Hotel Jeleni Dvur  

My Czech girlfriend and I paid 33 Euros per night with parking included for a weekend trip to Prague. This was excellent value for money and I think normally the hotel is more expensive but it is the best low budget hotel I've stayed in so far for a few reasons: The hotel staff were extremely friendly and someone was on reception at all times. The price was the cheapest we have paid in Prague so far. The hotel was the closest to the centre that we have stayed in so far (just round the corner starts the pretty streets that lead after 5 mins to the castle and then you can walk down to the old town over Charles Bridge). There is a tram stop right outside the hotel if you dont want to walk. We got free parking included which is secure and right behind the hotel. The breakfast was a nice buffet with a very good selection. The room looked very nice with wooden furniture and a comfy bed. Internet was via cable in the room, free and excellent speed. The bathroom was really new-looking with very clean shiny blue tiles and a nice-sized shower with hot water and a shower head that actually stays up. I have stayed in many hotels but this one was excellent. It ticked all the boxes and I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and English-speaking, the room was a little small but clean (particularly the bathroom, even if there was no shower curtain) and the view on the Petrin hill was perfect. Acceptable breakfast. Not far from the castle and the metro/tram stops.

No protections for mattress and pillows.

Very nice design of the rooms and hallways, very good food and nice location - just a 10 minute walk from the Prague castle. Well priced hotel - a very good price/quality ratio.

It would have been great if there were a minibar fridge in the room.

Lovely hotel in a good location. When booking, I asked for a room in upper floor with view onto the Lesser Town. When we arrived we were given a room facing a busy street but the receptionist swapped us for a lovely room with a great view to Lesser Town and Prague Castle. Breakfast was nice too, room very comfortable and the whole hotel was lovely and charming, Only a few minute walk from Strahov Abbey and Lesser Town. Great value.

The hotel is really clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the staff is ok.

The only problem is the location which is quite far away from the city center (more than 30 min walk is necessary) but it is very close from the castle. There is a tramway station just in front of the hotel which leads to the bank of the river in front of the city center.

The breakfast could have been better

It had good access to the tram and was open all night so you could come back late. The rooms were clean and the staff tried the best they could to order us a taxi when we needed one.

The hotel had spray paint all over the walls when we arrived so it didnt give a good first impression. The breakfast was awful and although served until 10am - when we arrived at 9:30 the hot food had gone cold and there was very little left. There was no tea and coffee facilty in the room and the hotel staff werent able to help us with directions anywhere as they spoke no English even though the hotel is advertised on an English website.
