City Hostel  

Price and number of hotel stars highly overrated.

The reception desk girls are very friendly and helpful

Facilities were dirty, the room was very hot as there is no air conditioning, it is very far from city center ( ok if you manage to ride the public transportation , and in that case the train is in front of the hotel). Difficul t get there - reference point is the shopping center futurum. If you see it on your left side, go immediately to the side road otherwise you will have to go a good way to make a turn in front of the shopping center.

Our stay at the city Hostel wasnt that bad! I had read the previous reviews and was a bit wary about it, but all in all not bad! It is a little noisy, depending on the room ou get because it is right by the motor way, but its not tooo bad, just bring some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper! The breakfast was nothing special but you could have as much as you like so you could just eat anything and everything! But yes all in all not bad!

There was a guy watching porn at the computers...... He wasnt a staff or anything he was a guest, but I think they should probably monitor what people are watching/doing on the computers.... (It was one of the 2 computers they had available for the guests)

- Price: we stayed in the block b in a double bedroom with common bathroom for ~550czk - Location: easy to find, 2 minutes from the tram stop - Staff: night receptionist was helpful, friendly with a correct English - Room: spacious, clean, comfortable beds

- Location: near a motorway, we could see and hear the traffic from the room - Staff (Receptionist): we received the keys for a room not cleaned without bed linen and garbage but hopefully the receptionist gave us the key for another (cleaned!) room within a second! - Staff (Cleaning Lady): she opened the door at 7am and closed it without any words (maybe it's linked with the fact mentioned below). Plus she was not really friendly when she came into the public bathroom before the check-out time. Hopefully I was not totally naked. - Public bathrooms: crap showers (it's not possible to change the temperature plus you have to heavily press the button every 5 seconds) - no key to lock the doors in the male toilets. And for the shower, please buy some shampoo holders, it costs nothing and it's really helpful. - Facilities: room was big but without anything except two chairs and one table - really small towels provided. - Wifi: mentioned on Booking.com to be included in the common rooms, however we were asked to pay when we wanted to use the Wifi at the reception couches (however staff understood and gave us a free login/password - thanks)!

Staff are very nice and supportive especially the receptionist.my next visit,I will book a room with city hostel.

viešbutis visiškai atitiko mūsų kaip tarpinės nakvynės poreikius.

Buvo problemų su viešbučio atradimu ir oficialiu pavadinimu. rezervacinėje sistemoje nurodytas oficialus jų adresas, o realiai viešbutis randasi kitokiu gatvės pavadinimu, bei iškaba yra trijų žvaigždžių hotel "City", kai mes ieškojome City hostel.

Gebucht waren 2 Doppelzimmer...untergebracht wurden wir im Hostel nebenan. Für das gebuchte Hotelzimmer sollten jeweils 12 € mehr bezahlt werden. Eine reine Bauernfängerei. Das Hostel selbst war dreckig und der verlangte Preis viel zu hoch.

levné ubytování, sice mimo centrum, ale zastávka tramvaje je před hotelem

Paní uklízečka to při úklidu se Savem trochu přehnala, tak jsme museli pokoj důkladně vyvětrat, ale jinak ok. Ubytovaní bych přirovnala s úrovní vysokoškolských kolejí.
