Breakfast was excellent

Rate was very high. They charged me for curtain full price due to incident that caused little damage which can be fixed in ten minutes. For me it is not a matter of money, it is a matter of professional treatment for guests who came on 7 hours flight to enjoy the country stay.

internet was too expensive and didnt work(was veeeery slow). When I booked a room in the hotel I payed for parking too, but when was check out, hotel was asking to pay for parking one more time. Its good that I had a printout of my booking confirmation, where was written that I have already payed for parking and then they returned the money.

An amazing historical building, very quiet room, extremely comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast!! The massage centre was very, very good also. I really enjoyed my stay and will return.

Internet access was not free even though it is advertised as such. 500 Crowns (about 20 Euros) for an internet connection that was absolutely terrible. Luckily I did not need it for anything important.

Location, Parking, Quietness, Climate Control

Expensive for an average room, small bathroom, confusion about the location of the breakfasts, town roads and sidewalks in the area dug-up, staff unknowledgeable about local attractions, "first-class" section of hotel really second-class, room charged at time of booking not at time of stay.

very attentive service in an old school atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to be helpful when we had a small car accident. Great food and a wonderful setting.

They do charge a lot for extras.

The grandness of the hotel is really spectacular - you really have a sense of history and feel like you could be walking through a museum or palace.

This hotel was most promising in my Czech Republic trip. But at the end it turned to be a terrible memoir. The first frustration that i faced was the bed. For such an hotel we had to sleep at seperate beds rather than a french bed. My plane to home was cancelled. I was really upset. But they had rather shown a little emphaty for me. Before everything the internet in this grand hotel is not free. This hotel has brakfast only after 7 and you are not offered even a small sandwich before that time . This hotel does not know the meaning of word emphaty.

The 5 stars part is good. It use to be excellent. My husband comment is , 'I have stayed there 10 years ago. I thought I live in the old palace. Now it is another beautiful hotel.' The 4 stars part of the hotel is fine. However, we are surprise that the staffs in breakfast room seems so armature.

the hotel has two distinct sections first class and deluxe the hotel advised it is the same except the age of the buildings. This is not the case the first class where we stayed are treated like the poor relation, the attitude of the staff and there is a separate breakfast room and the food was one notch up from slop. I would think there would be far better options in Karlovy Vary

Bydlela jsem týden v kategorii First Class. Hezký, prostorný pokoj s výhledem na řeku. Zařízení i služby odpovídají spíš pětihvězdičkovému pokoji (srovnávám např. s Hilton, Sofitel, Ramada apod.). Luxusní damaškové povlečení, internet rychlý a zdarma, příjemný personál (zajistili např. golf se slevou 400,-Kč/fee). Naprosto úchvatná architektura, dostatek prostoru pro lenošení. Bezkonkurenční snídaně jak výběrem, tak exkluzivním prostředím. Příjemně nízké (155,-Kč) ceny míchaných nápojů v Klubu dvorana, kde je velmi milý personál. Výborné masáže Tawan! Překvapil i snídaňový balíček na recepci (po předchozím nahlášení) v 5:30 ráno při včasném odjezdu a potěšil i malý dárek při check out.

Vybavení fitness centra je docela chudé na přístroje a sice v hezkých, ale malých prostorách. Římské lázně jsou vkusně zařízené, ale v páře chybí možnost oplachu čistou vodou před a po použití. Také při plné obsazenosti hotelu je jedna vířivka nedostačující.
