I expected something special from five stars hotel but honestly speaking I didn't find. Room was very big and very clean but there weren't comfortable desk and chair for work with laptop and because of that I can't recommend this hotel to business travelers. There is plasma TV in a room but pretty small with very very limited channels. |

The location is superb. The hotel is in between the old and the new city and if you have tired legs of walking all day, there are heaps of good restaurants just around the corner. I would like a bit more responsiveness from the hotel reception although their manager tried his best and he himself was very nice to deal with. However, the room was very clean and we received fresh towels every day, which is a bit of a nonsense. I would rather have one of those notes asking if I need fresh towels or will reuse the old ones. Be aware though that most of the tv channels are German with only 2 English. The room we had, was very quiet, but awkwarded build. We could not open the doors of our clothes cabinet totally and the room was too smalll for the room and gave too little light. The room was too small and a couple of extra pillows and just a blanket because it was quite muggy would have been nice. In general the room was too dark,. |

Superb location, lovely clean spacious rooms. Recommended! The weekend receptionists were very snobby and unfriendly. We arrived too early so our room was not ready, so after lunch we arrived at 2pm (the check-in time) and the room still wasn't ready yet! They said, "please wait 30 minutes". After 30 minutes we came back, they didn't recognise us and said "please wait 30 minutes". It was way past 3 at that time. After we became a bit mad (we were up since 3 am and really wanted some sleep) they reluctantly switched rooms. The staff that was there on Monday and Tuesday (so the regular staff I presume) was a lot more professional and friendly. |

Rooms on the 4th floor have great architecture with sky lights and very modern decor. Ours had a view out to the castle that was just gorgeous. Location - two blocks from the old city - made walking to all sites easy. Very hard beds. |

I-m very thankful to the nightstaff at the receiption for helping me and my wife to make a call to a peterolstation in Brno were unforunately she left her handbag behind. They give us a great assistance to call to my cellphone who was in the bag, and a czech speaking person had found it and he passed the adress so we could drive back to pick it up. Some furnitures are getting old now and is not in a good condition. |

The friendly, helpfull staff made this stay very enjoyable. Breakfasts were excellent and cannot be faulted. The room was very clean and provision of towels was good. The lighting in the room was a little too subdued, would have been useful to have a main room light. The lack of tea and coffee making facilities was very disappointing. |

Wonderful breakfast, good choice of cold and hot buffet items. The close proximity of all the sights. The staff although friendly had a very limited knowledge of English apart from the check in procedures eg we had a leak coming from our sink but we couldn't make the staff understand the urgency of fixing it as the floor was covered in water! |

Gorgeous room, lovely exposed beams and skylights. Very modern decor. TV was only in German and no one was able to fix it though I asked on the first day. Only 3 channels are in English on the directory but even those were in German. |

This is a Spanish hotel for Spanish tourists. All furniture, management, almost all staff and guests are Spanish. The satellite-connection broke down and a Spanish technician had to be flown in, so only a few channels on TV for the entire stay! Staff at reception highly inefficient, slow & rude, both at check-in as check-out. The rude part might be caused by their poor English ("You made a reservation for 3 days, so you must stay, you can not go now" when I wanted to leave earlier) Airconditioning had to be fixed. Mattrasses felt like sleeping on a stone. Who gave them 5 stars and why went completely beyond me. |

The hotel was near center. It was clean and decorated nicely. The aircondition was good. The staff was helpfull, but sometimes they were odd. The beds were not made, when we came in at night time. We had to make our own beds! They didn't knew the sights or banks near the hotel. They asked us to pay twice the things that we had already paid. The breakfast was not good and the coffee was terrible. |

Parking in the hotel is for 5 cars only and always busy. No baggage transfer service from public parking, that's located on another side of road 200m from hotel. Not normal for 5*** hotel. |

Bed and breakfast Parking is a nightmare, need to spend 20 min or so, unless you don't mind scratching it...Also, some street works started at 7.00 AM, making an unbearable noise. Overall, the hotel rooms isolation is very poor, traffic is permanent, cars keep passing by your window... |

The hotel is attractive and has about everything we would want in a hotel. The location is nice for easily seeing lots of the sites in Prague. The staff tried to be helpful but seemed a bit uninformed about some issues. There was confusion about the location of the workout room for one (or more) of the staff members. We needed an adapter for electricity conversion, so asked for one for over 36 hours. We were told "the one" which the hotel owned, was taken by a customer. They recommended that we go and purchase one!!! We tried that, and a man at a local store insisted we buy a particular one. It was the wrong adapter, so we ended up with no way to charge our electronic items. It would be beneficial for the hotel to correct all of that and buy lots more adapters!! Other than that, we had a delightful stay. |

Our room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The bartender was especially accommodating when, as Americans, we requested ice on numerous occasions. |
