Most beautifully renovated historic building in the heart of the old town. Very nice reception staff. We stayed at this hotel some five years ago and were looking forward to return. We were very disappointed to see that the restaurant has returned to old socialist habits. A sign says it is open until midnight. My wife and I, room key in hand, came in Friday night at 22:45 asking for a beer and a snack. The head waiter, already closing, waved us away as if we were stray dogs! - For breakfast, they took great care to ensure that only the cheapest of the cheapest groceries were put on the table. Plus, we heard the head waiter scolding a waitress for having brought "too much food" to some guests having breakfast in their room! |

I really liked the room with it's sloping ceilings and bright airy bathroom. It was at the top of the building in the eaves. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent - great service and food. Difficulty booking a table at the restaurant for dinner. It doesn't belong to the hotel so I couldn't book at reception and the girl serving breakfast didn't work for the hotel either so I couldn't book with her. Maybe there should be some kind of reservation service available at reception. |

Arigone is an Hotel/Inn that consists of a number of simple but elegant rooms spread between several floors of two building in the middle of this small city (Olomouc) that houses the Czech Republic's oldest University (12th century). Arigone is located centrally in Olomouc with easy walking access to Gothic cathedrals, palaces and University buildings of the center of town. |

Hotel seems to have been recently renovated/moderised so room was very clean, modern decor and very pleasant. Good location close to the centre of town. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate but fairly unexceptional and unimaginative considering the price of the room. |

Great hotel. The location is very good, the room was quite nice and staff was excellent. There was a mix-up with the reservation, but the staff took care of it right away. |
