Bellagio Hotel Prague

Hotellet var helt nyt, det var ikke det Bellagio jeg oprindelig bestilte. Jeg fik en mail en uge før afrejse og fik at vide at det gamle hotel lukkede og at vi kunne bo på det nye hvis vi ville, det var nu ok, men ikke det "gamle" hus jeg syntes var charmerende, der var ingen hjemmeside så man kunne se hvordan det nye hotel så ud, kun foto af eventuelt værelse. Jeg synes at de må have vidst det lidt længere en ca en uge før de modtog gæster. Personalet var dog yderst venlige og hjælpsomme

Hotellet var 4-stjernet, måske ikke efter vest-europæisk standard, morgenmadslokalet var til max 3 stjerner, trist og idéforladt og morgenmaden svarer heller ikke til de hoteller jeg har boet på før, men måske er der forskel på øst og vest, det tænkte jeg ikke på da jeg gik en stjerne op og troede der var lidt mere luksus end der var, fordelen var at alt var nyt, så nyt at alt ikke var helt færdigt. Hotellets standard er måske standard generelt i Prag og så er det jo ok, det skal man måske tænke på når man sidder og vælger hotel. Nu valgte jeg jo egentlig ikke dette hotel, men havde ikke så meget valg med en uges varsel.Jeg kan ikke svare på hvad andre gæster synes, da der ikke er nogle kommentarer, der er ikke en hjemmeside for det nye hotel, det var der ikke i søndags.

Very comfortable bed

Poor Breakfast(was that an orange juice?),they would make me pay two times!!!!Quiet far from everything...

The hotel staff was very friendly.

They say they have air conditioning but only my room out of 3 in our group actually had it.

The staff was knowledgeable (recommended good places to eat and shop), very helpful and accommodating with all our requests. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

The location of the hotel is wonderfull, about 5min walk for the old town square. Another advantage of the hotel is the stuff, most of them are very helpfull. Finally, the rooms on the 5th floor are in a attic, which is beautifull and very romantic.

Maybe, some of the stuff could be more helpfull about the information for entertainment (live jazz bar etc)

Breakfast . Service was rather poor the empty spaces on buffet were not replenished unless you asked which meant asking for several items ie Hot water,plates ,cutlery,bread, orange juice and several other items.

This is a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location for visiting Prague. It is surrounded by a multitude of restaurant options.

It is so close to old town square. It is not expensive according to its position.

The Bellagio is in a very central location, in the Jewish district of Old Town, a few minutes walk from the Old Town Square and still close to the Charles Bridge. Its out of the hussle and bussle but still very much central. The hotel itself is clean and well presented, modern yet traditional. We managed to get a very reasonable deal through booking.

We booked the room as a luxury double advanced payment deal. However when we arrived we discovered that there is in fact no luxury rooms, only standard doubles and one suite. We were in a standard double which was a lovely room but not the luxury lodgings we had been anticipating. We were also promised complimentary champagne which we did not receive. I felt the booking information was misleading.
