Central location, courtesy, style, quietness,

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Centrally located just outside the old town square, homely and friendly place.

The double bed had 2 single mattresses. And the bed was making too much noise.

The owners of the hotel have restored the ancient building of 16th century very accurately. But despite the attention and care of old times, the traveller feels very comfortable in the hotel. Every detail is convenient. The hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, it is quite place in the centre of Old Town.

Excellent location only 1/2 block from main square. Great hot breakfast in beautiful gothic room. Historic building and bedroom ,but modern bathrooms.

50 year old blond receptionist was rude upon check in. Rest of staff was nice.

WiFi is not reliable in the room. Safe box is small (not notebook/ipad size) with regular, not electronic lock. Lighting in the room could be improved: not adequate for high ceilings.

We were offered transfer from/to airport at a cost way above the average on the market. And the coffee was the worst ever!

The position of the hotel is perfectly located in the Prague Square! And It is quite typically historical and cozy decorated!

The Hotel Cerny Slon is superlocated in the very center of Prague, you can easily reach every place. The atmposphere is classic and typical, thus I highly recommend this hotel to everybody.

The location was great just on the alley from the old town sqwer the staff were all very nice and helpful it was clean and warm

At night some time it can be noisy because people are walking write just below the room

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Room was cozy.

Our bathroom (a triple room on the 3rd floor) had a wobbly shower screen and the shower needed mould removed from the grout.

Very welcoming, very unique rooms and comfortable beds. Such a great location for seeing all of the sites in Prague.

It would have been nice if the all the towels were fluffy and if there was kettle or coffee maker in the room. The bar staff weren't that friendly.

This was our first time in Prague and I am so glad we chose the Hotel Cerny Slon. The hotel is less than a minute walk from the Old Town Square and is a beautiful old hotel. It is a family run hotel and the staff could not have been nicer to us and would go out of their way for you. We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Prague. 8

There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel, it's just perfect.

the hotel was right in the centre of every thing and nothing was too much trouble to do for us if we needed anything,the room was bright and airy and very clean

only little thing there was no tea/coffee making set up in the room

Location- literally only steps from the main square; Flexible/early (1pm) check-in; Good value- best room for the price/location/amenities I have experienced in Europe; Staff speaks excellent English

1) No reliable internet access in room (#10)- I was unable to log online with 2 different devices. (WiFi access was available in lobby area) 2) While room was very nice for the price, mattress was below average for comfort.

The location was great, just next to the Old Town Square, we could walk to all the great locations; the 3days-pass we bought was pretty useless except for going to the airport

We could hear people walking in the room upstairs like they were in our room!! The bed was confortable but it makes a terrible noise every time you move! The hotel staff wasn't very friendly.

The location was amazing. It is right on the old town square and is also close enough to Charles bridge and the castle. We went during the Christmas markets and you literally walk outside into the beautiful magical square. The restaurant staff was so so amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The room is so beautiful.

Not really a complaint but if you are planning a trip during the Christmas markets ask for a room away from the street as the festivities carry on till quite late so people on the street can be quite noisy.

We loved the location and atmosphere of the Hotel Cerny Slon. We had only one night to spend in Prague and it was a perfect location and atmosphere. The staff was also very helpful in planning out sightseeing.

No elevator. Hotel is old fashioned style, but also about to become outdated. WiFi didn't work well in our room.
