Great view of town, comfortable and cozy room. Owner was helpuf and polite!
Breakfast wasn't something extremely good but it was ok. The apartment is lolocated on the top of hill, so it was tiring to get there.
Little pub just down the hill was awesome, great food and value for money.
The managers assistance. The location and proximity of local transport (trams) The wonderful view from our room. The quality of the breakfast provided. Would definitely stay there again.
No lift. Difficult for an elderly couple, but the Manager insisted on carrying our heavy luggage. Thank you
Location, price, staff, rooms
Breakfast was always the same and not many choices.
The room is really spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is good but may boring for those stay for longer. Close to the Castle and you can find restaruants around. About 20-30 mintues to the Charles Bridge and the center.
Not easy to find the hotel , it's really on the hill. If you not have car or take taxi but with a big luggage , you will crazy. Private parking in front of the door is 15Eur. little expensive...
Excellent, central location but still a quiet location Staff were excellent, very helpful with anything & particularly with an early check in due to our arrival time in Prague Very spacious apartment (C7) overlooking the park & the 'eiffel tower'
Large room, good breakfast, great staff, close to all the action, quiet room
Very kind and helpful staff. The room was stylish and appartment well located. The bar and restaurant - very good value for the money!
Nice breakfast, quiet and in a stunning location. Pleasant staff that are helpful.
Was looking forward to a room with a fantastic view but unfortunately the basement apartment doesn't offer this. But the stay was still enjoyable.
Strong, fast wi-fi. Plenty of space. Comfortable.
Hardly any English satellite channels but not a major issue as we were out in beautiful Prague most of the time!
Very spacious apartment
Need an extra (2) set of keys. The front door to enter inside apartment complex requires a key to enter and EXIT. This is a problem if you have multiple people in the apartment.
- spacious - very friendly owner and staff - comfortable bed, great sheets - nice old building - sufficient breakfast - attention to details - tasty beer from downstairs pub
Great value for the location. We stayed in the attic which was very spacious with superb views. Four flights of steps will keep you fit! Food (& beer !) in the restaurant below good value. Free breakfast catered to every taste.
My friends and I are very satisfied with the apartment. It has super big rooms with a wonderful view through the windows of one bedroom. The location is up on the hill near the castle, if you have time ,you may have a walk around and will find the scenery surprisingly good. When we arrived, the manager was patient enough to show us how to open the gate and draw the route on the map to tell us how to park the car in a free parking zone. He is very nice and considerate. One more thing, the restaurant of the hotel is in a cellar, with very stylistic decoration. I am sure you will like it. If I go to Prague again, I will definitely choose Golden Apartment Hotel.
the views over the city were excellent and a large and roomy apartment. Quiet and clean in an excellent location
We loved this stay in Prague Close to the Tram 22 at top of hill, it will take you to the center of Prague Great breakfast in a cool beer cellar Very clean apartmentt with all amenities, location for free parking near by Have to be able to walk a bit
did not change towels, but spoke to staff and they said all we had to do is ask
The view from the room
We arrived at 2230 at night by tram at pohorolec station and had trouble finding the location of the hotel. A very kind gentleman on street helped us finding the place using his smartphone. There was no board or hoarding outside the hotel gving its name, just a small nameplate which you would struggle to find. On entering the building, I realised our room was at third floor, there is no elevator facility and considering building is 600 years old, the steps are pretty steep. It was a tough ask to carry the luggage up to third floor. We were with our 20 month old daughter and I decided to leave the buggie downstairs itself. The restaurant was closed but thankfully the lady who received us agreed to microwave some of the ready food we had with us else we would have slept hungry that day. Room itself was fairly ok and the view was beautiful as one could imagine from the top floor. Next day we went down to have breakfast in the restaurant which is located at minus 1 level. There were tables marked for us and we sat there for ten minutes before the guy serving came and asked us " Is there a problem?" When I told him we were waiting for the breakfast that's when he informed that it's in the other corner and you can help yourself. The breakfast choice was limited and some of the stuff was already finished e.g. white bread. On asking him for some more he looked at me as if I am asking for some treasure. The reply I got was " there is bread on your table". It was a different bread which I didn't want to eat. Anyway we did not want a bad start to the day, so decided to finish and leave to visit the city. Meanwhile, my daughter who is like any other toddler in that age group climbed on to the table as there was no baby chair to keep her restrained. The guy at the restaurant came and literally screamed " why is she on table?" He was really rude and I felt like giving him some piece of my mind but I rather apologised and we left.
The apartment was lovely, huge rooms, a wonderful location with a beautiful view out over the hills. We were very close to the castle and it was a very picturesque if long- ish walk over Charles Bridge to the main square. All downhill of course which meant all uphill on the way back! But a good walk if you've eaten too much delicious Czech food! We had a very brief problem with hot water which was instantly fixed, we were very well looked after. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. I thought the apartment was excellent value and would highly recommend it as a well located base from which to explore beautiful Prague.
A bit noisy at night from time to time but good earplugs would sort that out !
The apartment was very big. The owner was friendly. The owner really took care of the apartment. (it is an old building, but he made it very comfortable. You feel like you are staying in a museum) I love this place!
good location , very near to the prague castle, very clean apartment, hotel staffs very helpful!
Location,Location,Location! Very Large Apartment Beautiful Views A walk downhill to Charles Bridge & over to town centre - a tram ride up generous breakfast close to the best attractions, Castle, monastry, Loreto Convent
Great location and view !!! The owner and staff were very kind .
We loved the historical building and the way it has been renovated. The view was splendid and we were within walking distance of Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and Old Town. The best was the special care and treatment we received from the staff. Highly recommended.
Great location in historical building very close to Prague Castle. Huge apartment with kitchen and home equipment. Repetitive but nice breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. Free parking 5 mins walk from the apartments. Quick WiFi.
No elevator - we had an apartment on the 3rd floor and were tired getting our bags upstairs. No ideas what to do with the litter in the apartment - nobody cleaned the bins for the whole 3 days we lived there.
