Room (Suite), localization.

Breakfast very very poor. Dishes almost empty (cheese, ham, eggs etc). Safe was damage on second day due a battery (stay four days) and nobody as repaired it which could not be acceptable. Also, a safe payment of czk 100/day is requested which is unnacepatble for a five stars hotel. Never paid it before in five stars hotel.

It has great personality and character, and its location to main Prague was very good

Hotel is convenient for Wencleslas Square and was clean.

Breakfast service a little slow. Had to ask for coffee every morning as it was not self serve, staff just stood around and did not pay much attention

This is not like a five-star hotel: no water boiler in the room, not even on request, no fresh orange juice for breakfast, no business centre, uncomfortable and dull furniture for a suite.

Closeness to main city and easy to walk around area

No Spa No Business center No gourmet restaurant No Bar open all day

Hotel has great location, just 2 minutes off Wenceslaw Square. It has character of old hotels.

I didnt like the choice in breakfast buffet, it was very poor for 5 star hotel. During our visit, they didnt open hotel bar, because there were not many guests, even when we were group of five.

Refurbished in traditional style. Well maintained. Liked bar area and dining room. Room good size with good windows. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Restaurant food very good.

This hotel was a great find and a great price. It was within walking distance to all major tourist attractions in Prague, tons of restaurants and stores as well as within a block to the stop of the subway and bus lines. Hotel staff were great in telling us the easiest way to get to places. The room was large clean and modern and a great place for a family with kids. The hotel included a great breakfast each morning. Unlike other reviews here the hotel did offer a twenty percent off on any other hotel services (it was advertised everywhere at the hotel) and honored it. We were also very grateful to the hotel for setting up other services such as a private transfer to and from the hotel with a price that we could not find anywhere else! Thanks

Although the hotel did have an inroom safe you had to pay a daily fee to use it. We have never stayed at a hotel of this level where this was the case.

The location was central to everything, rooms where cleaned both days we stayed, there was a good choice for breakfast, staff where very friendly and helpful, I would have no problem recommending the Esplanade Hotel, the only fault I had as a 5 Star hotel they did not supply a kettle for those of us who like a cup of tea or coffee otherwise we were all very happy.

Nice location, good cost-effectiveness, beautiful old furniture

Absolute no-go, doesn't matter if 2* or 5* hotel: mold in the shower

The friendly staff, the cleanliness of the room, the excellent food in the dining room, not only at breakfast but for dinner. However, since I have trouble walking and wasn't sure about taking the metro at first, the location wasn't as quite convenient as I would have liked.
