Central Hotel Prague  

I stayed with two other friends in a triple room which was very comfortable and cosy but also a good price. What we were more interested in, of course, was to be near the centre of the city so the 5-minute walking distance from the Old Town Square was most convenient. The staff spoke very good English and were helpful and smiling. We were all three very pleased with our stay at the Central Hotel ( my niece really enjoyed the breakfast too.)

We stayed at Central Hotel Prague for 2 nights and location was really important for us because of the weather conditions. And this hotel was just between powder tower and astronomical clock. Walking distance to almost everywhere. Breakfast was more than ok there were 4-5 kind of cheese and a lot of things. Rooms are little bit old and small but they were ok. Definitely hotel is a good choice for that price. I totally recommend everyone to stay there as i will do next time.

The hotel was in an excellent location. The room was warm clean and comfortable. The decor was good and the hotel appeared to be well maintained. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

Location, location, location :) It is located less than 5 minutes walk from main square in Old Town. Also, easily accessible by metro from main bus station. Bathroom was very clean, breakfast was ok.

Too expensive for what they offer. But if you are staying for 2-3 nights, it is acceptable. All appliances and furniture are very old, bulbs missing in lamps, windows look as they could not be closed properly, but place looks clean. Room in all was far from the name it has ("Deluxe Triple Room") It was probably deluxe when hotel was opened, some 30-40 years ago :)

We especially liked that we could walk to everything we were interested in seeing while there. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! Our view (we lucked out on that!!) was very nice! Will tell others about Central Hotel if they are visiting Prague.

Not used to what we presume is the "typical" bedding for that area!Also, as Americans, we are used to having a washcloth provided-but managed without!

The room was good as expected. The staff was very friendly and I send a special thanks to Daniella who was of a great help to my husband (in israel) in organizing for me a little birthday event at my room entering. Outstanding location (in the center of the center) and very safe surrounding allowed us (two sisters) to enjoy walking out at any hour. Back again at prague ? At the Central Hotel certainly. I forgot to say that breakfast was good.

Since almost all was good/perfect, just two or tree remarks... Rooms should have a fridge and a water boiling pot. The hotel should renew his stock of towels and install a complimentary cold/hot water distributor or tea/coffee machine.
