We liked the relaxed atmosphere and the efficient, helpful and friendly staff. Our en-suite room was light and airy with a comfortable bed and good facilities. Breakfast was always nicely presented with a good choice available. The Scottish Bar in the basement has a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, a good place to wind down in the evenings. Importantly, no sounds from the bar intrude into the bedroom areas. This is a basic pension hotel which easily met all our requirements without being extravagant. We would have no hesitation in both staying at the hotel again and recommending it to others.

The parking facilities are a little restricted and could possibly be difficult during busy periods.
