The room was clean and nice.
The dinner in the restaurant. We needed to wait a long time, the food was not so good as expected.
Location of the hotel is very convenient: it is right by the subway and bus station, besides, it is a walking distance to the city center
Breakfast quality - acceptable. Room facilities - very poor: broken toilet seat etc. Ran out of shower gel in the shower dispenser, but couldn't get it filled for 2 days - any receptionist would just postpone it to their relief. Generally, personnel is ok and quite helpful, but the hotel is not worth the money they are asking for
- position - view - room - breakfast - romantic view on river - big size of room
- I would say the best 2* you can find - little old
personnel and breakfast package
smelly room but you can survive one night...
Staff are really professional, supportive and kind. Location is excellent.
Bathroom is so small and waterbadin did not work properly and they could not fix it while we stayed there
Really nice place with friendly staff. Walking distance from the metro. Good breakfast with a great view of the river.
We asked for a double bed and were given 2 twin beds. Bathroom light didn't work at times... we could never figure out how to use it.
Staff were fine, breakfast wasn't bad at all. Nice view at breakfast. 5 minute walk to train station.
Tv had no reception but not too important. We had a view of the main road not the river so didn't feel like we were staying on a boat anyway. If you get a room on this side and have no view of the river you may as well be staying in a rubbish hotel. Only one of the main lights worked and the lamp was broken so hardly any light in the room. Bathroom had a funny smell. Room had no decoration just white walls and old, rough brown carpet. Bathroom was teeny and got incredibly steamy when using the shower. Bathroom ventilator was broken and the one in the bedroom made a alot of noise so couldn't keep it on for long. Bed was very uncomfortable and duvet covers had no buttons so quilt came out of the end every two minutes. Not sure where from as it wasn't in our bathroom but could hear dripping all night. People also walking around above you is really loud! We had people walking around at 4 am :(.
friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, river location with good vista across river
Staff will let you check out later if you ask. Breakfast is good, together with the view-good cheap stay to see the town and not spend money just for few hours of sleep.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, location easy to find, close to metro station.
View from the room was good
Wifi connection was not available at all in our room as it was the corner bottom room
very good breakfast, clean and comfortable hotel ,very nice staff
the bed is too low and room little bit cold
Location close to metro station.
Smelly room, old furniture, spider webs, cold(!). Sorry, no more again.
Nicely staff. Breakfast was good.
It is kind of oldish. Bathroom is too small.
location close to metro station, very nice view from river rooms, good breakfast (i was surprised), nice staff
old furniture, apart from bed and bathroom not very clean
Extremely friendly staff (no problems at all with english and even some polish ;), 24/7 reception, excellent location (near train, metro & public transport stations, 15 minutes to city centre). Very good breakfast. Also pubs, shops and 24/7 petrol station are all on the other side of the road. Rooms are comfortable and with air conditioning. Perfect place for tourist visits in Prague.
Only downside was the fact that TV was not working because remote was missing and staff could not help me (all spare remotes were not compatible). Wi-Fi working in rooms but slow from time to time.
Excellent location with nice restaurant on the terrace, easy to find and is close to the subway, evening meal and drinks very good for a reasonable price
Small bathroom, we got breakfast packs for early departure but they were very simple without drink
Not clean. No wifi. No sleep at all.
Close to the metro station
This place could be great, but 20 years ago. At this moment it is scruffy and a bit dirty, room was awful and smelly. Botel Vodnik needs immediate renovation!
The botel itself is an attraction. And it has been more comfortable than I expected. Perhaps because we got so tired in finding it, yet its location was not so bad, we just hadn't considered the route seriously enough.
Is Prague somehow on a movie called "invasion of spiders"?
the location was great -- just two blocks from the tram stop, with was an easy ride into the city. For the price, it's a good deal -- it's a very basic budget hotel.
the a/c wasn't functioning, so we left the windows open, which let in a bunch of mayflies (completely harmless and didn't bother us at all.) However, this also drew in a bunch of large spiders, which were also probably harmless, but gave us the heebie-jeebies about shaking out all the blankets and pillows before sleeping.
As a botel, it's wide and comfort.
Internet is not stable and caused me trouble.
close to city center, good price for room, car parking, close to metro, good breakfast, air condition,
facilities are old, not refurbished for long time, small shower room (low ceiling),
Romantic location with an overview on the river. Good staff at the reception.
Very poor service at the breakfest, bad rooms...sorry, with a not working toilet...
Location: close to the yellow metro line.Walk to the city centre very far.
