Score from 360 reviews Very good
Location was very good. Had all the facilities we needed and the freedom to make it feel like our own. No negatives that affected our stay.
Only saw the owner once then never again, not even at check out. Curtains did not cover windows and were transparent. Every word you said echoed around the entire building.
Great location, very nice staff.
Room was large, clean and comfy. The staff was so helpful and friendly. More importantly, it was convenient to explore the old city center.
First i stayed only one night, but got a common idea. Place is chosen by mostly noisy teenage / collage guys. They did not keep the common areas clean and constantly made noise. The walls of the room are not soundproof so it was bothering, especially in the 9 am. I know this is not the hostels fault but i have to write it down.
The location of the hostel are fair enough because we can just find any restaurant, shops and Metro station are not far away.
The staff are not very friendly, i think the hotel are lied to us that they didnt state we should pay another extra for bedding on their page. I dont think that just two toilet for all of us are not enough, sharing with the whole building.
loud streets & bars down the rooms
Fairly clean and comfortable.
This is called a hostel. It is an apartment which was not on the website. It was also haunted. There were no other guests in the entire building. No other backpackers. Nerve wrecking place. Although the location was excellent and it was fairly clean.
Very friendly, clean and comfortable. Perfect location, highly recommend!
Very quiet and convenient to the city, good information from the staff, kitchen OK, washing machine a great bonus.
Blinds need to be more block out
A great, clean and discrete hostel in the heart of Prague. Everything is in walk distance from here. The owner we saw the day we came and the day we left. No one bothered us during our stay. Although there's a shared bathroom, there are actualy three bathrooms per floor, so we never even saw the other guests. Greatest place for the money value in Prague!
Hostel itself is very basic but offers comfortable and spacious rooms, free reliable WiFi and in the apartment that our room was in, included use of kitchen and cooking facilities. There was also a washing machine! The bathrooms were cleaned down daily. The hostel is located really close to the main strip that runs to the river and is only about a 15 min walk from the train station. There is a restaurant and bar next door and many eating places and bars near by.
There was the issue that sound travels throughout the apartment from the common area and so can be pot luck as to who you have staying in the other rooms.
Rooms not comfortable; Bathroom not clean enough;
I really like location of hotel.
They should have 24*7 reception.
The location was perfect, right in the center of the city. 5 minutes walk to main shopping area and between two of the metro lines.
When we arrived, no one answered the doorbell. We had to phone the staff, wait for someone to come and let us in (waited abt. 15 mins.). The doorbell was constantly ringing - in the main apartment with our guest room (which was labeled "Reception", though there was no reception) - waking us up in the morning, when new confused guests arrived. I had to reset the wifi box (was in the hallway) several times a day. One day, the internet was completely dead. There was no curtains (only a light see-through linen) in our room and we were on 1st floor. Had to hang a bedlinen in the window, to get some privacy. We got a bunk bed and a one person bed. We're an adult couple, my husband being nearly 2 meters high. Couldn't make a double bed out of it, because the ladder at the bunk bed couldn't be removed. A BUNK BED?! The hot water generator had to be reset (took some time to figure out), due to some error, so first days we only had freezing cold water to shower in. Our closet was falling apart. One bathroom for three guestrooms? No towels on toilets and the soap was shampoo bottles. My husband had to search the place himself for toilet paper. Saw no staff until we were leaving on the fourth day. All in all, everything was below standard, which is sad. With a little effort, this could be a really nice place, but too many problems and annoyances made the stay a pain.
Close to town and cheap
The French neighbours were incredibly noisy, The flimsy beds (one was held together with parcel tape!), No Privacy in the toilet (one guest randomly walked in on me in the shower to sit on the toilet!), The doors shut very loudly, Walls paper thin, No tea bags (seriously... none), Stairs were very steep, Too many bikes in the hall way, A dark place. Very dark indeed, Daaaaaagh
This hotel locates at the city center. The price is low.It also has kitchen with pans and dishes.
4 group rooms share 2 toilets and 2 Bathroom. A little bit insufficient
