Received a warm welcome; bedroom was substantial size - extremely clean with nice modern en-suite and free mini-bar (though limited selection of beverages no snacks), decor wasn't entirely to my taste but in good state; breakfast buffet was fairly generous (though limited range of hot foods and fruit); lobby area with free internet and separate tv section with sofas was nice touch and had pleasant warm atmosphere. A good overall hotel: fairly decent standard for price, well located, quiet (tended towards an older clientale) and very safe. In contrast to the friendly day reception some of the night porters were a little brusque albeit efficient (I found this a common characteristic in Prague service). This is definitely not somewhere to go if you want a building environment with lots of character. I would have preferred not to have to leave/pickup keys at reception every time leave/entering hotel. |

The person at the front desk was terrific. I generally stay in more than a three star hotel but I like small hotels with friendly staffs. I learned alot about what to do etc. in Prague which I hadn't known before and I came from staying at a five star for three nights. The location of that hotel was out of town so I liked the walking distance of the Cloisters to everything. The beds were too low - about two feet off the ground which made it hard to get up and down. It was definitely decorated as a three star. |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with excellent English. They gave great recommendations with regard to cultural events in the area and were always eager to assist. I thought that the complimentary mini bar was a very nice touch upon arrival. There was plenty of variety at the buffet breakfast in the morning as well . Internet access in the lobby was a definite advantage too. The location was excellent, only a stroll from the National Theatre, Charles Bridge and Mustek metro station / Wencelas Square. The staff were some of the friendliest we encountered in our time in the Czech Republic. Thanks to all for a wonderful stay |

Staff were extremely helpful and were always able to answer any query. I was also assisted in printing bookings when I used the Internet. Rooms were very comfortable. Outside noises late at night from the street below and very early in the morning. |

Quiet area near good restaurants and beer gardens. Much less expensive than the city center (about 1/4 the price). Air conditioned room was great during hot nights. Complementary mini bar. |

Excellent location in centre of town, but still quiet rooms, good value for money. Although the room was acceptable, it is clear that the advert shows only the best rooms which you may not get. |
