Score from 498 reviews Very good
Great location, only a short walk from the train station. Also a walking distance to all points of interest in old Prague. I emailed them for a car request to the airport at very early in the morning, they gave quick and detailed response. Make sure the arrangement, including the payment, was convenient for us.
location and price and people working there breakfast wast good too
all was good
I liked everything about the hotel: location (just opposite the main railway station), wi-fi connection, breakfast, room facilities, staff's friendliness.
Comfy bed, close to train station, wonderful staff will organise tours with pick up
Would have loved bacon with breakfast
The location was wonderful, although signage was difficult to find versus other hotels in the area.
cleaning each day was lacking, very minimal.
We were stranded at the train station and this is right across the street. Very friendly, helpful, and sympathetic staff, both night and day. Newly remodeled and comfortable. Good breakfast.
The wifi had just been redone but was sporadic. They will work on it more. The staff let me use their computer to book our flight and print our boarding passes.
Good location. Only 3 minutes walk from central train station. Reasonable breakfast but can be inprove. No doubt it's very near to train station but is very quiet so can have good sleep. Reception staffs very polite and helpful. A very clean and pleasant interior.
I suggest the management can replace the sofabed which is not stable and uneven. My daughter complaint unable to sleep well and lower back pain in the next morning.
Right in front of the Train station!!! Good location for me!!! Walking distance to all attractions. I was able to check out late!! The included breakfast was good!!!!
Literally everything. I highly recommend this hotel. I traveled with my brothers and I just wouldn't expect the room could be so huge for 3 ppl. The stuff were very helpful. The facilities were decent. The location was good. Breakfast not too bad. Sofa bed for the third person was acceptable.SPACIOUS!
NTH. We liked everything!
Staff was very helpfull!! Wifi was great, TV and excelent breakfast, so much to choose from and fresh fruits and vegetables!
Staffs of hotel are very kind and also place is in very nice condition to train station which can be useful tourists with many luggages
Don't book a room on the roof top. Lots of noice from water system can disturb your night
The Chopin Hotel is a 1 or 2 minute walk from the main train station, when you walk out of the train station walk across the park and you will be there. The hotel is in walking distance to everything and once you have used a map once, you won’t need it anymore, it is pretty easy to find your way around. If you want a cheap quality meal in very typical surroundings go across the road ( up about a block or so to the right) and you will see a restaurant called Mona Lisa (same street the hotel is in). The food was good and the waitress was lovely. Dining in the old town square is also fun, the food is a little dearer and so are the drinks, but still cheap compared to Australian prices. The hotel looked liked it had been renovated, the room looked very new as well as the bathroom. If you are a non smoker don’t forget to ask for a non smoking room and if you are a couple don’t forgoet to ask for a double bed. The only negative is the breakfast. Considering the food is pretty cheap in Prague, I felt they were a bit tight on variety and the so called fruit juice was coloured water. Prague is inexpensive so I thought the breakfast could have been better.
Right next to the train station Clean Good wifi
Reception had given room to someone else who checked in under my name and was then upset with me
The service was very nice and practical, the breakfast exactly what most people like, the rooms nice and very clean, like all the hotel Most places of interest in the old town are in walking distance. The free Wi-Fi worked very well with my tablet.
The day before we left the elevator broke down, and because of a national holiday it could not be repaired in a short time, with a room on the 5e floor.... the staff did everything they could to help, but climbing to the 5e floor after a day of walking in the town is really hard. May be they have to think of asecond elevator/
All the staffs are very helpful! We lost a luggage and the staff was helpful to help us to call airline and found out the status for us. The location is excellent since it is so close to the main train station. The Airport Express bus stops outside the train station and the hotel is just across it. The breakfast is good.
The Hotel Chopin is very close to the Main Train Station. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. The room and bathroom are clean, the beds firm and comfortable. WiFi is available. All in all, perfect for a train traveller's needs. Would definitely stay there again.
