Hotel Praha  

In comparison with the prices of the central located hotels this is a very good offer. We arrived 2 hours before check in and still got access to our room straight away. Beds were comfortable and the view from the balcony was really great. Toilette was separate from the spacious bathroom with bathtub and two sinks. We had two bikes with us and was allowed to place them in a locked luggage room during our stay. Friendly & German speaking staff was helpful.

The air condition didn't work and was also not fixed after we informed the reception. It was 30 degrees outside during the 2 days we stayed in Prague so our room reached 28,5 degrees! The design of the hotel and interior is a bit outdated. Had a bit "James Bond feeling" over it. We where not asked if we wanted any coffee during the breakfast, but instead had to wait to find someone from the staff to ask. Pool area not very cosy or inviting. Room clean except for dusty at places. Walk to nearest tram station is about 15 mins. To get to the city you need to change to the sub's after one stop and the the sub is an additional 3 stops. Feels more like a 4 star than a 5 star hotel.

breakfast was really good, problem with our booking (double bed instead of twins) we have been upgraded to a junior suit, the staff was really nice and every room has a beautiful view all over prague! parking free and secured room really nice

no wifi, only wire internet, not really fast tv was really bad

It wasn't downtown in a busy area and had a beautiful view.

When we asked the hotel staff for recommendations for restaurants in the area the front desk clerk only said "the centrum" but wasn't very friendly and gave mo suggestions or brochures.

The city view from the room balcony was amazing. Soviet era hotel but recently refurbished.

The hotel did not look as at the photos from booking.com.

Nice room

Some equipments in the room did not work, and the reception was not very helpful.

Very nice hotel with great view upon Prague and the Castle of Prague. We liked our room very much, because it was at the 5-th foor, with a nice desingn, very spatios and clean. The staff was realy helpfull and nice. We loveded our stay at Hotel Praha and would recomand it for a nice and relaxing weekend in Prague.

The internet connection dind't work in our room only at the reception!

The room, the view

The reception staff, for a 5* hotel, they need to be more polite and welcoming. We felt like we always bothered the girls at the reception. For the price we pay I think we deserve at least a smile once in a while

The standard of the room and view from the balcony was excellent.

The restaurant staff were very disappointing in their attention. The food was not up to 5 star standard. My steak would have been better utilized in the repair of the soles of my shoes. The wine list was a waste of paper with hardly any of the items available for consumption. The walk to the breakfast room made it feel it was the other side of Praugue. Hot food at breakfast should have been labeled " cold selection".

Fantastic rooms, very spacious with a view out over the St Vitus cathedral and Prague, good breakfast

Our air conditioning was broken, I went to reception to let them know, they sent the bellboy up to look at it, firstly he said it was working because air was coming out of the vents (warm room temperature) then decided yes it was broken and they couldnt do anything about it, so we got very little sleep here as it was close to 30degrees in the room with no air conditioning working

Restaurant have very limited options to order and not of 5 start standards, I ordered pizza from room service and it was delivered from a cheap external pizza delivery shop (cold & waste), swimming pool had chilled water and it was a waste of time to use it, sauna did not work. Air Conditioned in rooms were centrally switched off and even after asking many times, it was never switched on. Television in room did work after 4 days (minutes b4 my checkout), no tea/coffee maker in rooms. Interiors of Hotel lobby and common area is very dull and depressing because hotel management is not switching on lights and most of the areas remain in dark / low light.........Overall hotel is not at all providing any 5 star facilities.
