The hotel was very quiet, comfortable and relaxing. All the hotel staff were pleasant, with the hotel receptionists being particulary helpful at all times. Restaurant food also high quality. |

My son and I stayed at the hotel for three nights in July 09 in order to have a convenient base whilst visiting the Uni and looking for long term rented accomodation for his forthcoming studies in the 2nd Faculty of Charles University in Hradec Kralove. For this purpose the hotel is really ideal; based directly on the smaller of the two quares in Hradec Kralove its location is attractive and perfect for getting about the whole of the town which only takes a 20-30 min walk in any direction. We had a twin room to the rear of the hotel. Our stay coincided with the beginning of two months holiday; as such the hotel was very very quiet. Very pleasant reception staff with varying levels of English helped us a lot informationwise. The local vacinity was very quiet and we were at the back of the hotel in room 210 so away from the direct sun; but the room was still very hot and needed both windows left open all night. If you were on the sun side I should imagine it could become unbearable without any air conditioning. Breakfast was okay; always in too much of a hurry for anything to be cooked. We ate in the restaurant one night; didn't like the depressingly dark dining room but the pasta dishes were excellent, huge and very good value. No time to try leisure facilities. Would like to write much more both good and bad but this review facility is too restrictive in characters. Good: personal safe in room deposit: 200KC, also free internet, with connection in room. |

I liked reception girls job. They exelent informing clients. Clean everywhere and indide rooms, very tasty food. Very very hot in rooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Une grande chambre avec une vue correcte Un accueil un peu froid, une chambre triste manquant d'entretien (rideaux décrochés et ne couvrant pas la totalité de la fenêtre, appui de celle-ci rongé par l'eau, coups sur les murs, moquettes très tâchée, eau de la piscine douteuse, spa hors de fonctionnement...) et une tentative d'arnaque sur le taux de change qui mettait la chambre à 150 euros contre un prix déjà élévé, au vu de la qualité de l'hôtel, de 130 euros ! |