This hotel is located in front of the main train station with easy access to the tram, subway and main attractions. The staff was super helpful and accommodating and the hotel in general very comfortable with good size rooms.
I would like to see a better selection of hot food items in the breakfast menu.
Its just 5-10 mins walk from station Very much walkable to most of the attractions, we used tram only for Castle area They sell travel ticket in reception so you dont need to worry about buying ticket from somewhere else, I think the day ticket is the best option Since its easy walk to Old Town you have lot of options to drink and eat near old town Breakfast was good No problem with bed or washroom, everything worked perfect and room was big enough with a small couch and table Since its close to station dont expect any great view from your window or balcony, you will see the station :)
They had started heater in first week of Oct but unfortunately it was not that cold and you dint had option to select cooling as they have centralized cooler/heater We had to keep window open but its bit noisy at night as you are close to road, station and garden Also remember if you feel you dont need heater then dont forget to switch it off when you go out because its not controlled by main key switch so if you are already feeling hot and if you leave heather on then your room will be a oven when you come back to room (this happened with us as we dint knew its not controlled by main key switch) :( Anyways I dont think this should be a big issue now as its cold
Located just across the park to Hlavní Nádraží. Easy walk to historic center. Well renovated, modern-feel hotel, with a good lift and breakfast room. Relatively spacious rooms and modern en-suite.
The rooms on the inside of the hotel have a covered hallway, and where the room service kept their service cart, right against the window of the room. The hallway creates for a fairly dark room. Also, if you open the windows, anyone in the hallway could easily get into the room, so you might not feel comfortable opening the window. But, the room was overheated, and our room aircon only heated, no matter what temp setting.
A location is very convenience for traveller. Only 2 minutes walk from Prague Main Station and take about 10 minutes to town centre. Many facilities and breakfast are offered to guests. Staff is very helpful with various information. Really recommend this one.
Wifi is not a good signal.
Everything about the hotel was professional from the initial reception to the cleanliness and preparation of my room which was a double for single use. It overlooked the side street so it was quiet and you could have the window open at night. It is right opposite the beautiful new railway station. The breakfast was good, the wifi was excellent and really I couldn't fault the hotel except I would have liked better fruit at breakfast. Highly recommended and will go again for sure.
I don't eat apples but that's a personal thing!
Newly furnished, well smelling, strong and fast wifi signal.
Deposit for iron.
Very close to main railway station. Staffs are nice. Room is clean with modern design. Feel comfortable when I entered the room. But the air conditioner seems to be not working (maybe due to it is autumn) and the room is quite hot and not ventilating. A window is located between my room and a private corridor. It is easy to climb out from window and enter another rooms if the widows is not closed. Breakfast is nice.
Tourist attractions within good walking distance. Room was a good size and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff Good value for money. Would stay there again and recommend it to others
Almost in front of the train station, therefore easy 3 minute walk through a park (dragging 3 pieces of luggage along). We arrived 7am on Sunday via sleeper train from Krakow, Poland, therefore the short walk was very appreciated. The hotel had no issues with us storing our luggage in their holding room as our check-in was not due till 2pm. We dropped off our bags and went off walking around the city, which was close by too. When we returned at about 1pm, our room was already waiting for us. When we discovered that the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke (from some previous inconsiderate disobeying guest), the hotel had no issues assigning us another room at once, with apologies. The bed is large, comfortable and clean. The room is sufficiently spacious and we can even smell the cleanliness. Even though we were on the second floor, there was no noise issues from either the street nor the train station. There was also a computer in the lobby for guests to use (free), very convenient indeed! The included breakfast was also very good, with a wide selection. The reception was very helpful in booking us a taxi to the airport as well. Check-out was completely smooth as this was a prepaid deal - you just need to pay a very negligible tourist tax when you leave. Everything was nice and easy.
No complaints. Will recommend to others and will stay again.
