great location good price
breakfast was OK but there could be more choice or varied each day
Actual breakfasts with protein served every morning, helpful staff (the woman at the front desk was very kind), great location.
Tyne ceiling of the top floor is very low for half the room and I hit my head several times.
There was a beautiful view from my room.
The receptionist was originally quite surly and rude to me when I was checking in, in the days after that the other receptionist was quite aloof, always glaring at me as I walked past, etc.
The roof over our heads.
The room was pretty dirty. I am a pretty easy going traveler but I didn't want to shower in the hotel. Free wi-fi is only in the lobby of the hotel. Staff was pretty abrupt upon our arrival. Lots of noise from other travelers.
Proximity of the city centre. Good value for money.
Small place and the 3 bed wasn't a bed. Was more as a supplement...
The hotel is really badly checked. The reception is in the 2nd floor. When you arrived at the hotel you just ring and someone open the door without even aswer. There are cameras but literally EVERYBODY could ring and come in. The zone is full of drunk people and homeless. one night we also bumped into a drunk man who was peeing right outside the hotel, basically on the stairs outside (and the staff let him do it). the day after we rang and they opened the door but we hadnt been able to take the lift because drunk people INSIDE the hotel that were messing around with the lift (going up and down and insulting people - like us) and OF COURSE the staff didn't notice (that's funny, because they were doing a lot of noise) because the recepition is in the 2nd. (THE MAIN ENTRANCE IS FLOOR 0 and there's NONE checking). These drunk people were also thowing up on the stairs so we tried to go outside to call the staff so we rang and rang and rang and tried to talk to the intercom and of course NOBODY aswered so we were forced to go around the city and come back later when those people were away from the lift. REALLY REALLY awkward. I'm not going to recommend this hotel to someone because the good position is not enough. It's absolutely not worth all that mess.
Close to center, good breakfast
Very squeaky wooden floor. We had our room on corner of hall so we heard everyone passing by during the night because of the wooden floor under carpet. Very small, old basement windows in our room, broken vent, very small bathroom, uncomfortable bed, noisy street under our window..
Room was very comfortable. Close to train and major city sights.
Very noisy groups of students who appeared to be unsupervised. Thin walls meant snoring was heard from next door. Groups dominated the breakfast room taking up all the seating. These groups should be accommodated in a separate place in the hotel and their rooms all be together away from other guests.
Good location , loved the breakfast , the stuff were very helpfull , close to bus / metro station
Elevator very slow
Price was very reasonable for location Excellent breakfast Staff friendly and helpful
Tired furnishings No hairdryer in room No aircon
GREAT LOCATION, CLEAN, NICE BREAKFAST !
location value of what we paid
old facilities seems not clean, perhaps due to old furniture style
Walls were paper thin.
Near to the train station :)
Expensive with relation to the price and the quality of the breakfast, but not was to bad
not far away from old town square; staff are kind and warm.
WiFi signal is weak and slow. Facilities need improvements;
The hotel is located 200 meters far from the center, which means, apart from the ease with which you can reach the old square, even having everything next to you. The breakfast is good, plentiful and lasts 3 hours, plus it's included in the room price. They have a luggage room if you need it before the check in, and are usually really kind in giving you information
Some of the staff, even some receptionists, could neither speak english nor understand it; the room was less big then expected,
nice location, nice breakfast
The additional bed is not suitable for kid, My 2 years old son drop from the simple bed. The lift up to 3rd floor, the sleepy lady give us 4th floor. I have to carry up my stroller to the loft, very hot. A very noisy fan, 0,5㎡ bathroom without place to hold the shower-head. I won't came back
Location. Close to the train station. Breakfast is good enough.
Room was sooooo dirty. It seemed that they didn't vacuum for ages. So many hairs and dirty stains on the floor carpet and I even found some small bugs were crawling around. We were staying for only 1 night there to take the airport bus and we checked out early in the morning because we didn't want to stay even one more minute in that room.
The location was good, but my room overlooked the nearby train station, so it was a bit loud. The breakfast was adequate, except for the coffee, but that is often the case in Prague hotels! The breakfast room was spacious and generous - that was nice.
Although I had E-mailed the hotel a request for a somewhat earlier check-in, because I was arriving in Prague by bus from Germany at 7am after an all-night drive, they did not lift a finger to accomodate me. Not until I complained vociferously that I had never had a problem getting in to a room just a little earlier in Prague did the woman at the desk even lift a finger to request it of the housekeeping staff - and this was already at noon. Then, the room was loud, and the bed was so hard that I had to sleep on top of the feather comforters to keep from having joint pain. The coffee was undrinkable. I noticed many other small things that never would have bothered me, had I not been treated so ungraciously at the outset - the first impression can make a huge difference, as far as a guest's happiness is concerned!
Close to everything.
We were first put on the fourth floor in a room that was like an attic. It was boiling hot and there was only a small desk fan in the room. We asked to move rooms and they accommodated our request. It was a much bigger room and when we asked for a fan it was fine.
Perfect Location and the room was pretty cheap.
No Wifi.. Well, they charge for Wifi but I did not attempt to pay for it. There wasn't much of a variety at breakfast. The room wasn't very clean, a dirty tissue was left on the floor.
Great position, great wi-fi and breakfast! I strongly recommend this hotel!
The room was in the roof of the building and it was very warm at night. We would have preferred a better position of the room.
- preisguenstig - nice staff - perfect location close to old town, bus terminal and everything
- pretty old rooms, beds, carpets - breakfast rather basic - no wifi on rooms, only free in reception area. if you want it in your room, you have to pay extra! This is not adequate nowadays.
