Hotel was architecturally lovely and old europe but needs a facelift - Buffet breakfast included was very sumptuous - omlette station, cheese, bread, pastries fruit, fresh vegetables, lox, sun dried tomatoes, several fruit juices, meats, etc. Staff mostly accommodating - porters and housekeeping very sweet...front desk some better than others. Location not right by attractions but also quieter than if you were right in the middle of things - still walkable though so didn't need public transportation. the pool was broken when we got there and was "supposed to be fixed in the next day" but we stayed 6 nights and it was still broken! The lobby was being painted when we arrived and we went in a side door, then they started painting other parts of the main floor while we were there. BEWARE what room you get - there is a whole side of the building (where our room was) where the rooms face A Wall! You cannot get on a floor higher than the wall because the wall is as high as the hotel. They make the best of it - they have painted vines to camouflage but the fact remains! Needed an adapter and there was none to be had - they were all out - but after asking several more times they found one.

Great location. Close proximity to major squares in the city, shopping mall etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice rooms and interior. The room was too hot even with the a.c. on all day. Pool and jacuzzi are out of order.

Beautiful, well maintained interior, stylish bar, restaurant and lounges. Helpful staff. Small room, two twin beds pushed together rather than a double, swimming pool out of order throughout our stay. For the price the luxury element fell short in several ways.

Central location, shops nearby. Excellent swimming pool. Hotel was featured in the 2001 movie 'the bourne identity' staring Matt Damon. Cost is expensive, but then it is a 5 star hotel. Was charged to my credit card immediately at the time of booking, even though it was still within my cancellation period had I needed to cancel.

Very good wellness area with swimming pool and jaccuzi. Staff at the receptiond desk very helpful. Catering: Very poor breakfast, 3 days the same meal, warm buffet was also 3 days cold (sausages, bacon, tomatoes), very bad way of serving omelets and scrambled eggs - you have to wait min. 5-10 minutes at the same row, where is the cold buffet, so you have no chance to take something from the cold buffet because of the waiting people. Avarage coffee. If I can recommend to future travellers, do not order breakfast in this hotel. Room: demaged hangers in bathtube, one cosmetic set=1 pcs. (Shower gel, shampoo) for 2 people and 3 night stay.

Hotel has large indoorpool. I didnt like behaviour of receptionists, who were arrogant, dishelpful and cold. They didnt greet first, we have to ask them for their attention, they didnt even look at us, when we were approaching reception and there was no other guest in the whole hall. Public areas in hotel were too much air conditioned,so there was very cold.

Staff and Doormen were courteous and friendly. The room was very comfortable and the location handy I was so annoyed that the Jacuzzi and Steam Room were both not working for the entire length of my stay. The Spa/pool water was too cold to contemplate entering. I had a very bad back and was extremely disappointed that this selling point/hotel facility was not working and not fixed. The apology was a standard response...and the out of order signs look like they have been around for years! The fotos of the Spa facility were the reason that I chose this hotel, and I hoped that the previously negative critiques/response about the broken Spa would finally prompt the managemnt to resolve, what appears to be a very long running problem. Sadly this was not the case....and this really did spoil my visit and time at this 'luxury' hotel. If I had paid full price than I would have asked for some compensation...but Prague is beautiful and I was not going to allow this to ruin my stay.

Except for the restaurant that must be avoided and the out od order jacuzzi, this hotel was very fine, with cosy rooms and very helpful staff, conveniently located at walking distance from all palces of interest. We did all our visit by walk directly from the hotel. While the breaskast was fine, the restaurant was very poor and expensive. Also and it seems to be a recurrent issue in this hotel, the jacuzzi in the spa were out of order.
