Barceló Brno Palace  

The hotel has a perfect location in the center of Brno. The building dates back to the XIX century, but inside everything's new and trendy. Both room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable, well equipped. Breakfast was also very good and all the staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel and the rooms were stunning and very comfortable. Amazing rooms.

The girl on reception when we arrived was particularly unfriendly (although her colleagues made up for her abruptness by being very nice the following day!). One thing to be careful is that although the booking is guaranteed by Booking.com the hotel take your credit card and take a provisional payment including a €30 a day for the minibar. This is very strange and unusual especially as they ask you to sign the payment slip. Make sure when you check out you are paying the correct amount and that they cancel the provisional charge. The cost of the restaurant is top London prices!

Suitability of location, cleanliness and quality of food together with the friendliness and efficiency of the staff.

The complexity of the light switches in the bedroom also we would have preferred a mirror above the dressing table, a bright central bedroom light and a tea and coffee making facility in the bedroom

Very nice Breakfast with fresh Salads and fruits.

If you can add JSTV/Japanease TV Channel to the Service of TVs. I will stay again.

Wireless connectivity my room to the Internet was good. The room was quiet, the air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good and had a varied selection. It was all better than I expected, and as good as I could've hoped for. The hotel is situated very close to the city center, so it was quite convenient to get around to restaurants and shops, and it is also at a tram stop.

The desk chair was not comfortable to work from. The hotel lobby area was almost too quiet at the times I entered or exited the hotel, but I suppose that really isn't so bad.

Location was perfect. Very good breakfast.

I know its not a hotel for children...but maybe an option for a child to eat for dinner. otherwise i found the hotel excellent.

Bed too soft

We had a fabulous stay at the Hotel - the interior design was very striking compared to the traditional outside. We would certainly stay again.(May I just ask if my grandson left a grey hooded jacket in the hotel - he is 17 years of age)?

This is an excellent hotel in Brno. The staff and facilities are excellent. The hotel is about 1/2 mile from the Brno central train station, but there appears to be trams that run between the station and the hotel. The walk to the hotel from the station is mostly up hill.
