Score from 426 reviews Good
toilets have no lockers, beds were dirty
The hostel had a decent enough kitchen, good shower facilities and was warm and comfortable. Super good value!
The staff were not all that friendly :(
I liked the free internet, even though in my room it didn't reach perfectly, it worked fine anywhere else. Nice location, near the Dancing House
The common area wasn't very pretty, but it was big. Roommates were very noisy at all times.
Not far from the old town. Internet was good
No doors in the bathrooms. . Only courtains.. Really!!
Hot room and very clean
Must use the stairs and there is dark on the stairs.
Book it only if you are in some real disaster with 5 Euro in your pocket. And even then you'll have to day deposit. The only thing which was perfect is wi-fi. Unlimited access, good connection.
If you are a tourist and if you are not about to sleep on a street - don't book this place! Bad. Dirty. Stinky. Bed is too cheap and too uncomfortable. Bedlinen is older than my grandma. I had 5 Korean guys in my room (I'm a girl). Shower has windows, which cannot possibly close (in winter!!!). Well, you cannot close the door in shower. Only curtain. My boyfriend also asks to add that the bed was too short for him (he's 1.93m). In mens' shower there is no light, there is only a side light from a toilet, which lights the room a little, and even then this light switches off automatically after 5 minutes! Pubic hair in shower, dirty dishes on a shelf for clean ones... aaaaarrrrrgh! Strange people around.... Guys, that's not the atmosphere of hostel. It's the atmosphere of a place for homeless people. Don't go there.
good location. the bathroom is acceptable.
noisy because of thin walls
There is no place where you can cook. Just microwaves and boiling water, but you can't make toast in the morning cause there is no toaster. Plus, the only shared room is the bar in the lobby and there is not much space and the workers of the hostel needs to do both lobby stuff and bar stuff so when its crowded you can wait a long time for the boiling water you asked to Cook your pastas in the package you bought cause there is not even somme bowl or ustensils you can use.
very cheap dorm bed price (5 eur per night), including everything except the keys for door and lock <10 eur for key deposit> provide many tourists' information in reception. the reception staffs are nice and helpful. they can speak English well.
not comfortable bathroom and toilet one of the toilet have no toilet paper there is only one bathroom for the whole floor. bathroom is dark and i don't know how to turn on the light the locker is too small for my backpack. the sleeping bed seem not clean enough, but it is acceptable for me and my friend
Excellent Internet, good location and friendly staff.
Old rooms, noisy bed and shower was not good. The bathrooms also were not cleaned.
Stayed there for 1 night, payed 5 EUR. What can you expect for this?! I think it's perfect for travelling students. Cafe with breakfast for 5 Eur 5 min away.
Everything is good, good location, good wifi signal good bed good staff good kitchen good price and i did come back again.
I really enjoyed the location of the Hostel, and that the staff were available at all hours of the night by knocking on the door of the front desk. The washroom was large, with three showers, and three toilets available. The hostel wasn't very clean and the rooms were a good size.
The bathroom floors were dirty as well as the rooms, and the walls next to our beds looked like they hadn't been washed in years. The beds were hard, and the heat was only turned on during the night.
excellent location, just 10 min walk from Karlovo namesti- the heart of Prague :) fully equipment kitchen, nice romos, free lockers in romos, -you even don´t need to put any coins, they give you the key, free deposit before check-in and after check-out (except the room you can use everything after check out- bathroom, kitchen (with free tea and coffe), computers with intenet or wifi, etc, and really nice and helpful staff, - strongly reccommended place, I will come back for sure, Magdalena, Poland/Spain
Very close to the dancing house, the river, a grocery store and metro/tram stations. Clean environment.
If you want to see the night view, the location will be recommand.
Dirty small room I slept the 2nd floor bed without guardrail far from the old town
two very helpful, friendly staff. one is a young blonde guy, another is moderate height, black hair with beard
everything except wifi and some staff. Don't stay here, trust me. It will ruin your mood and the travelling in such nice city. Don't make it as your pity of your trip.
Very close to the city center and any transport Cheap and clean Excellent WiFi connection
Only cash accepted Take 200 CZK as a deposit for keys
smelly in mixed room...
Cheap and delicious restaurants in the area. Cozy common room and spacious showers. Nice staff.
Noises in other rooms, and outside, echo into the rooms. I killed a total of 3 spiders.
-nice rooms -friendly staff -lockers
-not enough showers -not enough outlets -location is a bit far from the main train station
Low no of toilets
Location was good
I liked everything about Hostel Emma, from the sleeping comfort to the Showers, Kitchen.. everything.
