The key word for this hotel is BASIC. Strong features: 1/just a few steps from Krizikowa metro station; 2/only 8-10 mins walking or 1 metro station to Florenc-Central Bus Station (TIP: the cheapest round trip ticket to Dresden is with Orangeways); 3/clean and enough confortable rooms; 4/receptionist polite, assertive and providing you all necesary information; 5/good breakfast; 6/you could find a supermarket in the nearby. Do not expect more than fair quality and... don't forget your soap.

we ´d stay there again: very reasonable price, clean rooms and sheets, new towels the next day and an adequate breakfast with everything you need, even the coffee was ok. The hotel´s parking place is about 200 meters up the street and, although its only secured by a fence, a barrier and a camera, it obviously is used by Porsche-drivers and Aston Martins. Therefore, we had no problem to leave our old Ford there:) Additionally, the hotel is right next to the metro station "Krizikova" (10 meters), which itself is only three stops from "Mustek", which is in the center at the "Václavské náměstí" (Wenceslas Square). NOTHING (if you don´t like table-clothes made of paper you might want to look for a more expensive hotel. But if you don´t have a problem with that, stay at hotel brno!)

Everything was good for that price - we took triple room and paid only 10 euro per person by night. Staff there was very helpful - with their help we went to airport within 50 minutes=) There was no shower gel. Only small piece of soap. Also, one funny thing - every day houskeeper gave to us 1 towel per person, but didn't took previous ones. In the one of our holydays we had full room of towels))

Location is perfect, just 50m from a metro station. There are also restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast menu and hotel staff hospitality are impressive! Little noise can be heard from neighbours rooms, isolation could be better.

The room was nothing fancy but the fittings where new and it was meticulously clean. The multi-lingual staff where very helpful. Parking is short walk down the same street as the hotel. Free internet terminal at the reception and free Wi-Fi in all rooms. The breakfast was included –scrambled egg, frankfurter style sausages, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, salad, choice of cereals, yogurt, choice of bread and local cakes. The coffee and juice were not the best, however there was a choice of Lipton teas. Below the hotel is a nice Italian restaurant, we had three main courses and three drinks for 20 Euros, also two good sandwich shops nearby. Staff can book you a reasonably priced Taxi (very rare in Prague). However, the entrance to the Metro is about 25 meters from the Hotel. You can a buy a 24 hour combined metro, tram and bus ticket for 110 krowns (5 Euros) or get a single ticket for 24 krowns (1 Euro). Metro trains are usually very 10 minutes. Three stops on the Metro takes you directly to Mustek Station on Wenceslas Square, an ideal place to start your investigate of Prague’s beautiful old Town.

Price and location are excellent, rooms are large, they change towels regulary every morning, and they change sheets every second day. It's quite, I feeled safe and the metro station is just few steps from the entrance. We had a lot of valuable things in our rooms, but we left them regullary in room when we went on city tour (we were 10 days in hotel) and nothing happend to them. The staff was very kind and helpfull. But most of all I have to recommend breakfast in hotel: the food was very good and on base of selfservice - one can eat as much as he wants from 6.30 till 10.00 o'clock. Next time we'll go to the same hotel in Prague. It's really value for money. They don't receive american express card. We had to pay in cash when we got there because they did not receive our payement with american express card through Booking.com. The problem was that nobody informed us about that and we came in Prague thinking we have hotel already payed - and then we had to give cash (we didn't have some other card with us). But they receive other cards, and if you have them with you there will be no problem.

Charles Central is very well located, a few metres from a Metro stop which takes you to the centre of Prague in 3 stops (5 minutes). The rooms were old fashioned, but very clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. There was lots of hot water which is essential in Prague in winter! The breakfast was basic but very good. The hotel was excellent value for money and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget who expects basic yet clean facilities.

Very close to Krizikova metro station, just the next building... 1. Walls paint. 2. Curtain-rod was not working well and the curtains fall as soon as you touch them. Sick of it. 3. No kettle. But the survice personnel provided it then. 4. After cleaning company's having delivered the fresh towels, they were kept on right on the floor of the storage. God knows which towel will be brought to your room. 5. When confirming the reservation for visa, we failed to contact their reception for a week! Booking.com helped. Hotel teleph numbers were wrong everywhere. I was furious...

Good location, good staff - answer all your questions, as for breakfast it provides rather good choice, besides, there are always apples and oranges, but the lack of cottage cheese and hot porridge or smth. Like that, and the same food every day:( хорошее местоположение, персонал отвечает на все вопросы, помогает вплоть до распечатки графика транспорта, если попросите:)), довольно неплохой завтрак,апельсины - яблоки всегда, но нам не хватало творога и горячего - каши, например, и, кроме того, меню не меняется:(( a lot of useful information about excursions and special offers in the shops много информации об экскурсияхна английском и на русском языках, кроме того, спрашивайте на ресепшн о различных спецпредложениях от разных магазинов, такие тоже могут быть:)) No electrical tea-pot in the room нет чайника в номере,

Price & location, close to Florenc bus station. We had an overnight transit in Prague, on our way to Vienna. Poor cleanliness of the room, old, dirty carpets, sheets were clean but underneath the blankets were somewhat rubbishy. The breakfast was a nice surprice, however.

Breakfast was good: there were vegetables, what is not common in such low-cost hotels. No wallpapers, no curtains in rooms and in the bathroom, the wind was blowing through the windows. Overall, it is not very comfortable to stay in such room, however it is ok for one or two nights.

Everything was very good for the price. The hotel is close to the metro stop, within easy walking distance of the centre. Staff really friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Really happy with this hotel, it's an absolute bargain. The room was not so clean. The shower/tube did not have a curtain, bathroom needs updating. There is not a drier. But, still worth the money. I strongly recommend it for youth!
