The location is superb – right in the old center of the Prague, only 7 minutes walk to the Astronomical Clock. The apartment is comfortable, clean and quiet (we had a room from the back yard). Great place for those who appreciate sightseeing and feeling the atmosphere of Prague.
Entrance and elevator aren’t nice, but acceptable. The only problem in our room was a heater in the bathroom making loud sounds.
They said we dont take EU or dolar but they took EU very less.why we cant pay EU? we booked 99 EU but they took nearly 110 EU..attention to booking.com
Location was very good.
Walls like paper. You can hear noises from the hallway and from other apartments very clearly.
the location is good. it's around 1.5 km from the Charles Bridge, the most frequented place in Prague. it had subway just a minute walk from the hotel, it saved our lives!!
the worst thing was the bad smell!! when you get inside the main door or go out of the room, you'll get that bad smell. probably it comes from the toilet situated right beside the elevator on the ground floor. the room was not well planned, it was pretty difficult to put your things in order, it had kitchen, wardrobe, dining table and yet it was very placed in a very disorganized manner. the hotel surroundings itself was shabby and not clean. the reception is not available after 6 pm, so if you are in need of any help, then you are stuck!! for example, if you forget to take your key and lock the door, then you might need to stay outside till they open the reception in the next morning!!
The location is excellent. Metro and tram nearby, Tesco and shopping mall, all the touristic attractions no more than 15 minutes of walking time. The facilities are awesome. It is almost the same as staying home. Huge TV,fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Wifi was good.
The entrance in the hotel is not very...nice :) Kinda creepy, but still OK. The elevator is very small and seems shabby. The room was not perfectly clean when we checked in. But then again...the price was incredibly small.
Location was good
I think it was a lot different from the picture. So old..elavator, door .. The most inconfortable thing was to open and close door with key. I almost couldn't get in to the room. :(
first I dont know where is 4 star rating in the website came from!! its not even one star!first as We enter the buliding there was a very bad smell up to the our room door, inside room was ok but receiption only works from 8:30a.m till 6:00 pm. Also not friendly staff. For our second night we moved to other place with same price but much much better. I would notrecommend this place to anybody
lift is old and we were over the mechanism, so very noisy when in use - luckily it wasnt very busy
Firstly, its location is perfect in that it is very close to tram and the metro lines. Everything was better than we expected. The stuff was very friendly. The linens and towels were very clear. They came to take our dust everyday. The tv, heating system, refrigerator, the plugs, microwave, the lights were all working which is quite important. There is a little market in the entrance of the building and its open till 2:30 am. It was worth the price we have paid.
The lift was a bit scary its not out of order but it makes you a bit anxious since it is old and small. There was a continuing contruction that starts at an early time.however we were waking up so early so It didnt make us irritated that much.
Location was fantastic. Really in the city center. Wasn't noisy at night either.
We initially booked studio, but were given a full apartment. Enjoyed the location but the facility of the apartment was rather poor (old, and needs some fixing here and there)
That the apartment was in the center. It was clean and nice, comfortable.
There wasn't near any parking space. The bathroom was very small, the view from window wasn't like in picture.
The room was good and the employee was quite nice. The room has a washing and drying machine that can be useful when you're travelling for some days and need to wash clothes.
The phone number that is on the booking site is wrong. We made several attempts to call (to see if it was possible to leave the bags) and couldn't do it. Only confirmed when we went there personally. The reception should be better identified.
Location was excellent - and the reason why we chose it. The apartment nice, had everything what we needed there, the bed was big and comfortable and the staff helpful. I recommend it to people who do not have exceptionally high standards - it's great value for money.
Wifi didn't work first night and people were complaining to the receptionist about it. She was trying to get this fixed and indeed, the following days wifi worked no problem. Upon arrival, we also found a terribly smelly shower mat in our bathroom - after we complained, we were asked to leave it on the stairs next to the elevator where it remained for the next few days - stinking. The walls were quite thin, we could hear people next door being loud during nights - but what can you do :)
Old building Closed roads
Location of the apartment was very central, easy walk to all highlights. Apartment was modern and well equipped.
Check in assistant was very short. Parking reservation was a tick box on the website which I had missed, but I mentioned it in my requests, but was very unfriendly told I had no car park. At some stage workmen had been in our room and moved our belongings to access the windows.
The hotel debited my account a day early, the hotel information provided clearly states: "You'll pay when you stay at Central National Apartments" also i was still within my cancellation period: "Cancellation cost Until 18 June 2014 23:59 [Prague]: EUR 0 From 19 June 2014 00:00 [Prague]: EUR 68" So the day before we arrived i should have been charged MAX 68euro and that was only if i cancelled, which of course we didn't. Return home to find an overdrawn letter from my bank. We arrived just in time for check in, but the office was closed - on closer inspection booking.com actually has the wrong info for this and reception shuts at 6pm, you need to collect your keys from the mini market - if your lucky. The first thing you notice is 90% of the pictures are rather deceiving, apart from the scruffy back lane looking ones. The entrance to the hotel absolutely reeks of damp, as if at one point its been flooded. The bathroom light was broken, only the one above the mirror worked. Toilet was snapped on one side and sliding around. The stay wasn't too bad, we didn't spend much time in the Apartment and i probably wouldn't have even bothered writing this review if it wasn't for the day early charge. Avoid and go somewhere else.
Near all attractions
Very difficult to find
this was not at all the room we booked. The photo shows a nice, colurful, light room, whereas ours was DRAB, GLOOMYand very DARK. The service area and the house itself were miserable. On top of all these, due to overbooking we were separated from the friends we went with: we booked two rooms but when we arrived we were informed that they have only one, so our friend were put up elsewhere. I would NEVER go there again
the wifi was great, fairly central location, cleanliness on arrival enough, the price is reasonable.
the room was not as in the picture but much smaller, the windows were sealed and there was a sheet of paper with written that were closed during the winter even though I've been there in May ... just a fan and a window in the bathroom faces in the pipes to ventilate the room. The building is located in a small alley and it is hard to find now since it has no sign. Do not buy anything from the Japanese that is down (we did pay for the water 8 euro!). Highly recommended is the only change money always on the reception floor, is the only honest in Prague (the other center to steal the money). Do not expect that you come to clean the room is not going to happen, only bring toilet paper, nothing more. The lift does not have a door. To turn on the stove the room it takes a lot a lot of force to press the buttons as they are defective and the hood does not work with the windows closed so you just have to hope they do not choke! DO NOT LEAVE THE LIGHTS ON FOR ANY REASON OR INSECT will enter EASILY AND CAN NOT COME OUT FROM 'ONE TINY WINDOW ! Good luck;)
An Excellent location and easy going company that run it. What the property(flat #12) lacks in size it makes up for in location and value for money.
Showering brought the risk of flooding
Near Tesco, good facilities.
Lift is very small and the purpose of lift is for package delivery not people but we have to use this lift
Excellent location, the apartment was well equipped.
Windows didn't opened.
Friendly counter staff. The interior setting of the apartment was good, with a large TV, cosy couch and a functional kitchen. Could be better if the smart TV is hooked up to the internet.
The exterior of the building and reception area looks a but run down, especially the elevator, which is producing a screeching sound during operation. Not a big issue but just the first impression. The bathtub drainage plug is not working well and water is running off fast.
Very centric and nice apartment
The bathroom was ok, but there was a spot on the wc and lots of hairs!!!!! Lights turned on and off with sensors and didn't work very well so it was annoying.
