Great location..near everything and directly across from the train station. This allows easy get aways outside of Prague. It was 1000 ft. from the metro and across from the State Theatre. The hotel had that old european feel to it. Very nice. The food (dinner) was 5 star. Staff okay but not Ritz helpful. We give it a B. Not a 5 Star hotel. A solid 3.5 to 4. TV..TV...TV..Why can't they offer a few English channels or even pay per view movies. I didn't go on holiday to watch CNN. I think the daily charge for the safe was out of line. |

I liked the location of the hotel, so close to the train station, and around the corner from a metro station. The breakfast, included in the room rate, was excellent. Free Internet worked very well. The decor of the hotel and of the restaurant were beautiful. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was big, very comfortable, very clean, as well as the bathroom |

The staff was most helpful. The hotel is only 2 blocks from Wenceslaus Square where you can find restaurants and shopping. The hotel was renovated in 2008 and the rooms reflect that it is definately updated. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and there was both hot and cold food. Excellent. We ate at the hotel two nights and the food was very good. There is a 100Krona charge for the room safe. This is a petty detail but we were not told about it until check out. |

Excellent central situation. Could walk to most tourist places. Staff were very good and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Liked the decor etc. Was not too impressed with the restaurant. |

Staff were very pleasant. The ambiance of the hotel was nice. Easy to walk to subway station and to Wenceslas square. Right across the street from the Opera House. Elevator was quite slow. |

We were very much impressed with Esplanade Prague. The facility was lush and high class. We felt the room and accommodations were extraordinary. We so much enjoyed our first night of fine dining and the gourmet food that we reserved our evening meals at the hotel for the rest of our stay in Prague. And it is walking distance from the train station - very convenient. |

This is a very good hotel (although we did consider this hotel to be an upgraded four star rather than a full five star hotel). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location (close to central station which we much appreciated as we took public transportation to and from the airport). Five minute walk from Wenceslas square. Free wifi in the room was appreciated as well. |

Hotel Esplanade is very good deal. They offer very good rates in compare of the hotel services. Location: very close to Wenceslas Square and many sights. Staff was excellent, specialy reception staff is very proffesional and helpful. We will return again. |

good location, close to the Opera and Vaclav square... Good Breakfast. friendly staff. nice room with big tv screen... the building next door is being rebuilt and the noise was pretty loud and annoying as they started working everyday at 7... older/unfit people will find it hard in getting in/out of that bathtub as it was too high... drinks available on the room's fridge are quite expensive..(plus TVA in the check out bill... |

We stayed at Esplanade Prague. Hotel is very nice and with very good location. You can reach all major sights by walk. Rooms are quite big and nice furnished. Staff was friendly and breakfast was luxury. Big recommendation ! |

Location and parking the same breakfast every day and some sort, room keeper are rude,room is full with useless furniture,I requested a double bed and I had two beds together! I asked for smoking room and I had non-smoking room! is not a 5 stars hotel ! |

Beautiful room, beautiful hotel.Doorstaff were helpful and professional and likewise the service from the 2 men working in the cafe was superb. We also ate there twice and the food was very good.Due to a road closure on the way to Prague I phoned the hotel and asked if we could delay our booking one night which they did without cancellation fees, well done and thank you. Although given a non-smoking room, smoking is allowed/encouraged in the corridors with ashtrays provided in the nice sitting area, perhaps they could consider a non smoking floor? Our room was superb but we got a fright one night when a little girl appeared at our window! |

The location is very good. The matrass and the pillows were very confortable. I asked for a double bed in my reservation, cofirmed it upon our arrival while cheking in and finally we got two individual beds put together. The breakfast was quite poor. One day the lift was broken and we had to climb the stairs up to the sixth floor. |
