Thanks to the hotel's great location you can easily enjoy romantic walks through cobbled streets in the historical parts of Prague and shop till you drop in fashionable boutiques. Everything is within reach.
The marble and wood interior dates back to 1927. This cafe, which is the heart of the hotel, has always been the place to meet people of cultural and political significance. The quiet and inviting atmosphere is enhanced by the tunes of the roaring twenties.
During the summer months the terrace is open.
Open daily from 06:30 to 22:30.
French restaurant
The chandelier made of Italian Murano glass dominates this great room. The restaurant offers a quiet ambience, where you can enjoy a rich breakfast as well as lunches and dinners with delicious regionally influenced French and Italian cuisine.
Open daily from 06:30 to 10:00 and from 12:00 to 22:00.
The Est bar is the right place to meet friends, business associates or just to relax. Its elegant wood panelling gives it a cosy atmosphere. The Est bar is situated on the first floor and resembles a real English clubs of past times. It is a quiet place, ideally suited to end your day over a fine drink. The bar offers a variety of drinks, cigars as well as light snacks.
Open Tuesday - Saturday, 19:00 - 2:00.
Each room is fully air-conditioned and equipped with classic furniture of precious wood, which was made especially for our hotel. The spacious bathrooms are made of Italian Carrara marble.

Unfortunately the hotel does not offer facilities for the disabled.
The National museum and the State Opera are located in front of the hotel.
Underground station: 0.2 km.
Highway: 0,3 km (but no noise !)

Esmorzar molt complet I gran ventall de canals de tv. Molt bona ubicació Tot I que fora feia molt de fred, la calefacció estava exageradament alta I no es podia regular. |

I liked the location and style of the hotel. Also, the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast staff were quick and attentive, the bar staff much less so. |

A very nice hotel which was only 2 minute walk from Wenscelas Square, staff very friendly and polite, plenty of choice for breakfast, overall a very pleasant hotel to stay in, don't think it should be a 5 star though. |

Great location, probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever had, free internet access. Mini bar charges incredibly good. Very little to complain about, but there was a charge for security safe (~£3 a day); could have done with a kettel for tea and coffee in room; breakfast could have had a little more variety - but was good |

Hotel Esplanade was excellent deal. From the friendly porter to helpful receptionist. The location is centraly. Food was superb. I can recommend this hotel with 10 stars. |

The first room we were allocated was very dark and secluded, but the front desk staff quickly suggested a lighter, better situated room. The room and bathroom were of ample size for two occupants. Well-assorted breakfast buffet. It should be allowed to iron one's clothes in the room - something which is possible in most other international hotels of this calibre. |

Big recommendation !!! I must say that Esplanade was very good deal. It was my first time in Prague and I got full hospitality from nice staff (specially reception clerk). Breakfast was very rich. Room was big and good furnished. Wifi in room is also very suitable for me. |

Nicely located hotel in a beautiful city. Easily reached from Underground train, easy to walk to main tourist areas. The bathroom had a damp smell. I'm not sure where this came from but some of the tiles to the outer wall near the toilet looked discoloured, there may have been damp here. |

Traditional building, nice features.Helpful and firendly staff.One of the best breakfasts I have had in the Czech Republic (e.g. scrambled eggs from real eggs) Parking was street parking outside the hotel - nothing happened and I believe (not know) hotel-related staff monitored it 24/7; not what I expect.I wonder where the 5th star came from - there was no gym/pool area or similar. |
