In the center of Prague overlooking the famous bridge, close to Prague Castle, the Archibald at the Charles Bridge is in a great location.

Hotel Rott is centrally located on the historic Male Namesti (Little Square), next to the famous Old Town Square. It has elegant, air-conditioned rooms and a modern restaurant.
Score from 1421 reviews Excellent
The bathroom was not as clean as it could have been, the central heating was not working properly, which made the corner room quite cold.
Lot of stairs but since it's a traditional hotel it's very understandable:) Poor lights but it's very common everywhere in Prague
Location was fantastic. The hotel was simple but comfortable and had everything you need.
Some of the staff were not very friendly. For a small hotel you would expect a personal touch. That was missing.
Excellent location! Nice room with period features. Friendly and helpful staff! Very cosy little hotel!
Only a few yards from the main square. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and very good and the breakfasts were amazing.
The stairs were very steep but this is inevitable in a 14th century building! I guess installing a lift will require a lot of surveys and involve a lot of planning regulations. The lighting in the room was exceptionally low - hard to read, even with every light on! Some of the reception staff and one breakfast waitress were quite surly and reluctant to help, but they were all very efficient.
This was our first visit to Prague, our son had stayed at Cerny Slon several years ago and had recommended it to us,we were not dissapointed, nice friendly staff, wonderful room with fantastic wooden beams, nice breakfast.cant wait to stay again when we visit this spectacular city.
Fantastic location just walking distance to Prague Old Town Square, fascinating historical building dating from 13th Century, spotlessly clean, delicious food, friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Just a couple of points to beware, hotel location is difficult to find especially by car so plan route well before you go. Also our room was on the second floor and although we are fairly fit we found the stairs a struggle!
The hotel is located in a charming old house. A perfect location among spectacular historical surroundings. In spite of the location, the room was surprisingly quiet. The restaurant is very cozy and offers a good selection of wines. If you have a sweet tooth like me, try the cute small Czech pastry that they serve for breakfast - it's delicious!
Great Hotel. Strongly recommend. Excellent breakfast. Excellent service.
Dinner quality was average.
The location of this hotel was great - right in the middle of Old Town Prague. The staff was wonderful and the room had all the amenities one could ask for.
The only thing I can think of that could be better is having an elevator installed. It was quite cumbersome having to drag my suitcase up the stairs to the 2nd floor.
Great location & staff were extremely helpful. With tours & advice.
No lift, need to carry luggage up the stairs. Not a problem for us as we travel light, but something to consider if you have a lot of luggage.
location is excellent, staff helpful, breakfasts good
when hotels say they will only change towels if left on floor they should stick to that rule
Staff, location, food (onsite dining room with breakfast buffet included, dinner there was wonderful), towel warmer and large bathroom
wi-fi spotty, room facing street noisy at 2 am, double bed separate mattresses
Maria at the reception desk was very helpful.
Restaurant staff very rude!
Just 16 rooms, we had the most beautiful room, albeit it on the 4th floor, with small balcony. Huge number of dark beams in the high ceiling room! Breakfast was good and restaurant in the hotel was convenient for food or a glass of wine. some staff were wonderful- others were curt and not helpful
We were in room #16 on the 4th floor of this, lovely old hotel. stairs were steep and would like an elevator or man to carry heavy luggage up. Outside was noisy, very noisy til all hours of the night but by closing the windows, the noise could be almost shut out entirely.
Location, Staff, Charming building and public rooms, Comfort of my room and furnishings, cleanliness. Restaurant was also very pleasant and media room with computer access was a welcome surprise. Everything far exceeded even my hopeful expectations! Thank you Hotel Cerny Slon!
wifi didn't work in my room (but did work in hallway outside my door and in restaurant); small bar closed down early. All small matters.
Close to old square and most attractions. Pleasant breakfast.
No lift. Noisy. No hot water first morning. Shower leaked to room below. We were sent to closed down laundromat. No apologies for any of above.
The place is great, the very city centre. Rooms in the hotel have lots of space (even single rooms), interior is very nice - modern classics. The staff is helpful.
Minor difficulties with wi-fi. Noise outside the windows during the night (important for sensitive sleepers)
The decor and the atmosphere of the building were exciting. The location was very central, right by the cathedral
The staff weren't particularly helpful or friendly
The Location and the charm of an old residence Excellent breakfast
Fantastic location. Excellent staff. Ok breakfast.
No wifi in our room, only in the lobby. No lift but not that many stairs to climb.
Location, decoration, friendly and helpful staff
Noise from people in the streets at night
Great location, good breakfast
no stairs, and if you have the window open, a little load at nights
Place and location is perfect. A real romantic hotel.
Internetline is bad. But we assume that it is the czech internettoperater and not the router in hotel which is to blame. Breakfast is middle. To get croissant is like a lottery.
