Have stayed here many times previously on business and everytime is this stay very nice. Free wifi, clean room, helpful reception (Alzbeta) and THE BEST breakfast with rich choice.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, spoke excellent English.
No tea and coffee making facilities in room.
Very good price and wifi connection (room on 1st floor).
Good location very close to Metro station. There are some good restaurants in the area. Kind stuff.Relatively good breakfast. Silent rooms from the back site of the hotel.
Old furniture and dirty carpets. We were on the uppest floor and was not possible to close completely the windows. Problem to adjust the water temperature in the bathroom.
Very nice hotel, helpful staff, rich breakfast, tasty coffee, free wifi, comfortable sleeping
excellent break, very good wifi
I was travelling with my parents and booked this hotel for 3 nights. The first night when we arrived hotel at 1900, the staff claimed that due to SYSTEM ERROR, there was no room for us for the first night. The staff immediately arranged another hotel (Hotel Monica) for us, and told us that all cost for the first night (room and taxi fare to Hotel Monica) was free. We tried to be co-operative and accepted the offer. (At that time, as a tourist we had no idea how far and the condition of the arranged hotel, and we trusted the staff would provide comparable stay). Nightmare began. We were sent to middle of nowhere, which took us 20 mins taxi from Galerie Royale. There was no metro nor tram nearby. There was nothing nearby other than residential houses. This was the first trap. The second trap was that we were not actually provided a 'standard' hotel room. We, with 3 luggage, needed to walk downhill on a mountain sidewalk and were brought to a residential flat FULL of DUST and NO TV. That was NOT EVEN A HOTEL ROOM. Condition was horrible and totally unacceptable. We took taxi back to Galerie Royale and complained to the staff with anger. It was 2130 and we have spent 2.5hrs moving around with our heavy luggage. After our complaint, then now the staff told us that there was an apartment (Charles Central) available which was 2 mins walk from Galerie Royale. We almost lost our mind when we heard this. If there was an apartment nearby, why they had to send us far way with a dusty flat?! It was late and we had no option but to accept the second offer. This time the apartment was acceptable but still far below the standard of what we originally booked. To be fair, I need to stay that after complaining to the manager, Galerie Royale was trying to compensate us with free dinners, first night of stay, parking and free upgrade of room.
Prague is a great city. People are very open mind, kind and tolerance. This hotel is very nice, silence, comfortable and cute. Next year I will be living here too when will come to Prague on next Lady Gaga ball))
Very nice hotel, 20 minutes walk to the centre, 1 minute metro station, nice room, free wifi, rich breakfast, lovely stay
We had a great experience with Galerie Royale during our 6 days stay in Prague. It is only 10 min walk away from Florenc bus station. And it is quite near the city center, about 25 min walk or 2-3 metro stations. Metro station is only 1 min away from the hotel. The hotel is in a peaceful location with great room isolation. We booked a room with double bed, but there was a mistake, so we got a room with two separate beds. That was an unpleasant surprise, but we went to reception to claim another room and they solved it immediately. We even got a big apartment because they didn't have any standard room available :) Breakfast is very good, there is so much to chose. I am a breakfast person and I highly recommend it :) he staff is very pleasant and helpful. Also, just across the road is a supermarket Albert. Oh, and not to forget that we were allowed to leave our luggage in the hotel (they have room for this) before check-in and after check-out which was very helpful as we wanted to explore the city as much as possible. We highly recommend Galerie Royale hotel, it is great in every aspect!
There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel. They resolve issues quickly with a smile on their face, and are very pleasant to guests.
the best location near the city centre, quiet and family hotel, professional staff, rich breakfast, secure parking, free wifi
Jana! She was most helpful, spoke the best English, was friendly, and kind. She arranged for a car to bring us to the airport. She made our stay the best. Thank you Jana Location excellent. Rent by Metro and tram. Clean room. Minibar. Able to open and close window as we wish, blackout curtains for sleeping, beautiful lobby, cozy breakfast. Lots of free maps available.
No shower curtain in our bathroom?! Room 305. Water can splash everywhere this way, and often did. When we asked for a full clean of our room, the cleaning staff only made our beds. The sheets needed changing as I had spilled chocolate milk on it, and it was not changed. Only one roll was given when we asked for toilet paper.
The best location in Prague to go to many places at walking, profesional staff, nice reception, clean room, free wifi
Cosy hall with excellent breakfast, pleasant service from the desk and manager also for an easy arrangement of a business meeting on short-term notice. One of my favorite hotels in Praha for business as well as for leisure (easy garage parking, underground (metro) next door, comfy room, efficient staff for business meetings arrangements).
Low wifi signal on 4th floor.
Nice room. Close to metro. Good breakfast.
WiFi is not available at room (3rd floor)
Good and rich breakfast, location near metro station and in a pleasant surrounding, relaxed atmosphere and nice staff. Instead of smaller double bedroom comfortable triple bedroom was offered.
The bed was very low, a bit difficult to get up, and not comfortable i.e. too hard. Double bed was two beds put together.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was a half a block from a metro stop.
Small room, but it wasn't too bad as I was a solo traveler.
Location not far from center , Metro & tram station are close to the Hotel
Unconfertable Bed , Small rooms, most of room furniture needs to be renewed,Breakfast with limited varaities, in Bathroom not enough towels,Toilett paper, towel hangers, Car Parking very expensive
Friendly and helpful staff, nice room, good breakfast with nice variety and excellent location nearby metro station. I would definitely stay there again
location near metro station, posibility of parking (for payment), breakfast, very helpful receptionists
poor Wi fi signal in room
Clean room Good Breakfast buffet included Perfect stuff Room to main silence street with big windows 20 Metters to Metro line, perfect place for turists We was 12 nights in Hotel, Highly Recomended!
Low Internet Signal in room (3rd floor).
it was not 4 * hotel...we had tiny room with separated bed put together
I found hotel Galerie Royale very comfortable with very pleasant and attentive staff. Very comfortable location for transportation. Best breakfast I have ever had in 4 star hotels! One of the cheapest 4 star hotels in Prague! I recommend!
