Barceló Brno Palace is gevestigd in het prestigieuze historisch pand Městský Dvůr aan het plein Šilingrovo in het hart van de stad. De Sint Petrus en Paulus-kathedraal, de burcht Špílberk en diverse andere geschiedkundige bezienswaardigheden liggen op slechts een steenworp afstand. U zult heerlijk slapen in de comfortabele, unieke kamers. Op aanvraag zijn er diverse soorten hoofdkussens beschikbaar. Sommige kamers zijn aan elkaar verbonden en vormen zo appartementen voor families. Vast internet is gratis in alle kamers. Het Palazzo Restaurant serveert verfijnde internationale gerechten die worden klaargemaakt met verse, seizoensgebonden producten. Het restaurant is dagelijks geopend voor lunch en diner. In het buffetrestaurant Stare Brno kunt u van 07:00 tot 10:00 genieten van het ontbijt. In de Lobby Bar Lounge kunt u heerlijk onstpannen. Er worden wijnen, cocktails en kleine hapjes geserveerd. Flexibele dienstverlening en een uitstekend ontbijt. Kamers waren zeer ruim en badkamer had zowel bad als aparte douche.

Alles,het hotel is prachtig ontworpen. Het is modern, luxe en heel apart. De kamers en het hotel zijn in zwart,zilver en wit uitgevoerd, Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heel goed internet en valet-parking. Het restaurant is meer dan goed (Franse keuken).Wij zouden dit geen 4 maar 5 sterren willen geven! Nee, je verwacht een dergelijk hotel niet in Brno.

The hotel has a perfect location in the center of Brno. The building dates back to the XIX century, but inside everything's new and trendy. Both room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable, well equipped. Breakfast was also very good and all the staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel and the rooms were stunning and very comfortable. Amazing rooms. The girl on reception when we arrived was particularly unfriendly (although her colleagues made up for her abruptness by being very nice the following day!). One thing to be careful is that although the booking is guaranteed by Booking.com the hotel take your credit card and take a provisional payment including a €30 a day for the minibar. This is very strange and unusual especially as they ask you to sign the payment slip. Make sure when you check out you are paying the correct amount and that they cancel the provisional charge. The cost of the restaurant is top London prices!

Unique design...a mixture of history and modern art, spotless clean, fresh and tasty food, good equipment, great location in the center of Brno, nice view from my room, kindness of the staff above all.

Suitability of location, cleanliness and quality of food together with the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The complexity of the light switches in the bedroom also we would have preferred a mirror above the dressing table, a bright central bedroom light and a tea and coffee making facility in the bedroom

The reception area is very spectacular. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel is geared around the single business traveller, not couples. The rooms were decorated in a 'batchelor' style decor with black, white and grey theme. The room we stayed 'Deluxe double' was very average, very small bed, small duvet cover not big enough for two people to share. The TV remote did not work properly and you could not play DVDs. The shower kept getting blocked. For the price we paid 111 Euros, we could have stayed elsewhere for 38 Euros with a much bigger room. All show and no substance. Disappointed.

Wireless connectivity my room to the Internet was good. The room was quiet, the air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good and had a varied selection. It was all better than I expected, and as good as I could've hoped for. The hotel is situated very close to the city center, so it was quite convenient to get around to restaurants and shops, and it is also at a tram stop. The desk chair was not comfortable to work from. The hotel lobby area was almost too quiet at the times I entered or exited the hotel, but I suppose that really isn't so bad.

Absolutely great hotel, I chose it mainly due to its reputation on booking.com and it was absolutely worth, great room, extremely good quality service, professional attitude by staff. If you are staying in Brno or simply passing by, you must go there, really very nice location.

We had a fabulous stay at the Hotel - the interior design was very striking compared to the traditional outside. We would certainly stay again.(May I just ask if my grandson left a grey hooded jacket in the hotel - he is 17 years of age)?
