Relatively conveniet location to the down town. The Hotel Meteor Plaza was selected as a place of our stay in Prague since it belongs to the reputable Best Western chain. However, I believe that old fashioned design and lack of luster damage the image of the honorable chain. The staff was not attentive and even sometimes unfriendly and arguing. They refused to provide me with bonus miles as I am a member of Miles&More program, forcing me to resister first as a member of the Best Western Rewards. In terms of the services they leave much to be desired: you have to look for a bell boy yourself if you need to get accompanied to the parking lot; receptionists will hardly stand up when they speak to the clients; the room was hardly cleaned, on the second day of our stay we found an empty bottle under the bed. The bed linen looked as it was not even changed. You will unlikely find a replacement of tea and sugar on the coffee table. The food at breakfast is disgusting. You will never guess what juice you have as it tastes as powder stirred in a pipe water. The other food is either tasteless like steamed eggplants and baking or horrible prepared like strange fried cabbage cutlet for breakfast. No isolation in the rooms, the noise coming from the neighboring rooms creates a feeling that you sleep in the corridor. It is definitely not worth the money you pay for accommodation and Best Western reputation. The Hotel leaves the overall impression that it is very tired of its customers. I would suggest to the Management of the Best Western Hotels chain to appraise attentively this particular Hotel

The bed is comfortable and made me felt aslept easily. I like the toilet and shower are separated into two rooms. There are many electronic sockets and makes appliance charging conveniently. At x'mas eve there is a Xmas cake , this surprised us! Their wifi is also free and signal is strong ! Staff especially those at breakfast cafe are indifferent to clients. They won't say hi or good morning . However a maiden at first floor finally said morning to us so that we know we are well greeted.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We paid for breakfast inclusive but only went into breakfast on the first morning because we found it to be of a lower standard than it was on our previous stays at this hotel. The service at breakfast was also lower than previously.

This hotel is very well located - 2 mins from Powder Tower and proved to be excellent value for money. The room was large, clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast as part of the price. I will certainly be staying here again and would recommend it to others visiting Prague.

Do not use the hotel's taxi service. It is a rip-off. It is roughly 5 to 6 times the rate for using a proper taxi. The same is probably true of their trips and restaurant reservations - which they are constantly trying to sell.

Proximity to the city center I reserved the parking when I booked the room, but when I arrvied I discovered that it was not available and they had not informed me by email. Anyway they took care of the car and it was parked in the street. The fitness center is not free.

Excellent location. Close to Old City/Town square. Front desk was helpful and the hotel offers street parking for 300 kr if available vs. the parking garage. Hotel furniture is dated and the room heaters were not adjustable without a tool.

The location was close to everything. The breakfast was good compared to Prague standard. The most negative thing about the hotel is that smoking is allowed. This meant that even though we didn't smoke we could at times smell smoke when we were in the room.
