We loved the hotel, the room, breakfast, free internet, location!!!, staff, everything.....
We didn't have anywhere to hang jackets, we could have used hooks in the entrance area.
Room was huge with nice king sized bed. Good location with tram stop out front. Also 2 minutes to funicular tram up to Petrin Tower. Many restaurants nearby. Room quite warm and cosy despite tiled floor and it being v cold outside. Staff helpful without being especially friendly. There was no smoke smell in the hotel!! Hooray! Breakfasts were quite good with lovely staff helping.
Shower was traditional hand shower without wall attachment - it was really difficult to wash your hair - and not much shelf space in bathroom. Decor and general fitout was a bit dated, but quite acceptable.
- Great location within walking distance of everything - Secure parking under hotel - Very quiet room - Good breakfast included
- Much pre-existing moisture damage in bathroom ceiling
Brilliant location - lots of good local restaurants and bars.
Water sounds in room from plumbing
The hotel is like an elaborate film set before the action. The fact that Italian always came up first when I switched on the TV.
This is a terrific mid range hotel in the best possible location. It's just a few minutes from Most Legii and within striking distance of the castle and The Charles Bridge. There's no restaurant open after breakfast and hence no room service but if you don't mind this, it's steal.
The decor is a little old fashioned and the breakfast buffet is significantly below par for a four star hotel but the excellent staff and generous sized rooms make up for that in my opinions. I'm usually in Prague for a long spell, ten to fourteen days and the Roma really is like a home from home.
Hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance to all places of interest. Hotel is lovely and staff are great.
Walking distance to all major attractions in Prague, comfortable garage under the hotel, beatiful aquarium in the lobby with a shark ;)
Breakfast only till 10 AM even in the weekends, basic breakfast.
A location is really good, room was nice and tidy
Breakfast was really poor for 4* hotel! On my point of view, if you have a check-out at 12 o'clock, then cleaners shouldn't come before that in your room! And small other things!
Location good. Quiet area but only a short distance to some of the sights. Hotel clean and modern.
Hotel a little noisey at night and early morning due to tiled floors. Poor tea/coffee facilities.
Ideal location with access to restaurants and pubs and transport. Nice and clean, large rooms.
The two-bedroom appartment actually is two bedrooms and one bathroom so there is no point in taking an appartment. Take two bedrooms for more comfort. Parking is way too expensive.
Great location in lesser town, surrounded by bars and restaurants. 15 min walk across Charles bridge into old town and new town. Book taxis to and from airport 24hrs in advance via the hotel for a better rate. Rooms very spacious and comfy with kettle, mini bar and decent size bathroom.
The only negative point I have is the shower head isn't attatched to the wall high enough so you have to hold it up to have a decent shower but our room had a bath too.
The front desk especially Adam I would say one of the best stays I ever had So cooperative helping & going out of the way to help I have stayed at 100s of hotel but such front desk service is hard to find I would stay here every time I visit Prague Total value for money Breakfast was very good Location is excellent
Nothing to complain
Location at the Mala Strana side, which is much silent place than Stare Mesto. All the sights are in walking distance. The hotel is nice, rooms are ok size and clean. Breakfast buffet was nice, except coffee.
Coffee was not so good that was served in the breakfast.
Great location. I was there for a wedding on Petrin Hill so it was ideally placed for access and with the tram line just outside to take you into the city, it couldn't be better. Breakfast was also nice.
You had to pay for the sauna which i thought was a little cheeky as this is not a cheap hotel. The gym was well equipped but in a dark (no natural light) room that was never occupied when i went in.
Location Breakfast (huge choice) Staff (friendly and welcoming)
not very soundproof (but we didn't wake up in the night) two single bed put together so there was a small gap in between our room had tiled floor (cold when getting out of bed)
Durning breakfast if you are still in your room you can hear people's chairs pushing across the floor. From 7:00-10:00
Good location in the inner city, very friendly staff, clean bathroom, nice garage to park your car while sight seeing.
Room smelled like a smokers room (maybe something with the booking went wrong... but the problem could also have been with Booking.com); at first the receptionist wanted to charge us extra for the garage place although we booked it in advance via Booking.com (could also have been a problem with Booking.com), but after a little talk they didn't charge us for that.
Was close to Prague center, public transportation around corner. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, extensive breakfast buffet. I had free parking in hotel garage, which was a determining factor to book there. Comfortable beds, bathtub in bathroom, not just a shower, and very quiet for being on a busy street. Several nice restaurants close by. Already recommended it to a friend in Germany.
Have to organise water in fitnes room
the hotel is in a good location and easily accessible to everything via tram.
The hotel overcharged me, was not able to refund the money at the time of my stay, and has taken more than 3 weeks to get in contact with me regarding the refund.
On the Booking website we saw fantastic pictures of elegant rooms. We paid what the hotel requested but what we got - a sloping ceiling on which we continually hit our heads because we are not used to it - did not match what we had seen.
Clean, hotel with good facilities and WiFi. Close to park and castle, ten minutes from city centre. Friendly staff.
No tissues or milks in room, even after asking several times. Breakfast room was too small and only a small range of options was provided. No information booklet in room. Shark in tank might look swell, but not so good for the shark.
Very rude service, the worst you can get in Czech Not possible to get a toothbrush in the hotel... Poor quality breakfast. Why would you choose a city-center is you even cannot get fresh bread for breakfast and low quality food ?
Good location Friendly staff Confortable rooms
Too much noice from other rooms
