Score from 926 reviews Very good
The size of the room was spacious with high ceilings. The bed was a king size. The towels seemed new and soft. The staff, Mark and Angelica (spelling) were extremely helpful to orient us to Prague, suggest sights to see and recommend restaurants. I can't say enough about their personal attention to their guests. A fan was provided in the room which we used. Instant coffee and tea were available in the common area. Glasses and utensils were there too.
Our room faced the street which was a bit noisy since we needed to leave the window open due to the weather. There should have been glasses (real or plastic) on the room. Luckily there were glasses in the common area.
Room was quiıte big and clean. Location was perfect. Many bars and restaurants around. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Thank you to Karolina:-)
a little bit noisy during night
I have nothing but praise for the service of the receptionist (Karolina, I think?). She was a really lovely and friendly presence throughout our stay and offered us a wealth of helpful information/ recommendations for the city on arrival. This really can make all the difference when you arrive somewhere unfamiliar. We felt immediately at ease. Very centrally located but also boasts great public transport links should you need them (tram 22 stops very close by). The building looks very plain, even run down, from the outside, but don't be put off...The inn itself is furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Very modern and comfortable. It's on the 2nd floor but there is a lift to use. The facilities at the Dahlia Inn are first rate. Free wifi, use of two computers, a printer and a landline, free tea and coffee (and a great selection of tea, which my boyfriend very much appreciated!). Table and chairs in the main area, lots of books. Room was no. 4 - great! Modern/arty decor, spacious, perfectly clean. A hanging rail for your clothes, sofa, a couple of chairs and a desk. A mini fridge, a safe, a fan! Small things but they make a big difference. Good sized TV too…bathroom had really nice aesthetic and was the biggest we had on our trip. Really good size. It came with 2 hair dryers and a shampoo/shower gel combo in case you're not bringing your own toiletries. In summary, would heartily recommend. It's the kind of place that makes running a hotel and providing a first class service look really easy and for a great price! Excellent value. :)
Be aware that you need to let the inn know your arrival time in advance. We hadn't realised this as we had missed their emails/call (junk mail filter!), so when we got there the receptionist was away and we had to kill a few hours and come back. She does always leave a note on the buzzer though, so at least we knew what time to return!
Fabulously equiped cosy hotel Very modern and 100% clean Situated in the very centre of Prague, not more than 5minutes of walking from the St Wenceslav Square Awesome offer of drinks included Very friendly and helpfull reception Me and my husband have the best experience and we really reccomend the Dahlia Inn to all of you ;)
Mark (the front desk) was extremely helpful and welcoming! He was full of great suggestions and made himself readily available to help us with anything!
Very helpful staff, clean and pretty room
Wonderful service by Karoline! We loved the booklet in our room providing practically everything we needed to know. Karoline also personalized a map for us, showing us everywhere to go and how to get there. Great private bathroom, TV, and safety deposit box. Felt very safe, too.
Location really good, clean and modern rooms, great staff. Included tea and coffee.
We had a bit problem with the Wifi, to have connection we had to change to the different routers that the hotel has.
- Mark and Caroline are very kind and helpful - simple, clean, very functional - comfortable bed and high quality bedding - excellent value for money
- it would be nice to have a larger common area to lounge outside your room
Mark was AMAZING. He was by far the best and most helpful person we met at all the hotels/apartments we stayed on our trip. He told us where to go, what to see and what to do and all his suggestions were spot on. He also speaks perfect English so if you're worried about that, don't be. If you have any questions and he's working ASK. He was the best. We even had to extend our stay one night for logistical reasons and he made it work. The location is close enough to walk to old town and to Wenceslas Square and a block from the subway if you want to use that. The rooms are nice and the bathroom was the biggest one by size we stayed in in Europe. There's no AC as they state, but they do provide a fan. We didn't partake in the tea or breakfast so I can't comment on that. Overall a really pleasant experience
Only downside is the Wifi, but it was a really minimal complaint.
The staff was the biggest highlight. Owner Mark and employee Caroline were extremely helpful and personal! You couldn't ask for better hotel staff! The room was very clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom. There was free coffee and tea for guests.
I liked everything.
Good location - very near the Old Town and the main train station Friendly and helpful staff Clean and spacious room with interesting type of furniture Unlimited free coffee and tea
Welcoming, friendly. Good value.
A bit dark on entry before the lights came on. Breakfast too late at 0900.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well decorated, highly recommended!
Excellent host who was extremely friendly and helpful. Accommodation very good value for money. Just 8 rooms made it quite intimate. Very well placed for the tram, the train station and the 3 metro lines.
A bit far from Town Hall Square. A little noisy at night if your room is at the front.
Marc at reception was really helpful,well-decorated rooms,a value for money hotel, only 10 minutes walk from center-Old town.
The receptionist is so nice! He introduced us great tour route and restaurant which made us have a short but satisfying tour in Prague!Besides, the facilities are tidy and comfortable! We definitely will come again!
Friendly & helpful staff
Tea and coffee station in the hall; modern design; good value for money; fast connection to the centre/river/train station (tram, tube, by foot).
Window looks out in a very narrow inner yard (not a problem for a short stay); The non-smoker room smelled a bit of cigarettes (probably, fault of previous guests).
The room was clean, staff friendly and helpful.
Wifi- quite unpredictable and slow connection.
Good price - quality, clean rooms, quiet neighborhood 15 min walk to the sightseeings and very close to metro station. The breakfast for 4 euro was quite good talking into consideration the quality of breakfast in Prague for the same amount of money.
The heating wasn't on during the day and although we met good weather, the rooms were quite chilly at night. No wardrobes in the rooms just some shelves, no extra blankets.
Friendly and helpful staff who, good location- fairly simple to get to the old town and castle by tram, great value for money, clean... Provides everything that I look for when I travel solo. It was perfect!
Great Staff.Mark is a very helpful outgoing guy . And Tereza is the cutest girl in all prague. Both are speak english fluently. Very Clean and kind of large rooms. Location is good only 15 minutes walk to tyn church. Prices are very affordable. For a moment we thought to rent a room for our car instead of a parking place.
It was a little bit chilly at night. Reception is not open 24 hours
We really liked the owner of the Dahlia Inn, Mark, who was happy to give useful recommendations and was supportive in any kind of way. Also, the location of the accommodation was really cool. It wasn't in the middle of the city centre, but the surrounding felt safe, authentic and everything was easily accessible through a short ride with Tram 22. We would definitely come back!
