Grandhotel Brno  

Dit hotel ligt op loopafstand van de winkelstraten en gezellig plein. Airco werkt prima. Het ontbijt was uitstekend.

Jammer dat de geluiden van trein en tram doordringen in de kamer.

Plezierige atmosfeer, prettig stadshotel.

Hoge parkeertarief voor de deur (ongeveer 20% van de kamerprijs).

room service is actually a call to the bar and the guy there is rude and hungs up on you most of the limited times the bar is actually open. They seem to try to run the hotel with 2 or 3 employees..

Old hotel (Imperor Franz-Josef ii from Austria and T.A.Edison slept there) - renovated. Huge and very comfortable rooms , bath rooms with windows - in Paris you can only dream about it. Excellent service, one of the best restaurant in Brno (local specialities and new gastro food) with tiny pool surrounded by vegetation, nice bar, very well located - 2min from old town, 2 min from main station and bus station, 5 min from bus stop to the airport. Ideal for discovery. Very calm. I had a view at old little pedestrian street. Welcome basket with local sweeties and mineral watter. Bathrobe and slippers. Everything very tidy.

The tv was old just with view channels but it did not really matter. I did not come to Brno to watch tv.

In center of town

Old, very bed and cheap renovation. You can make hotel from comunist era to 4**** but you need more money for that. On this way you still have comunist "smell" in hotel.

Good central location for my particular business purposes. helpful and friendly staff. Good in terms of close to airport. Very good beer.

Elegant lobby and bar. Old world charm. Front desk and bar staff great. Rooms were very nice and quite comfortable. Would stay here again.

Hotel front person's English was clear, very kind and helpful.

On the internet booking system, whether the room is "smoking" or "non-smoking" is not very clear. I would appreciate it if it is made clear.

Location is helpful but comfort and service very satisfactory.

As air travel restricts what you can carry in a washbag I would have welcome some hair champoo in the bathroom.

It was located in the center of the city.

The Grand hotel is beautifully decorated and has a class,the food was exelent,the location is perfect as it is close to train and tram,short walk to the city centre.

Not an easy excess for an eldery to the shower,

Really old inside, except for the restaurant, poor bed comfort in standard single room, not so clean.. Does not deserve 4 stars..
