals were good value but seemed over cooked.

Courteous staff. Good location. Nice breakfast.

Toilet on the small side. Window looking towards the river is very small, doesn't worth the extra price.

Our 4th stay at the Archibald Charles Bridge and an even better stay after a renovation. Our room was fab and right opposite our friends which made it fab (31 & 32). Breakfast is great for Prague. Service is spot on with friendly staff. Location is perfect. Thanks again for another great stay!

Atmosphere

This hotel has a perfect location to discover Prague, the river view room was beautiful and had a cosy feel to it. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it.

A little more English tea in the rooms would have been nice

I loved everything about this hotel. It was my first trip to Prague, and I booked online based on cost, location, and other good reviews. I realized after arriving, just what a great location it was. It could not have been better. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a riverside room, and it was great to see the river and the boats and the bridge all from the room. Well worth the extra cost. The breakfasts were great, with every option available, from eggs and bacon or ham, to yogurt or cold cereal. All the staff were very kind and pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel to others!

The only negative was smoking in the restaurant, and it was only on one occasion at dinner time. The cigarette smoke deterred us from eating in the restaurant. Every time we were there for breakfast, the air was clean.
