Everything was perfect

It was close to the city, Parking in front of the hotel, in quiet street, big room for 4 people with kitchenette, very clean, in all a very fair price, a simple, small hotel but very clean and with all what you need for a short stay.

Breakfast and coffee was ok, could be better for our taste.

The suite we stayed in was perfect for the family with small children. The location on the edge of the center, but the street is very quiet. We could go on a stroll around the city center or at the castle hill directly from the hotel. Although the garage was reserved, we never needed it as free parking was always available on the street near the hotel (maybe we had luck). Breakfast was very good and although the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, there are plenty restaurants near the hotel to have lunch or dinner outside. Would come back any time I would visit Brno again solo or with the family.

Hotel Cyro is very centrally located to all the sites in Brno. It's a very modern, newly renovated hotel. The staff spoke great english and were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. It was a standard buffet that fit the bill if you're not looking for a big, hot breakfast. Some hot items on the menu every day. We got a suite for only 77 euro by booking early. There's also a great restaurant right across the street called Plamenek (which roughly translates to Pink Flamigo). They had great pasta and pizza as well as traditional czech food that was delicious.

The only hiccup was the first few days we were there, the building next door is being renovated so we had workers hammering and sawing at 7:30 in the morning. (We were 4/12-4/23/2012) Our room didn't have full length mirror in it. Hard to know what a girl looks like, eh...

Location was good. Staff on reception on the whole were friendly and helpful. Free wifi in the bedrooms was a must for us and this was one of the main reasons we stayed in this hotel.

The rooms were in need of a serious clean. Dust/dirt all over everything and the floors needed to be cleaned properly. Bed clothes were not changed for the week we stayed in this hotel! The hotel should advise customers that major renovation building works have started on the building next door. This means that there is drilling and banging from circa 7am all day! We complained a couple of times about this but the hotel staff didnt seem to know what to say other than there was nothing they could do. For this reason we would not return to this hotel at least until the building works have been complted on the adjacent building.

The hotels no-refund policy caught me out. They take payment in advance and if you change your plans there is no option to get a refund.

Good location 10 minute walk from the city. Lovely hotel , staff very helpfull, Breakfast offers good value for money.. Newly refurbished rooms, very clean and confortable.

Location is good.

We couldn't check in by the arrival at our quadripple deluxe room. The hotel staff gave us keys for a room with no other furniture despite 6 beds and called it quadripple deluxe. The hotel staff was telling us, that they have no other rooms at all. However, after long arguing with the staff we were showing them photos of their rooms in the web page of the hotel. Finally we were moved into better room, real quadripple. Be careful during checking in and persistent with the staff.

Good location, very clean rooms and pleasant staff

Breakfast was excellant, the 3 person room was perfect (aside from twin beds for my husband and I...lol) and we had a seperate kitchen and bathroom area. Large room, secure hotel. Secure parking as well!

Smoking in the main lobby was my only complaint! But most places in Czech still allow smoking.
