Fast response from the staff. I paid for the junior suite with jacuzzi. Jaccuzi was not working. They promised that they fixed by next day but nothing happened. Not even an excuse from the hotel managment. Its nice hotel but not worth its money. Also the breakfast is poor for a 5 star hotel.

The restaurant and its location. Its comfort in general. Free Wi-Fi The presentation of the hotel in the internet differs dramatically from reality. It is not a luxury hotel. It certainly offers comfort and the staff is very nice but the standard is not 5 star.

I like this hotel. Almost everyrhing was on a highest level. I strongly recommend the hotel restaurant - amazing cuisine! Everything was perfect, I can point two details only: 1. I would love to have a small teapot in the room. 2. Hotel staff could make better coffee. I tried espresso and received espresso long (too much water), next I tried cappucino and it was made without any kind of art. Being honest I am a bit crazy with coffee and it is not easy to make me happy but I strongly recommend hotel management to hire a good barist.

The service of the personel, and the positive appraoch. It is a 5* hotel , but with a personal touch. If you go for breakfastbuffets like in the big hotel companies, you will not be satisfied, but quality they offer is very good and certainly original. The spa accomodation is exceptional.Room was very good and cleaning exceptional.

I have stayed in Hoffmeister at the beginning of February and I have to say that it was definetely my best hotel experience ever :-) The staff on the reception was looking after us from the moment we entered the hotel until the very end of our stay. The cuisine in Hoffmeister is really delicious, I had the lamb shoulder with baby spinach and it was really fantastic. The breakfast was very rich and tasty. The location could not be better, you can walk from here to Prague Castle, Old Town... simply everywhere. I can only reccommend this lovely hotel to everybody who want to spend nice time in Prague.

The hotel had a very relaxed feel and the staff were welcoming. It is close to many of the attractions which makes it an ideal location for anyone looking to experience the wonders of Prague. For me, the spa was the best part of my short stay. I booked a steam and jacuzzi, it was abolutely heavenly and I felt so relaxed afterwards. I only wished I had had more time to indulge in some of the treatments on offer. The outside of the hotel looked a bit grubby and tired looking. There was no air conidtioning in the room and the room got very hot and stuffy which made it difficult to sleep at night. As there were no facilities to make tea or coffee I would have expected complimetary water to be provided.

Location nearby both turistic points (The Royal Castle area) as well public transport (150-200 m to tramway and undergrand station). Nice desing of hotel which is combine of old style with modern metal and glass elements, especially in romantic outdoor/indoor restautant. Very well spa fascilities and very large bathroom with own whirpool in the room (apartment type). Kindly and helpful staff from the very begining to the end of staying and every day room-clean service. That's a pity that there is no fitness fascilities in such kind (spa) hotel which could be installed in basement or ground area. There is also no swimming pool and what is (a great whirpool nicely arranged like an ancient roman bath and a romantic steam bath pretended to be middleage cave) is not free but expensive and need former reservation. The other negative side of staying in hotel is that any services (restaurant, room service etc.) are very expensive but that is perhaps understanded because any services in center of Prague are very, very expensive and visitors shoud expect that.

This is a 3-4 star hotel - the rooms are basic, but very comfortable. The rooms have free wi-fi, the staff is friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast is good and the location is very convenient to the castle and town center. I liked that the hotel is not inside but very close to the town center - so it was quiet and only a 10 minute walk over the river to the Town Square. Not much to dislike. Its not a 5 star hotel, so if you're expecting the Ritz, you will be disappointed. I would equate it to a Sheratin, but nicer because it is not a chain. My only complaint is that the walls in my room were totally bare so the ambiance of the room was not uplifting.

We really enjoyed the hotel, it was a very relaxed setting. The staff were brilliant, they made us most welcome. The food was of the highest quality. We both see ourselves visiting the Hotel again in the near future, that in itself is high reccomondation. We have already reccomended it to other people. Des, Sharon Davis

The location is superb, with easy access to the castle and the city centre just a few minutes walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we think the spa was first class. We found the room very noisy at night, because of the traffic and it kept us awake, but by the thrid evening, we manged to sleep straight through. I would consider putting a further window to help block out the traffic noise. We would also have liked to have a kettle I the room to make hot drinks.

Very well located, very comfortable bed. Our first room's bathroom was perfect but then we had to change rooms because of a leak in the sealing right above our bed, and our second's room bathroom wasn't as comfy as the first one. Despite this, both rooms were nice and comfortable (Junior Suite). Well like I said, we had to change rooms because of a leak in the sealing of our first room, so we didn't have the jacuzzi and the separated shower in the bathroom, which was also smaller, less comfortable and had only one sink. Some of the staff was very kind and friendly, like the guy usually working night shifts at the reception or the first bartender we met. Others could be kind of awkward and make you uncomfortable by making you feel almost like you're bothering them. I liked staying there in the overall, but I'll admit that I won't be staying there again because you don't expect such behavior from a 5 stars establishment's staff and if you have to change rooms because of something that the receptionist thought had been repaired some time ago, you'd expect them to offer you at least the same or better comfort as an apology for the incident that forced you to re-pack and re-unpack all your stuff in the middle of the night.

Beautiful room. Spa wasnt included-had to pay 270 kc to go half an hour in the jacuzzi. Breakfast was awful, only had one poor waitress catering to a restaurant full of people, had to steal cups and things off other people's tables. No cutlery etc. hot breakfast left in hot plates looked so disgusting by the time we got to it. Managers just looking not doing anything. Could not sleep all night- air conditioning above our heads making horrendous rattling noise even though it was off.
