Guests can rent mountain bikes for touring the region. The local area offers plenty of activities to enjoy, including bowling, golf, tennis, squash, horse riding, canoeing and fishing - for which the area is renowned.
As well as walks in the beautiful countryside surrounding the hotel, the charming town of Revnice is also a delightful place to explore on foot. Rock and blues concerts are a local speciality and there are regular classical performances in the Forest Theatre, as well as a traditional spring festival for local folk groups.
The hotel also has a restaurant for private functions and events. This restaurant has a capacity of 60 and can host live music. There is also a garden restaurant for 120 people that is ideal for barbecues and hog roasts and also has a dance floor.
There are 10 rooms that can accommodate an extra bed.
All rooms are en suite.
Revnice has a long and rich history and the first mentions of the settlement date back to the 12th century. Many famous people were born or lived in the city, including writer Ignat Hermann, Hana Weissova¡ - a star performer of the National Theatre and the architect Sochor who reconstructed the Loire Valley Chateaux. The President T.G. Masaryk also often stayed in Revnice, as did the writers Svatopluk Cech and Jaroslav Vrchlicky and many others.
Revnice is also the birthplace of the world tennis champion Martina Navratilova and tennis is an extremely popular sport for the citizens of Revnice. There are many sporting facilities in Revnice, and there are both outdoor and indoor tennis courts just 200 metres from the hotel.
The hotel is an ideal base for exploring the area either by hiking or by train or car. Some of the attractions in the area include the nearby castles of Karlštejn, Křivoklát Žebrák and Točník. The chateaux of Hořovice and Mníšek pod Brdy are also well worth a visit. The Koněprusy Caves and the famous villages of Liteň or Tetín are fascinating, and the places of pilgrimage in Skalka and Svatý Ján pod Skalou can also be reached from the hotel.

The building itself is just great - who gets to stay in a pink House - Hotel Grand complete with highceiling rooms and old fashioned stair case. Even as it is right next to the railwaystation there was no disturbing noise from the trains and it is super convienient. Big size meals in the restaurant for a very small prize! Would stay there again anytime. |

We enjoyed the old ambience of the hotel. Having a receptionist who spoke English was a plus for us. On our 2nd morning, we arrived at breakfast at 9 am. There were very few clean dishes available, less clean places to sit and even less food to eat. There was no cereal, no coffee, 1/2 an egg, no juice, and a few pieces of meat and cheese. The only bread was the bread in the baskets on the tables. Breakfast is indicated as from 8-10 am. People arriving after us faired even worse. I asked for more coffee and we received a half pot of luke warm coffee. No one came in to clean up or replace items. The next night we had dinner at the hotel. The food had to be returned as the chicken in the dish was spoiled. |

Just a really friendly hotel to stay in. Convenient trains for Prague without the hassle of staying in the city. This was our 5th year and we were treated like family. |

Das Frühstück war gut und reichlich.Eine Umwandlung in ein Lunchpaket war problemlos möglich.Restaurant im Haus. Das Gebäude/die Zimmer sind sehr abgewohnt.Mängel bei der Sauberkeit.Lediglich 3 tschechische TV-Sender empfangbar.Keine Radioprogramme.Bahnlärm. |

Die Nähe zu Prag, sehr gute und preiswärte Zugverbindung. Vorderansicht des Hotels. Das Innere entspricht in keinerlei Weise dem Äußeren. Spinnweben, kaputte Fenster, Fensterbretter mit Vogelkot, Wände mit Insektenresten, lose, freiliegende Kabel. undichte WC-Spülung - alles sehr renovierungsbedürftig, sehr einfaches Frühstück. |

Aangename ontvangst. Aangenaam personeel. Niet opdringerig. Rustige sfeer en ontspannen sfeer. Propere kamers en onderhoud van de kamer. Goed ontbijtbuffet. Prijs/kwaliteit zeker een aanrader ! Geen telefoon op kamer en ook geen internationale TV programma's als BBC of CNN op TV. |

A reggeli és a fürdőszoba korrekt. A közös helyiségek büdösek, koszosak. Bár láttuk, hogy naponta takarítanak, a falak, a padozat, a lépcső, az ablakkeretek rettenetesen koszosak. Az épületben kellemetlen ételszag, doh, dohányszag terjeng. A szobák egy része is lelakott, a bútorok koszosak. |

L'hotel è di fronte alla stazione (50m) ma nessun disturbo dai treni, la colazione è abbondante e buona(attenzione ad arrivare troppo tardi), il personale è buono, c'è la possibilità di usare internet, parcheggio ampio e gratuito, il ristorante e cosigliato, buoni pasti e prezzo piccolo, stanze e bagno puliti e ampi. La colazione se arrivate un pò tardi, l'hotel è un pò vecchio |

Van 23.00 tot 06.00 uur was het zeer rustig. Wij, 2p, kregen een 3p-kamer, omdat we een hond bij ons hadden. Zonder bijbetaling. Prima naar onze zin gehad! Schoonmaak liet te wensen over. |

Sa situation a la campagne proche de praha ;L'amabilité des deux femmes dirigeantes. Pour ceux qui n'ont pas de voiture, la proximité de la gare L' hôtel est assez ancien et mériterait des rénovations. Ns avons eu des problèmes avec le serveur de la restauration qui ne parlant ni français ni anglais a cru, un moment que ns allions prendre le train sans règler sa note, allant jusqu'à notre chambre le soir faire une réclamation. Ns n'avons pas compris. Je me suis arrangé avec l'hôtelière |

J'ai aimé le calme, la propreté, la gentillesse du personnel. Comme je voulais visiter Prague, la proximité de la gare (deux trains par heure) était bienvenue. J'ai apprécié qu'il y ait un endroit fermé à partir de 23 heures où on pouvait laisser sa voiture. L'hôtel fait aussi café, restaurant, mais je n'ai pas eu le temps d'utiliser ces services. |

Hotel tranquille et proche de la gare pour se rendre à Prague. Les chambres sont assez jolie et le petit déjeuner assez bon. L'hotel n'est pas toujors très propre par endroit mais dans les chambres oui. Le personnel est disponible et souriant mais nous avons eu quelques problèmes pour notre paiement par VISA. |
