We thought all was great staff, rooms , clean, helpful

The only thing i could critisize was the lack of drink making facilities in the rooms

For approximately £18 a night on a special deal, this was a luxurious looking place. The rooms were spacious, elegant and the housekeeping was excellent as towels were changed each day. The Balloon Restaurant offering dinners and lunches, was extremely reasonably priced with excellent food. A lot of the staff on the desk were friendly and aimed to be helpful.

Some of the staff were rude and agitated at English guests not understanding their poor directions. Breakfast was supposed to be from 730 to 930, but one morning at 925, the waiter took the coffee away and said: "It's over!" to bemused thirsty guests. The description of the hotel being "thirty minutes walk from the castle" is a lie. Please take note: to get to the castle or anywhere, you will need to take trams which take 30 minutes to get to the castle area, followed by a 5-10 minute walk uphill. The hotel is a very long way from the old town and if you want to explore and dont know Prague well, you'd be better off getting a hotel in the new town.

i was a single traveler and i had to book a double room because the single rooms were more expensive than a double.

the woman on reception was very nice.

the breakfast could be till 10 o'clock.. or even till 10.30. it's a touristic city! sometimes people want sleep more...:)

Poor WiFi signal in the room; also I am used to friendlier people and cleaner bathrooms in similar hotels in Praha.

Location - very close to tram and bus, good and quiet part of the city, friendly staff, tasty breakfast (all the same every day, but plenty of different kinds of food),

Quite environment. Easy to reach by public transport. New Metro Station nearby under construction. Very good, inexpensive and big restaurant.

People smoke in the same room!

The hotel is very clean, the staff was friendly, close proximity to the airport, not too far from the city centre.

The bed matresses were not very comfy - too hard, the walls/doors are not very sound proof - one could hear external noises, the breakfast was fair but I would prefer a bit more choice.

Worth the money (we booked with 50% discount, else I would find the hotel a little bit expensive). There was no problem to find a parking place in the street right in front of the hotel. Room was clean and convenient, very quiet. Breakfast more than sufficient. I can imagine booking again in the Avion hotel.

Situated far away from the city centre but we knew this. Anyway, the tram stop was quite close and the connection was good (25 minutes to the old town without need of change).

Prices in restaurant Ballon are good, food was awsome. Location is good, tram 5,20,26 are going to the center. Free outside parking. That's all you need

The hotel has a tv, it includes breakfast which is good and it is very clean.

The staff doesn't speak english very well. They are helpful but they don't have city maps or any information about Prague. The hotel is really far from the center and a bit dangerous to walk there at night (a guy was trying to mug us one night when we where walking back from the tram around 10 pm). The breakfast ends at 9 am and they don't tell you that the first day, so if you don't like waking up very early, then you will never get breakfast. The restaurant is ok but not a place where you can eat every day and there is nothing around the hotel to go out, have a beer or dinner.

The breakfast is way too early, only until 09.30, even in the weekend. It should last at least until 11.00 hrs.

Nice and clean rooms, helpful staff, the restaurant next door (belonging to hotel) was great both in terms of quality and price, very good value for money.

Breakfast is good but quite basic, hotel is 20-25 min. tram ride away from the city centre, though tram stop is not far away (5 min walk)

Close to the airport. Excellent free wi-fi all round the hotel. Great bar and good food in the restaurant. Very helpful receptionist and bar staff.

Breakfast was a little basic but it did the job.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Very comfortable beds. The room was cleaned and the towels were changed each day. Tasty and rich breakfast. You can park your car on the street directly by the hotel. You can reach the Charles Bridge within 20-25 minutes by one tram. The tram stop is quite near to the hotel.

The staff was not too kind. The walls are so thin that you can here clearly what your neighbours are speaking about, even their snoring. You can hear each door closing/slemming.
