Hotel Monica  

The room is comfortable and we have a garden view. Feel like in chalet. Breakfast is very good & friendly staff. This hotel is value for money. Good wifi connection.

The toilet is a bit out-dated and old. It is suitable for people with cars. The parking at the slope and near pool side is very tigh and narrow. Better park at the car parks infront of the hotel.

Comfortable bed and pillows. I must get one of these for home. :) Food was ok. Staff was very nice.

Nothing serious, only minor things: - There was a minor road noise from the highways (note that this is on a hill with line-of-sight for the highways from some rooms). It was tolerable March, but it could be heard more in summer, when sleeping with open windows. - The shower tub is small and the curtain is pulled inside by the hot air - it's a bit uncomfortable. - Walls are thin - would not be ideal for a romantic journey... - The interior is un-stylish, old (maybe early 90's :)

It was clean and the breakfast was perfect.

For the money I spent for renting a room I would expect newer forniture, I didnt like the smell of smoke from cigarettes that was in majority of the corridors (that made a first bad impression on me. On the other hand the room was smoke-free). Probably it is about the fact it is in Praha, and having this accomodation I would be perfectly sattisfied, but for a price at least 30% lower. But otherwise it was a nice hotel.

The hotel is charming and interesting! The room was very comfortable and cozy!! It was spacious and also offered a balcony. Inside the room was a large workdesk and table. The location of this hotel is ideal for travelers that are driving, it is very close to the highway/autobahn. The hotel offers a beautiful view of the city, as the hotel is high on a hill. The food was great! They provide a very good breakfast! Ultimately, the staff was friendly and very helpful! I will gladly stay in this hotel again if the opportunity arises. You cannot get a better deal anywhere else!

Very good, small hotel with friendly atmosphere

Breakfast is very poor like many Hotels in Prague

As a fact ,,first of all the coast of a night is fair , second the location is perfect .,and as I know this hotel originally is a big Vila and build on a top of high mountain in Prague.. I like the staff in this hotel they are very very nice people,, we like also the lady which make the pancake at morning ,,yes the hotel need some more modifications like change the earth carpet ,and put a big Air cycle to remove food cooking smell from the restaurant place ,,I hope next time when we go to this hotel we will find that all this changes are applied ..any way we stay 12 days in this hotel and its very nice time for as.. We finally send a big thanks to the staff there and wish to them all the best now and in the future.

We felt at home immediately. the atmosphere was so good. the personel spoke english. the room was very cozy and clean and the beds were very good. It was easy to go to the city center and back so its good for visiting Prague for a weekend. We liked the very good breakfast and we once had a lunch in the evening which was also very good. We will recomment this hotel to all our fiends and ofcourse to all who will visit Prague and want to feel at home in the evening.

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment and were very disappointed. It is in a forgotten corner of the hotel with the 2 nd bedroom actually being the kitchen. We complained to the manager who changed the room on the 3 rd day. We stayed in the hotel for 4 days. The second room was fine. There is no lift so not elderly friendly. My mother is 81 and found the stairs everywhere tiring. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good especially the freshly made crepes. The location is in a residential area so not much to do in the day. Overall a good experience once we were given the 2 nd room. They didn't charge for it which was nice.

Great and quiet location. Everything was very nice.

We enjoyed the beautiful views of Prague from the terrace. The staff was excellent. The owner even helped carry our bags to the car when we were checking out.The pool does not close. The bar had fair prices. There was Pilsener on tap. The breakfast crepes were delicious!

The room was on the smaller side but not a big deal since we were only in the room to sleep.

Warm atmosphere, nice view

Great location. On a hilly & calm residential area. One can find quite nice houses while walking around. Buffet breakfast consist of a sufficient variety of food. Plus tasty pancakes. What was missing - there were no vegetables. But this is due to general Czech aversion to them.;-) Hotel room are spacious & convenient. Hard and comfortable matresses are to be mentioned. Staff helpul and friendly. Although quite far form the city centre, the connection was convenient and easy - bus & underground. Good value for money.

Some really minor issues.

The breakfast was one of the most complete and excellent ones we had on our whole stay in Europe. the room and bath was very clean and comfortable but smallish. Secure free parking behind the hotel.

Far from the city center and a long walk up a still hill. A car is almost mandatory to stay here. The wifi never worked and the aging computer in the lobby was almost useless. No lights over it at night and refused to connect up to much of anything.
