The location was superb! The view over the Old Town Square couldn't be beat and we could walk all over the center city area. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Breakfast was good and the selection more than adequate. There were a ton of excellent restaurants very close by and we could easily get to all of the places we wanted to see while in Prague. We would stay there again without hesitation. The rooms were small with little storage space. That said, staying in a centuries-old building, in such a terrific location, was worth that kind of inconvenience. Our TV stopped working twice during our two-night stay (both times quickly fixed). While the room was clean, I found several pieces of glass on the floor which apparently were missed when the room was serviced. All in all, though, we were happy with our choice of hotels in old Prague.

Pretty much everything but especially the room (213) and its superb view of the clock and the square. Also the staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent and the sauna/spa was superb. It was the perfect base to spend 3 days and we would like to come back for New Years eve if possible depending on room rates. Really struggle to find something negative but only thing we can think of was the TV. tuning was a bit eratic and a movie facility would have been nice

It is our first time here and we will return more and more in future. Hotel location is fantastic and convinient to reach all sightseeing in Prague. Excellent view on Tower Watch. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Huge bathroom. Personnel is very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good enough. We stayed at the second half of the building and there was no elevator so it can be unconvinient for aged people .

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Prague. We requested a room with a view of the astronomical clock and were lucky to get one with a view of the Tyn church as well (and the Christmas markets, which were a bonus). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was beautifully furnished. The only issue could be the noise of people in the square for some people, although it didn't bother us. The place was quite overheated, which we could manage in our room, but it was stifling in the public areas (even though we had come from an Australian summer!).

The hotel is in the best place of Praga, very comfortable and very nice staff. The entrance is quite difficult, because reception is on the first floor.

The room was more than we thought it would be. Staff were obliging and professional. The view of Old Town Square was amazing. The square s busy and noisy. The clock chimes until midnight. The old town square is also lit until midnight, ans therefore the room is bright even with the curtains drawn. If you plan on going to bed before midnight you might be a little frustrated.

Location, atmosphere. Large room, and large bathroom. Comfortable bed. Ac. Good breakfast buffet. Strange "maze"-like path to get to the room. Stairs going up, long corridors, stairs going down etc. a bit annoying but also a little charming! :) It took us 2 to 3 minutes to walk from the street to our room. Reception and breakfast-room not in same building as room.

Location, location, location. Right on the square opposite the famous clock tower which you can see clearly from the restaurant. Old world style of hotel with modern touches. Staff were excellent.. Room was huge. Our room was situated directly above the restaurant toilets and the noise from the hand dryer was loud and could be clearly heard in our room. The toilets were in use through the night. I called reception late one night about it and they just brushed me off. No room to leave our suitcases open.. Travellers want to be able to leave everything in their suitcase and access them freely and we couldn't do that. Had to lift and open our suitcases on the bed each time which was annoying despite the room being huge. Too much furniture.

We stayed 5 nights and on arrival at the hotel we found out our room was not connected to the hotel only 5yards but then we were taken up 94 flights of stairs to the attic room that only had a skylight and tiny window .but was bright spacious and a very large bathroom ..but getting to the room was a torture especially if your not fit and healthy or a lung condition which my wife has ..so it definitely would put you off coming back to your room unless you were desperate ..also paying for the toilet 33pence or 10 krowns .you must keep your key card to tell them you a hotel guest or they do try not to pleasantly for payment ..but the hotel was lovely and staff very helpful and location was fantastic and would go again the grand hotel again but make sure room was easier to get too ..

Parking Service Very unfriendly and unsupportive staff. I wanted to cancel the last night (I stayed 2 nights and stead of 3) , but I was forced to pay for the complete time. I complaint about noice (starting construction from 6:30 in the morning) and insects in my bed, but the Hotel was not willing to accept my cancellation for the last night. I did not stay but I paid the last night. That never happened to my with other Hotels I booked via booking.com.
