Amazing city with world-class modernist architecture (I especially recommend Bata's Memorial, the interior is breathtaking), the museum and gallery in Bata's Institute are worth recommending too. Don't come there if you don't like modern architecture though, there are barely any buildings older than 100 years.Wieczorek - 10Scored 10

Favorite spots: Baťa's skyscraper (n. 21) – rooftop view, coffee bar. Baťa's Institute 14|15 with museum with exposure called "BAŤA PRINCIPLE: FANTASY TODAY, REALITY TOMORROW" – note: not opened in Monday. The same for Baťa's Monument above the Interhotel. We eat once in Makalu Nepal restaurant. I had coffee in Coffeshop Company on náměstí Míru (square). We visited cinema too. Next time I will arrange more time for the museum (1h).

We were there over Christmas and unfortunately everything shuts down from midday Christmas Eve until the 27th. The restaurant in our hotel was open and had a fantastic menu. Service was excellent. The wine bar opened at 3 on the 26th and it is a must. One of the best things in town. Just around the corner from our hotel.

It is a town with industrial tradition.
It is a town with industrial tradition. A lot to see, many landmarks, takes few days to see all. My most favorite is rooftop of skyscrapper 21, cycling road around the town, Zoo, or admiring architecture of old squares.

Zlin is a modern town but with lots of character and good transport links and good quality and value places to eat and drink. Brno airport is just over an hour away and the road system is very good allowing you to move around without any problem. Zlin is also a great location if you wish to visit the many beautiful towns and villages in the region such as Kromeriz, Olomouc and the spa town of Luhacovice and you can easily spend a day in each.

Very friendly and helpful staff- from the front desk to the breakfast lady. The cleaning service was also very discreet and got the job done efficiently. The room looked new, it was clean and comfy. Bonus point for the fact that it was also spacious for a single room, same for the bathroom and the sink. It is very much appreciated! Large choice for breakfast. Great to have restaurants on site- the burger at Legenda was tasteful and the staff friendly.

Rooms are spacious (I could even park the stroller in the bathroom!) and beds are large. Carpets in the rooms and curtains in windows (the hotel is next to the block of flats). Checkin and checkout went smooth. Breakfast was ok (150 CZK/person), I liked the cakes. The parking lot is in front of the hotel. Bata's houses and the bike path (7,5km to ZOO) very close to the hotel is a nice bonus.
