Hotel Rott is centrally located on the historic Male Namesti (Little Square), next to the famous Old Town Square. It has elegant, air-conditioned rooms and a modern restaurant.

Score from 2048 reviews Excellent
The decor and the atmosphere of the building were exciting. The location was very central, right by the cathedral
The staff weren't particularly helpful or friendly
The Location and the charm of an old residence Excellent breakfast
Fantastic location. Excellent staff. Ok breakfast.
No wifi in our room, only in the lobby. No lift but not that many stairs to climb.
Location, decoration, friendly and helpful staff
Noise from people in the streets at night
Great location, good breakfast
no stairs, and if you have the window open, a little load at nights
Place and location is perfect. A real romantic hotel.
Internetline is bad. But we assume that it is the czech internettoperater and not the router in hotel which is to blame. Breakfast is middle. To get croissant is like a lottery.
Fantastic location and attractive building and decor. Enjoyed everything
The hotel is just next to the old town square and near to the metro station Staroměstská. The building has a traditional style with a very nice atmosphere and is renovated, clean and air-conditioned. Staff is very kind and nice. Breakfast is fine.
There is no lift. Wifi was not available when I stayed there.
Location is excellent, nice to stay in a historical and beautiful building
Poor breakfast, not good enough hygiene, access to internet impossible in rooms.
Location! So close to the old town square! Airconditioning in the room. Clean bathroom with good facilities Large Room for three people.
No lift but we managed just fine.
The best location in Prague, excellent staff are so helpful and will assist with snything you ask of them.
Could do with tea making facilities in room but not a major issue.
Fantastic location. Nice room and very good service.
The bed was not very comfortable as we had two single mattresses on a double bed. Admittedly we did not complain but we were only staying for one night.
Beautiful hotel right on the main square of Prague.
Some rooms are noisy at night due to their proximity to the street.
Location Some staff are very nice and know English well. Nice small business area for internet and smoking in the ground floor. Has a restaurant but didn't try it.
Some other staff are not nice and have no idea what to do in case a complicated decision has to be made like to extend the checkout time or money exchange. No Lift Same rate for the type of rooms but you may have different facilities in each like hair dryer, extra toilet washer/seat and extra room space.
The location, staff, rooms.
I travel for a living and I can tell you that this was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The noise never stopped. Loud talking and yelling all night long. There is no air conditioning in this hotel so you have to open the windows. When you do....all you hear is noise from outdoor diners and the peope in main square which is around the corner. I didn't sleep for 2 nights.
Very noisy even late into the night combined with no air conditioning made sleep difficult.
excellent location right in the centre of Prague. Walking distance of all the main attractions. My single room seems so spacious due to the really high ceiling, that by the way was painted. I felt like i wa in my grandma's house and it was lovely. Not one of the other standard hotel room. And not too noisy despite being on the first floor and with view on the street. Worth every penny
We liked the size of the rooms (we had two) and the location. Down a side street off the old town Square. The staff were more than helpful (except for one ) ,the breakfast was terrific and the dinner in the restaurant was delicious.
The climb to the top floor was a bit much with or without the suitcase and older legs. The night revelry was loud under the window however after a full day of sightseeing sleep came fast.
Everything was awful except the breakfast and the waitress. Prague was a big disappointment. Go there only if you want to be almost always drunk because of beer!
Excellent location, in the heart of Prague, steps from Old Town Square. It is located in a lovely courtyard, surrounded by ancient constructions that give you the feeling of stepping into the past. It is surprisingly low key though in a few feet you will find mobs of tourists gawking at Old Town Square's beauty. The room was large and spacious (so was the bathroom) and i had a lovely view of the courtyard below. Breakfast is included and very nicely served. The hotel itself is quaint and very charming. I would recommend it to friends.
The biggest issue was no air conditioning in my room. I was there in June and it was very warm and though i would leave the windows open during the day i could not do that at night because of the morning noise. The hotel has no elevator and no one offered help with my luggage. The staff was quite dull, zero emotion, zero smiles and very dry & matter of fact. I would walk in from the street and most of the times they would not even lift their eyes from the computer. They spoke only basic english. One day i asked to exchange dollars into korunas (a service they offer) and the girl said i would get a better deal through an exchange office (which is untrue - they will all rip you off with absurdly high commissions - best to use an ATM). She could care less as she was more interested in checking her Facebook account which was open on her computer.
Location! Location! Location! I spent six nights in The Hotel which is part of a gorgeous old building dating back to the 14th century. It is just off the Old Town Square, a bustling focal point filled with an array of buskers, dancers & various other entertainers as well a huge selection of cafés. It's such an easy and rewarding city to walk around and the hotel is centrally located to most of the top attractions & shopping areas. The breakfast buffet has an average selection of what you'd expect from a breakfast... They do offer a wonderful dinner menu with a host of traditional dishes, the duck was very good.
I honestly wouldn't grade this hotel as a 4star as it claims to be, I'd say it offers 3 star service.... The breakfast was often not replenished if I happened to arrive after the "masses" (9 am) - my request for bacon or eggs was not met with enthusiasm even though they advertise breakfast service until 10.30. Wifi in my room was intermittent to say the least, I was advised to bring my device to the lounge (smoking!!!!!
Good location. Easy to get around
Very noisy, too many people walking around, especially at night after midnight.
The best location. Nice room. Excellent breakfast. Polite staff.
Lovely hotel in a historic building with authentic feel. Not a luxurious one, but you have everything you need. Room is spacious, and nicely decorated. Breakfast was also fine. I loved spending time in my room with the windows open in a sunny day, planning my walks around Old Town.
