friendly staff, great varied breakfast, nice room, very close to the metro stop and trams, 7 min walk to Wenceslas Square, many trips and concerts can be booked at reception
there can be fruit for breakfast
It's located near metro stration (less than 5 minutes walking distance). You reach the city center in about 15min from the hotel by metro. The rooms are clean and spatious, looks like they were renovated not so long ago. Bathroom se clean and big, you get fresh towels daily. The personel was friendly. There's free wireless internet in the lobby.
Our room was positioned above a noisy street, so if you like sleeping with an open window, that was not an option. The breakfast was kind of basic, but fresh, and there was enough to eat, even if some dishes weren't replaced (for example we ran out of scrambled eggs).
Very good location, good price, helpful receptionist
The bed was not comfortable, I got a bit of back ache in the morning. Very low water pressure, takes long time to shower or simply wash hands. Worst breakfast I have seen, I didn't even bother staying in the breakfast hall once seen the what they had. It was very poor.
The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Friendly staff at the reception. Value for money.
THe breakfast was not that good.Scrambled egg was not even warm and boiled eggs were not fresh.Sausages were not tasty at all.
Location and surroundings.
Not so many Parking spaces.
Near by the city
No parking is available
The hotel was noisy at night, next to a lap dancing club. The room was not cleaned to a high standard and the breakfast was poor
We first made our reservation in this hotel, near the main arteries of Prague, because location was our major concern as tourists. Once we got there, the lady at the reception, quite unfriendly and even rude and arrogant, told us we had to go to another hotel "of the same owner", bacause of some "technical problems". She didn't explain any further or justified why our stay was not going to correspond to what we had reserved previously. That other hotel was farther from the center of Prague and, therefore, didn't match our needs as tourists. Poor breakfast. Poor cleaning. Bad quality wi-fi, only available for free in the public areas, with bad signal. Rude hotel staff. Don't recommend to anyone.
Location close to Wenceslas Square, value for money, nice breakfast, helpful staff.
We were in the ground floor room next to the nightclub/strip club. Consequently we had banging bass beats until 6 am. Fortunately we were travelling to watch MotoGP so had earplugs readily available. The strange thing is our friends 3 doors down didn't hear a thing??
The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The breakfast has a large choice of food. The hotel is perfectly located, a few steps from the tube. People at reception speak good english
The tv colours were deficient, the air conditioning was not working and the shower was leaking on the floor. Only 4 car parkings.. Not enough for all the guests with a car
excellent staff - very friendly and helpful, 24 hour front desk, nice pubs nearby, walking distance to many attractions and very close to public transport
no free wifi in rooms
the bathroom was clean and nice the hotel was okay for it's money, but there are improvements to be made in details.
one of the plug sockets was broken and there was no central lighting. towels weren't very appealing, toilet lid was loose
It's location is the best, and has a really good price. The breakfast was really good. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was always clean and neat. I recommend it to everyone who wants a hotel at a really good location.
The wi-fi is charged in the rooms (per day, per device), it was much better to go downstairs to the lobby if we wanted to use the net. Sadly, the air conditioning system did not work in our rooms - it was only bad because we were on the highest floor, with a slanted roof, where it got hot pretty soon. -
Nice people, fair breakfast (but nothing exceptional), possibility to park in front of the hotel (appreciable in dowtown Prague!), cleanliness was Ok. Free wifi in the lobby, where there are chairs and tables...
Noisy street (4 lanes one way!), good phonic isolation but no good possibility to ventilate the room and when ventilated a lot of pollution intered the room (we were on the 1st floor directly on the street, room for 3 people) Old style design
Close to tram and metro station. Breakfast was okay.
There was no wifi in the rooms. Air conditioner was broken and the windows couldnt be open. Stuff was unfriendly. Price-service was unbalanced.
Nothing at all.
My GOD!!! This hotel is absolutly awful... Everything smell very bad : the bed cover, the carpet, the hallway, the restaurant, the dishes. The food for breakfast was poor in quality and choice (who doesn't have toaster and hot milk in 2014) and the bowl for cereal was 1/2cm deep... How would you pour milk over the cereal. The towel and bed sheets were not clean and had stains on them. The bathroom was not clean good and the soap not filled. In conclusion, this hotel name should be changed to SKUNK HOTEL instead of city.
I was prohibited to use my laptop on the area of free WiFi in the hotel.
Comfortable although not very spacious room. Very close to a subway station. Easy to reach the main touristic attractions. Wi-Fi worked well in the common areas.
Poor and not tasteful breakfast. We need to pay to use the safe box in the room.
i like : -the staff services -location -cleanliness
-small room,it was very narrow for two persons. -room is very hoot.
No free wifi in the bedroom
Newly renovated lobby. Fine breakfast with musli, cereal, yogurt, sausages, cheese, bread, eggs, juice etc. about 20 min walk to the Charls bridge and old town. Some rooms have AC some don't. Clean renovated bathrooms
Location and everything is good in general.
1/ Wi-Fi close to reception only 2/ There is heavy traffic on the street outside the hotel and it's very noisy day and night !!
The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from a metro station. Next to it there is a money changing place (with good rates) and a few convenience stores. The breakfast was OK, no more and no less. The wifi signal was good and we even had free wifi in our room.
The hotel is off-center and its about 10-15 minutes walk to Wenceslas square and about 30 minutes to Old town square.
Good location and breakfast
Too dusty, wifi didn't work properly
The bathroom has been very comfortable. The price was awesome.
The location was not so close to the city.
