Location value cleanliness friendly staff
Beds too hard
My stay in Hotel Melantrich was extremely pleasant. I enjoyed the hotel's location (in a proximity of all major sites, and the Old Town, and Charles Bridge, and millions of other charming corners of this incredible old town), the comfortable, spacious room, delicious breakfast and - last but not least - extremely friendly and flexible stuff at the reception. All in all, staying at Melantrich was a wonderful experience and i'd like to recommend this place to everyone who comes to Prague for a short visit to explore this true gem! I will certainly come back!
i basically liked everything :-)
For the price and location, everything except the matress.
The matress. To hard
- excellent localization! - WiFi - friendly staff
- No air conditioning (our windows were located towards west so after noon it was very hot inside) - No elevator - Poor breakfast
Breakfast good. Very central location and cleanliness.
No. lift in hotel
no air conditioning in rooms bo bar in hotel no dining room in hotel
Jaroslav is very helpful. He helped me booked for the tours. The room were i stayed was comfortable - noise free, comfortable. The location of the hotel is the highlight of all. It was close to everything - mustek station, wenceslaw square, old town, etc. I would definitely come back to this place again.
There was no refrigerator inside the room.
Staff was very helpful and breakfast every morning was plentiful.
Room and bathroom were small, but I was there for the city, not the room. I did not like the light outside the windows. It was difficult both to have the windows open for cool air at night and the drapes pulled to keep out the bight light
- Exellent location at the first place - Good price
- Noise from the street at night
Location Quite silent
Gorgeous room - huge and plenty of facilities. Great location.
A bit noisy at night but to be expected when in the centre of the town
The hotel is located perfectly for a city trip. The famous clock tower is just two minutes away. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are small but clean and the beds are comfortable.
Allot of noise in the room because of the neighbouring bar/dancing. So you hear some low-bass noises.
The staff where great! when saying I could not sleep because of the heat, the manager lady went to buy a new fan for my room! I booked for 3 nights - stayed 6 !
it was the heat at 37 degrees with no air-condition or fan that made it too hot too sleep sometime
Always available the staff was really nice. Calm, cumfortable and very clean, i totally recommend this hostel.
receptionlist room is very big
Nice and clean excellent location and good price.
Place was a bit dated everything seemed as though it was 20 years old.
Everything. From the very central location, to the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, the great breakfast buffet, the very good and fast Wifi (we were still connected to it while sitting in the Argentinian restaurant down the street!). Walking to the main square and Astronomical clock is a 4 minute walk, Mostek metro station is a 2 minute walk, Wenceslaw Square is a 3 minute walk, everything is close by with many restaurants, bars and shops. The room we had was big, comfortable, bright and great. A great stay and truly amazing value for money!
The only problems i would have is that there is no elevator to the hotelrooms and that the TV in the rooms is rather small. Other than that, nothing.
We liked the location of the hotel. Also guy at the reception was friendly.
Hotel has no elevator but its bot a big problem. Some curtains and bed sheets has holes on them. Hotel isnt the cleanest one. But we did not made these problem since the location us good.
Everything was top class
Staff were fantastic. So helpful and friendly and willing to go beyond the call of duty. Location amazing as central to all sights and eateries plus transport hubs. Room comfy and spotless. Breakfast was excellent ...buffet style. Good value for money.
Liked everything ....a great hotel
Location is in the middle of old town which is excellent. Breakfast was good considered the money we paid.
The room didn't have tea and coffee making facilities. Also, there was no refrigerator in the room. The TV was very old and small.
Lovely welcome. Room adequate, breakfasts astounding. Staff exceptionally helpful.
Central position in old city precludes parking. Very accommodating of our bicycles in their entry hall.
great breakfast buffet, nice fitting in rooms, calm,
Location was perfect to explore Prague. Also clean and comfortable hotel rooms as well as great breakfast buffet for the cheap price of the accomdaton
No fridge in the room which was a bit annoying, and the entrance to the hotel had a bad smell and not pleasant.
