The modern Ostruvek hotel is in a green area, a 10-minute tram ride from Wenceslas Square and the center of Prague. It features free in-room Wi-Fi.
Score from 1500 reviews Very good
The charming, family-owned Andel hotel is conveniently located next to Prague's modern business and shopping centre Andel, 50 metres from the subway station.
Score from 937 reviews Good
The new Akcent hotel is on the 7th floor of a 1930s office building in Functionalist style right at the Anděl metro station and features splendid views of Prague from all rooms.
Score from 694 reviews Very good
This modern hotel is situated close to Prague's historic district of Lesser Town and the Novy Smichov shopping center.
Score from 278 reviews Good
Staff are helpful and friendly. It is a design hotel Home feel Sufficient parking place for driver.
The bed is too soft. I used to sleep in a harder and support one. No wifi inside the room, they just provide wlan.
Good value for money - free parking. breakfast included, very close to metro (20min from Centre).
You need to have a laptop with you to use internet as WiFi is only in lobby.
FREE parking and secure Clean, nice room VERY friendly and helpful staff (thank you, Vojta.....you are awesome) very adequate breakfast Location great.....accessibity to the Metro
Internet usually VERY slow and only accessible in the lobby Could not have found this place without our GPS and then it was a little difficult
Close to subway.
This hotel is really good value. It is close to the metro, so easy to get too and from the centre of town. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
The whole stay was perfect!
The breakfast could be more sofisticated especially for longer stay!
Very clean rooms Excellent and helpful staff Excellent breakfast always topped up 2 minutes away from an excellent underground trains every few minutes and easy to understand by two Brits from yorkshire not used to travelling on tube will definitely use again. Parking excellent and secure
Tea and coffee making facilities not in the room. Because the coffee machine is always turned off it takes a long time to make tea and coffee in the reception area. Staff try to hurry the process on which leads to a Luke warm drink, just didn't like to complain to such nice staff. Hotel was a bit hard to find, satnav didn't like it
The staff was extremely courteous the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Very convenient location close to the Metro subway
Not enough English speaking TV stations... CNN only, no BBC WiFi Internet was not consistently strong and only available in the lobby. WiFi in rooms for guests greatly needed !
20 seconds from the tram, very handy
Parking - very well protected private parking lot
Internet connection only through a cable. Bring your own long one, in order to have a possibility to connect your nb when lying in the bed. Staying here is really not a luxury (poor food variety at breakfast, no own restaurant so you gotta go somewhere else for dinner, room was EXTREMELY small, it was really uncomfortable) but on the other hand, staying here is quite cheap, so price/performance ratio is rather high for Prague).
rooms were very comfortable, lacation close to the metro station 6 stops to the center, very very tasty and variable breakfast, private safe parking, when You are transit throw Prague it is the place which I recomend and if You want to stay there more time the same
too soft bads, no wi-fi in rooms( only cable connection), no fridge
Drapes made of papyrus that made you wake up at 5 in the morning doublebed consisting of two singlebeds
Very nice and helpful front desk staff. Good breakfast.
It's very hard to find this place first time.
very close to metro, 2-3 mins walk; cheap compared to hotels in city center; offers free secure parking for those who visit with a car.
far from center, avoid if secure parking is not your priority; wish they provide coffee machine and hot water kettle.
I liked the included breakfast and proximity to the metra station, which was easy to use and quick to get into and out of the old town
Hotel is in very good shape, perfect location to the Metro, excellent price-for-value, very clean and nice rooms
really hard to come up with something and actually complaining on a quite high level: no proper curtains, breakfast choice not overwhelming, lack of a proper bar
Like new facility. Clean, modern design. Minutes from subway downtown. Free, secure parking. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast.
Why don't European hotels have peanut butter?
The staff was very friendly and helpful, everything perfect, we'll return! :)
the breakfast is not good. the coffee is from powder!
The hotel is near the Jinonice Metro Station, so you can easily get the city centre. Hotel staffs are so helpful, and give all the directions to explore the city. Furthermore, free parking area is secure. Clean, nice and modern rooms.
- No wi-fi at room, only cable internet, so bring your laptop. - Around the hotel there isnt any restaurant or mini-market. A bit isolated area. - No smoking allowed in the closed areas, also rooms.
Staff was extremely friendly, very prompt. The room was spotless, beds were very comfortable. The area was nice a quite, even the rooms I heard no outside hallway noises or from the rooms next door. I would defiantly stay here again!
clean, warm room. good to have private parking.
no double bed room, not comfortable sleep in 2 individual beds, always a gap in the middle. there are very slip ramp bath from hotel to underground station (specially under snow). every morning wake up by people talking in corridor, not good sound isolation. always forgot to refill the bathroom amenities.
Neat and tidy rooms Free fenced parking
Mattress too soft Dining options are limited around the place Choice of sandwiches/paninis would help in the evening
Nice modern hotel, quiet. Breakfast is good, but if you stay more than 4 nights, you will get bored of it. But is quite rich. staff is very helpful and polite. Most of the stuff are young people and very friendly. Rooms are warm. Even if it was 0 degree outside, we didnt open the heating because walls are thick and is kept warm. even if it is a bit outside city center, is very easy to get to town. Nearest metro is just 1 minute walking distance, and in 12 minutes, after 5 stops you get directly to mustek station which is the most central station. My wife is pregnant and we did not have any problem to get to town. if you are planning to get to town more than 2 times a day, then it can be considered a bit far away. we use to go to town in the morning, return in the afternoon, and then back again in the evening. That was ok. rooms are very modern, nice decorated, bathroom also good. Shower is spacious. From hotel you can easily get to airport by taxi, since is closer to it than city center. It cost about 24 euro (650 crowns). if you get AAA taxi from airport to hotel, they offer you coupon with 47percent discount for your return journey. Find the AAA taxi desk on the arrival terminal. If you will stay more than 3 days to Prague, i suggest buy the 3-day metro ticket. It is really worth it, and will save you money and time.
no wifi in the bedrooms, although there is wifi in the lobby area and reception. Wifi is quite fast, but it is interrupted occasionally. They dont provide double bed, they just join two single beds (at least this is what they gave us. Maybe was applied just to us.)Better ask beforehand.
Great staff, very friendly and are happy to provide advice on places to go Comfortable bed and clean room Only 100m from the Jinonice metro station, which is an easy 10-15 minute ride to the city centre. Public transport is cheap, a 24 hour pass is about 5 euros and can be purchased at the hotel reception.
Wifi is only available in public areas downstairs. Room lighting is from a fluorescent tube on the beadhead, which doesnt light the room particulatly well giving the room a fairly dim and clinical feeling at night time.
