The Reception staff were extremely helpful and kind. They were all fluent with English which made it easy to communicate. The Room was larger than most European rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Breakfast was typical European with plenty to choose from. Location was fantastic - right in the centre of the new town of Prague - close to transport, shops and not far to walk to the old town square. I highly recommend this hotel as it was well priced for anyone on a budget yet clean and comfortable The smoking...!!! Our room was non smoking however when leaving the room the hallways, lift, reception and stairwell were filled with smoke or someone was smoking.. most unpleasant!!!

Located centrally is ideal for city sightseeing. Specious rooms. Acceptable breakfast. Hotel is located in rather not prestigious shopping center. Although rooms are quite big, they are rather un-cozy. Strong 3 stars' hotel.

I did not like at all this hotel. Although it has 4 stars, I would give them maximum 2 stars. The rooms were not clean. The second day, there was no towel in the room, when I called the reception to ask for towel; they told me" we can not send you at the moment, if you want come and take the towel yourself" This is "4 stars" hotel. They dont deserve the price they ask.

The hotel is conviniently situated in the very heart of the city, close to the major sightseeings of the Old City. There are several big shopping malls around the hotel, so it is very suitable for shopping. The rooms are allmost soundproof despite the fact that the hotel is located in the shopping centre and on the crowded square. Good value for money. The hotel charges for the deposite box and there no free wi-fi in the rooms except for the hotel lobby.

Good location: city center, but quietly. Good breakfast. Good price. The room was stuffy. There were no chairs and armchairs. Bathroom was spacios, but uncomfortable. There was no hair conditioner. Technical stuff (for example, in dining room) was not so friendly.

We paid fair price for this hotel in the main spot of Prague. We used parking of this hotel. Also metro is almost front of the hotel. We stayed on 3rd floor and we had comfortable rooms with excellent beds. Breakfast was served at lobby level-there nothing to complain-the variety of food was sufficient. If you would like to have fun in the area of theatres, cinemas, restaurants ..go here ,everything is near.

I found the Elysee hotel to be very basic, the rooms were very bare and due to the rooms being very big this was made more obvious. The veiw from our room (number 401) looked out on to an old run down courtyard with half knocked down buildings, not nice to look at one bit. As we were on a city break we liked to go back to our room to chill out for an hour and freshen up, the only english speacking channel was bbc news 24 which was on constantly so I found that very frustrating. If I had the chance of visiting Prague again I would but I would be picking a different and better hotel

The hotel is convenient to many of the sites in Prague. The staff are very helpful. My only complaint is that Wifi in rooms is not free. A number of similar hotels of similar price offers Wifi free. Otherwise, I recommend the Elysee Hotel and would happily stay there again. The fact that you had to pay to use Wifi in your room.

Rooms were quiet and clean. Bathroom (had shower) was nicely presented. Breakfast (continental) was plentiful and fresh. All round, very nice stay! Very good situation on the square. It would have been good to have satellite tv and more milk for coffee/tea in the room.

The location was walking distance from the train station and good restaurants. The breakfast was very good for a european b & B. The room was quiet especially for a hotel in a downtown location The room looked out to an empty lot with building being demolished. Free Wifi was only in the lobby. The beds were uncomfortable and the shower had no curtain so to have a shower you needed to sit if you didn't want to water over the floor.

The location and the receiption staff are friendly and helpfull, breakfast reasonable is good. Free wifi at loby. The entrance to the hotel which if you have to pass through the shopimg complex and also close the shoping complex door or shalter at 1200 so I have to call or ring the bell to someone from the hotel to open the door. Which takes from 5 to 15 minutes.

I travel through Prague fairly often on business from the United States, and I've stayed at many places. Elysee Hotel is by far the best in all regards, especially hospitality - something not too common in Prague. The location is excellent, being smack dab in the centre of Wencelas square and the prices are generally lower than competing hotels in the same area. On this occasion I suffered a terrible ankle injury, making myself immobile and the staff here went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of as I waited for surgery.
