The location is a plus, breakfast is OK. Staff is attentive.
A bit noisy due to other guests. Room's blinds are not adequate to prevent sun in the morning. Dirty bed sheets.
Space,location,friendly staff, food
Wifi poor in rooms but ok in bar
when we got to the room, we found that the room hadn't been tidyed up. So , my husband went down to tell the staff and the staff is so nice , he upgrade our room. At last ,we got a bigger room with dining room. so nice~~ Everyday someone tidy up our room. the location is good and nearby the Prague Castle.
i can't use wifi in the bedroom. and In the dinning room it is so poor. the room near the main street to the prague castle. so noisy at night. when the car go by , u can hear clearly.
I like the location
There is no parking space near hotel. You get no help with moving your luggage. Very bad experience.
The owner was extremely helpful at all times. The room was very large and well appointed with the benefit of a dining are and separate kitcen
One of the reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Good beer and food.
The room was not cleaned on a daily basis and even when it was cleaned, it was not a good job. Even though the penthouse room was shown as having an air-conditioning, it wasnt and on a hot summer's day in Prague, the room was very hot and difficult to sleep in
The location is wonderful, room clean and surprisingly quiet; Tonda (who runs the bar, and supplied us with glasses & a coffee after a very stressful traffic moment) couldn't have been lovelier. Great to have a kitchen & good hot water.
The curtains could do with some help! Finding a way to keep single mattresses together would be good too - we ended up turning the mattresses crosswise so we didn't have a gap. The shower also could use some drainage attention.
The accommodation is exceptionally located, and for the perfect location, the hotel costs are low. Up to the Prague Castle its just a few minutes walk and the street, in which the hotel is located is beautiful. The staff of the hotel is very nice and helpful. The breakfast costs only 3 euros and is recommended because it makes a typical Czech impressive. The in-house restaurant is also highly recommended. The food is good and the menus are cheap. In my room was a large comfortable bed, what more do you need?
My boyfriend and I had the room on the first floor, 1b (66 euros for a double room/ price for two people) On the website it was advertised as a great studio with great photos. Unfortunately the room was not that great. There was only one window, which went out into the courtyard. This was very bad because the other hotel guests use the yard to go to their hotel rooms, too. The bathroom was strangely equipped with laminate, small and with no not very luxurious equipment. Also the hairdryer, which should be there, was missing, but on demand we got one. The cleanliness is not that good, but still ok. They could clean some cobwebs.
Be careful!! .. We paid cash and after that they charge me credit card No aircondtion Little bit far from the center
Friendly & helpful staff, good location, clean & solid wifi, very reasonable price.
the room we got was beautiful, not cluttered and had a useful kitchen and amazing bathroom!
The location was great if you wanted to be near the Prague Castle. Lots of restaurants and shops on the street. Beautiful architecture. 5-8 minute walk to Metro. Breakfast was a nice variety of food, both cold and hot foods served. Was nice to have before we set out to explore for the day. Nice hot shower.
Curtains were a problem. We had to kinda tack them down, so people walking by could not see into the room. Did not feel comfortable to dress in the bedroom, so dressed in the bathroom. Room was very sparsely decorated. Room was adequate. Be prepared for a long walk UP the street.
Location, restaurante, (excelente food).
Location near castle and just quiet in nights
A spacious apartment in a heritage building along a historic street at the feet of a great medieval fort. What more can you want? You could ask for a lift but isn't that unfair? Breakfast, featuring some local delicacies too, was outstanding. The staff is very good.
The hotel was struggling with the cleaning lady so we heard a lot of apologies but the apartment wasn't cleaned in five days...
Excellent location, 5 min walking from the castle. We had the studio on the first floor (unfortunately with view on the inner yard), which had a very big bedroom and clean bathroom. Overall we were satisfied, it's a place to stay more than once.
LIMITED hot water! so be careful with long showers.. Breakfast mostly salty, watery coffee. There's no room service, so toiletries are not refreshed.
The location is perfect. Historical building with good service and very good breakfast. I would recommend for everybody!!!
- Super cheap: less than 30 euros a night for a double room with a modernly equipped bathroom. - Super quiet: hard to find in Prague. - Perfectly located: in the heart of Prague's most beautiful district, the Castle - The room fully equipped: free wifi, kitchen corner with microwave oven, electric kettle to prepare coffee/tea, dishes, cutlery; - The boss: super nice and always ready to help to guests
- No elevator, but then again it's a only a 2 floor building - The tasteless food:just go somewhere else to eat, or prepare your own food in the room
We can't speak highly enough about the accommodation. Excellent location in a historic building. Walking distance to the old town. Great location, great varied breakfast, reasonably priced traditional cuisine. Staff friendly, ( also served good local beers). One word of caution we stayed in the penthouse apartment, there are 3 fights of steep stairs. All in all a great place value for money. We loved Prague, we intend to return and will book again!
Great location, huge studio, well equipped. Had a kettle. Excellent value for money. Would return.
Not super clean, but fine. Breakfast was ok - but no hot chocolate and had to pay £3 for extra No lift.
I liked location, because it located in central Praha near Prazski hrad. It's very beautiful historical please. Breakfast is delicacy. Room is very big and clean. Thanks to administration for our holiday!!!
location, breakfast, atmosphere.
Good location. Close to the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, tram and metro. Lots to see walking distance from the apt. Breakfasts were good and plentiful. Fresh towels were available upon asking the housekeeper, if you could catch her when doing her rounds.
We were booked for a studio apartment - even saw pictures that represented an open and sunny room. We got an (probably larger) apartment with very sloped ceilings (head bangers), up four serious flights of stairs. Furniture was tattered and soiled in places, kitchen incomplete. Only one small, unopening window in the living space, with poor lighting, made it very dark. When we asked to move to lower apt., More liked promised, we were told the place was full, even though we saw a sign that advertised "apts. For rent". We decided to just tough it out (we are almost 70, but fit) - sorry we did, cause the stairs were difficult when we both got a cold and had trouble breathing going up and my husband still has a head bruise from banging on the sloped ceilings. The host was not very available and always seemed busy with something else-the help they advertised was not as described. Wi-fi only worked downstairs in the dining room. Maybe a different apartment would have made for a different impression of the place, but the top apartment was not a good experience.
