The gym was well equipped. Nice reception area and bar. Breakfast was good. Standard Room was big. We asked for a quiet room and got one at the back of the hotel so didn't hear any traffic. Air conditioning worked well. Free Wifi in the room worked very well. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is about 10 minutes stroll to Charles Bridge and near some very nice reasonably priced restaurants. Within a few mins walk of the hotel there is French, Italian (Carmelita), Thai (Noi) and Mexican (Cantina) restaurants. We tried them all except the French one and they were lovely especially the Mexican one. The hotel is away from the crowds of Charles Bridge and the Old Town but still within easy walking distance of all the sights. The tram (No. 22) to the Castle goes from very near the hotel. There is an atm immediatly outside the hotel door and a hairdressers and Thai Foot Massage place offering discounts to hotel guests. I would definetly stay in Hotel Roma again. The only thing I didn't like about Hotel Roma was that the shower was hand held in the bath and there was no shower screen or curtain so having a shower instead of a bath was very difficult and you couldn't help but get water all over the floor when trying to have a shower.

The location is very good. All main sights are easily available, most of them within walking distance. The hotel itself is nice, the rooms comfortable. I would have given a higher rating but my niece and I were put in a very small room the first night. The staff only told me that the hotel was full and that we will be given a standard room the next day. This was no excuse as I had already booked the room in April and I had asked for a confirmation only the week before our arrival?!!? Unacceptable for a four star hotel and a pity as this was the 3rd time I stayed in the hotel. The other 3 nights were fine.

Spacious rooms. Located in the city center - close to everything you might be interested in, though situated in a silent street. Tram stations are also close to the building. Free fast WiFi in all rooms. Our room was always clean and tidy - nice maid. No shower curtain, just a bathtub - too uncomfortable for me personally. Not very friendly managers, not willing to notice you, until you directly address, otherwise will pretend you don't exist nearby. Not smiling, won't hold the door etc. Poor breakfast - not much choice for a 4 star hotel; no service during it - staff won't take empty plates, they'll wait till you finish the meal. If this doesn't matter to you, I'd recommend the hotel.

The excellent combination of the price and location. 8 min walking to Charles bridge is real! Spacious room, excellent air conditioning, fine bathroom equipment. Polite and professional staff. Trams are right under the windows, although the glasspackets are rather thick and room was not too noisy. Uncomfortable furnishing: the chest of drawers is near the door out of bedroom, on the contrary the wardrobe for overclothes is in the bedroom. There is no suitable mirror for makeup! Boring breakfast, too poor choice of fresh vegetables, fuits and hot dishes. The staff is not smiling to guests...

The staff were extremely helpful with everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was the same every day, I would have preferred more of a variety of hot dishes.

Hotel staff extremelly friendly and supportive, excellent location (only a few blocks from Charles Bridge, just in front of the funicular to Petrin garden, really close to nice restaurants in Mala Strana and close to a nice shopping mall), wonderful facilities, excellent breakfast, spacious, nicely decorated and clean rooms, very good price on the daily rate. The only let down for me was the fact that the room walls are not fully or properly insulated, therefore not acoustically isolating the water pipes which set within them walls. Thus everytime somebody else in another upstairs room used their bathroom (sink, toilet or shower), the noise was as if it was raining inside my room. But that was a really minor issue, taking into account what you get in the package.

I liked undergraund parking and Thai foot massage. Location is perfect if you want sightseeing We didn't know about separation between smokers and non-smokers. As we are non-smokers it wasn't pleasent to live on the 3d floor

We thought the location was excellent - so near to the Old Town and also to Castle and Palace. We enjoyed the breakfast very much and the scrambled eggs were an unexpected surprise. We have recommended Hotel Roma to four friends who are planning to visit Prague in May 2012. Not sure we liked the cold floors in the bedroom. We much prefer a carpet, but understand this is the norm for Prague and in particular your hotels.

On business in Prague for three days this hotel was an excellent option. Free shuttle from airport and a very convenient location in the old city. Free wifi was excellent and breakfast was good. Great value. One down side was that from 7:30 am I had no peace in my room due to plumbing noises and furniture moving in the room above (I was in room 115). I am not sure if this is limited to my particular room location or not. I liked everything else so much I will return but will try another room. If I get the same results will most likely look elsewhere.

The location was excellent, the hotel staff were very helpful and the room was all we hoped for. The buffet breakfast was good though not different from the norm. A little dark in the rooms and some corridors.

Great location just a breath away from the Castle and Charles Bridge, the price was excellent and the breakfast was pretty nice too. Free shuttle bus is only for your arrival and not for your departure. This is kind of tricky because in their mail they reassured me that is free for both ways !!

Its location and the friendliness of staff. The rooms were a good size for two people especially as we were there for 2 weeks I mentioned the noisiness of the tiled floors and we suggested using felt under the chairs to prevent the scraping noise every time they were moved by us or people staying above us. Also there was often noise from the courtyard which disturbed our sleep. The weather was particularly good which meant people were outside for quite a long time in the evenings.

All services at Roma Hotel were of a high standard and the decor is modern and attractive. The location is convenient and within walking distance of main attractions, but away from the noisier areas. It is close to public transport and I would confidently recommend it as excellent value for money. The advertised shuttle bus service from the airport did not show up as scheduled at the designated location.
