Great experience on boat Lovely decoration Good location, easy to find Delicious breakfast Nice friendly staffs
Single room has no air-con & lots of Mosquitos Anyway staff offered me a big fan which solved problem very well, but a fan just operated not in so good condition & a bit noisy. However, it's fine overall. I'd love to stay there again!
So different to stay on a boat. Fantastic location , lovely staff who were happy to assist with anything. Breakfast was included and very nice. Dinner in the restaurant was very special . Fantastic food and wonderful staff. We were into our second week of travelling and this was our best meal! All the staff spoke perfect English which made it very easy. Loved it!
It is not a five star property but fantastic quality and great value for the price.
Somewhere different -not your usual hotel location
The botel was very clean, we were upgraded for free to an executive room with beautiful view of the river. The boat appeared to be docked so it didn't rock in the night and we had a great nights sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location and I will be recommending this hotel to friends and would definitely stay again should we return to Prague.
in the Centre of the city
I was given a room without any view
Enjoyed every aspect of the stay: beds, rooms, mini-bar, restaurant, value-for-money, location, parking.
Best place if you are looking something different from a regular hotel. The room is nice an clean, very nice view from to the town.
The location on the river in the centre is perfect. It's a novel change to stay on a boat. The restaurant is first class. Good value. We give it five stars.
-The atmosphere on the boat. -The view, it's very romantic. -The position, close to the dancing house.
-The shower plate was unclean
Helpful staff, parking right outside, great breakfast, good bar, near to shops and other restaurants, lovely rooms
Only negative was some noise from outside, not at night which you would expect given location but at half five in the morning, screeching girls right outside our window for a good hour. Wonder if some notices could be put up asking people to bear in mind people are sleeping. Otherwise a fantastic hotel, gimmicky recommended
The vue from the window... The location...
Central location, free parking when reserved in advance, quality cabin on a boat made for something different within easy walking distance to all attraction. Comfortable and clean enquire rooms, good wifi and a good nights sleep. Very good breakfast on the neighbouring restaurant sister boat.
Rooms are small, but this should be expected on a boat, so not really a negative.
The noise, spiders everywhere and no AC. Unacceptable for a 4 stars hotel.
The Botel idea was a new experience for us, and the combination of location, the boat, the staff and the georgeous view was just perfect.
There are a lot of spiders on the boat. A little effort would reduce them significantly, especially in the restaurant where they made several assaults on us from the light shades above the table.
the location, design and breakfast is perfect
only I saw a spider in the bathroom
The riverview was excellent, the staff helpful and location was great. It's close to the tram which is only 35 koronas.
Would have liked a sampling of Czech food and deserts.
Mine was a very last minute decision to visit Prague and the decision to stay on a Botel gets an A+. It was a wonderful experience with two very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Perfect location. Good clean room and lost importantly a clean bathroom. The breakfast is not bad either.
My single room could have been a little bit bigger.... but no complaints as one only used the room at night after being a very busy tourist. The female staff at the restaurant for breakfast could have been friendlier and more pro-active. The last minute rate for the room i found to be slightly on the higher scale.
Very quiet location - a boat moored at the eastern side of the Vltava river. Still, trams stop is a stone's throw away (tram #17 is very useful) and the nearest Metro is just some five minutes' walk - important, since public transport is the best way to move around in Prague. Still, 'Boatel' Matylda is within easy walking distance from virtually all major attractions in central Prague. Comfortable 160 cm wide double bed in our room was very comfortable. AC was working well and quietly, when needed. Well functioning and quite fast, free wifi in room. Friendly and helpful staff, with good English. Breakfast is in the adjoining boat restaurant, which is also a good standard, but somewhat expensive, daytime/evening Italian style restaurant. Cheap and quite good Thai/Vietnamese restaurant is across the street, just next to a small service shop for water, snacks and spirits.
Room ('cabin' on a boat, right?) a bit dark, with low ceiling and small windows but still very OK. Breakfast, while quite adequate, could use a bit more variation. While the tap water is claimed to be potable, we preferred bottled water. A free water bottle in the room would have been appreciated.
Staff, not friendly, not of assistance Rooms, like coffins Restaurants and the hotel, they do not coordinate, in the restaurant or cafe they do not charge to your room Parking is far away, you have to walk
fantastic to stay on the river. nice room, helpful staff and the restaurant next door was magnificent
a lot of spiders in room coming through gaps in doors
Boat Nice staff in the reception
Our room no.23 - not a good value for money Poor breakfast choice
Location, bed, calmness of being on the water (especially when it rained), breakfast, great view of the river.
I'm tall, and the shower was a little small, but that's about it!
We stayed in junior suite. It was so roomy and clean. The restaurant on matylda was fantastic for romantic dinner and nice breakfast.
Having to leave.
From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more helpful, their English was great and their knowledge of Prague was remarkable. The highest quality everywhere and the bedroom door opening onto the river with swans gliding past was wonderful. It was a great experience.
Can't find anything to complain about.
