The hotel is generally well located, walking distance to the Prague Castle, and close to tram connections. The room was nothing special, but generally well-appointed. There are many better hotels in Prague, but if you get a good price (which was my case, I usually stay elsewhere) go for it. If you get a room facing the tram tracks, it will be generally noisy. It's manageable, especially if you keep the windows closed, but still a little bit of an issue. Breakfast was not much, no warm breakfast really.

Its position First, we booked - for a surcharge - a room looking at the Prague Castle. Well, the direction of windows was all right, but there was a large tree in front of the windows so that you couldn't see anything. So we changed rooms and were reassured by the receptionist we get our surcharge back (we also wanted a queen bed, not two single beds located head-to-foot). We'll see if the surcharge lands on our credit card account as promised. Second, we have booked another room (with full cancellation option, no fee) for friends who couldn't come at the end so we cancelled the room on October 8th. Today (October 16th) the money from the cancelled still hasn't been transferred to our credit card. Also, on booking there was an announcement that rooms will be paid on check-in but both were charged immediately to our credit card after booking. So that announcement wasn't true. The hotel is Russian-run so the main language in leaflets etc. is Russian.

The hotel is very close (~5 min walking) to the Prague Castle (one of the main attractions in Prague). In addition, in front of the hotel there is a tram stop that serves line 22 which is one of the most important in the city. Tickets for the tram are sold in the main desk of the hotel. In this manner, it is very easy to get around the city. There aren't many restaurant nearby the hotel unless you walk to the castle complex. If you're hungry and lazy to go far at night you can order a pizza by calling the main desk.I have absolutely no complain about this hotel and I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel was selected for night stop between flights. It is easy to take hotel from airport by public transport and leave it early in a morning. In the same time location of hotel allow to make a trip by Praha at once. Two days before arriving to the hotel I was additionally charged for 100.00 CZK and payment in hotel was 1 896.49 CZK. So together I paid 1996.49 CZK or near 80 EUR instead of proposed 75 EUR

Hotel with character. Right opposite a tram stop for easy access to city centre & castle. We found a 10% discount voucher on our bed in check in for a local restaurant (Pelko) which was excellent. Area felt very safe & we walked down into the centre on first evening. Some tourist leaflets in reception, and you can buy tram tickets at reception. This hotel had parking which was great for us. Breakfast wasn't great.

It was a perfect deal for me since it had covered parking, free breakfast and friendly, courteous staff. I wish the room has an air condition or at least an electric fan. The double room I got was on the street side so it was noisy especially when the windows are open. With the windows close, the noise is tolerable but in the summer with no ac or fan it can be hot in the room even at night.

It was very convenient for sightseeing but away from the crowds - just 10 mins walk to Prague Castle. Tram no. 22 stops right outside - the stop is Brusnice and a 3 day pass on public transport is good value. My room was very comfortable and breakfast plentiful - as serve yourself usually is!! Very quiet area if you have a room away from the main road. It was very humid during my stay and a little aircon would have helped. But it's an old building and the rooms are not expensive so maybe that's asking too much.

Very nice place to stay for a weekend in Prague. The locations is very good, only few minutes away from the main sights in the Prague's old town. I think I will book the room there again for my next trip to Prague.

I would say this is the best budget hoter that I ever stayed. The bed is very comfortable (my wife said much comfier than in our apartment :d ), room very clean, and spacious. The breakfast buffet is a surprise package, delicious and wide range. If you go to prague, stay at this hotel! I wouldnt say that the location of the hotel is bad, because the tram station is right in front of the hotel. It's about 20 min, to go to prague city centre. The best thing, the hotel even sells the tram ticket for the guest. The tram looks old, but riding it was quite an experience :)

Personnel was very helpful and nice, breakfast was very good with a wide range of dishes to choose. A private parking is an another advantage. In my opinion it is a great value for money. Hotel is situated near a really busy road and sometimes it was quite disturbing. But if you get a room with a view over the caste-that won't bother you
