The hotel has a very good location: only a 10-minute walk from the city center and very close to transport facilities (the tram station is exactly near the hotel) and the metro station is 2-tram stops away. The interior design of the hotel is very pleasant and reminds of the old noble mansions. The room is quite big and spacious as well as the bathroom. The food was to our taste (eggs, sausages, various types of bread, cheese, ham, salads, fruit, croissants) but "extreme" coffee drinkers (like myself) might find coffee weak - but this is just a minor aspect. The overall atmosphere is pleasant and a big plus for the hotel is the fact that breakfast is served until 10 a.m. (so late-sleepers may enjoy a longer sleep). In conclusion, if you plan a city break or just a trip to Prague, you should consider this hotel. Note: If you go by car (like we did), the hotel recommends a car park which is 200 m away. However, you can park your car in the "park and ride" areas which are usually close to the city exits but more importantly they are exactly near the metro stations and are somewhat cheaper (e.g. we paid 620 Kz (approx. 25 EUR) for 5 days of parking). (the only disadvantage in this case is that the person in charge of the parking lot does not speak English at all, but seems to be quite good at "sign language"). It might be a problem if you have a room facing the main street with the tramways because of the noise (we had a room facing the other street without tramways at the groundfloor and there wasn't so much noise). But, after a day of sightseeing, I can assure you that you won't hear a thing. Also, if you are too sensitive to noise, do not accept a room at the groundfloor (there are only 2 rooms) because they are quite close to the main doors which although are automatic they produce a squeaking noise every time they open and close. Nonetheless, this is just a minor aspect and can be avoided.

The Hotel is ideal for short trips. The room was very comfortable for a middle-aged couple. The breakfast is good, but the quaility of the coffee is a bit poor. The staff is kind, helpful and can speak English. The location is perfect, you can reach the inner city in 5 minutes by tram or not more than 20 minutes walking. The price is really inline with the comfort and services. We really recommend the Hotel for medium budget travellers.

It was very well located in the center ot town. It is a lovely old hotel and we loved the atmosphere as well as the decor. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms are very good value for money. The staff were helpful and friendly and we hope to come back again. Prague was wonderful and we loved staying at the hotel.

The personal is very friendly , the girls on reception do their best. The position of the hotel is excellant Poor cleaning of the rooms, the rooms are very different and on the same price you can get a nice roon or a very small room. Perhaps there sould be some difference in the price of so different rooms.

We liked one nice woman which works at the kitchen and after breakfast she cleans every day. She was very polite. She helped us very much. She speaks well Russian; - wonderful breakfast; good and comfortable place for visting the most interesting places in Prague; -the cheap parking (7eu) per night (near Hotel Sokol) -It was unpleasant to see the angry and not polite House-keeping. By the way they were Russian one; - dirty in room; very noisy room cause of very-very old windows...

The location is fantastic, away from the hustle bustle of Old Town but within easy walking distance. Staff are helpful and the breakfast was good with lots of choice in nice surroundings. Good sized room with plenty of space. The bed. It was two singles pushed together with single quilts on (supposed to be a double room) and the matress was incredibly hard and uncomfortable and you had one (flat) pillow. May be ok if you like a very firm matress.

Great Location Our room was very big Very Clean Very nice places to grab something to either eat or drink close to the hotel 1)I specifically asked for a double room and I got two single beds one next to each other covered with one sheet. Moreover, we had two single duvets! 2) 20 euros for a hair-dryer????? I might as well buy one. 3) The croissants were overcooked each morning

Very clean and practical. The superb location. Good coffee and nice pickles/salads for breakfast. I would say it is not your typical chain hotel and has a charm! Room 406 were we stayed was nice and big however there was some sort of noises going on from electrical box attached to wall near the door. We worked out how to stop it (my clever partner) but I would recommend strongly to fix it.

Ideal location in the heart of historic Prague. Free wifi and generous breakfasts along with a well furnished room and good bathroom. Pillows were a little soft and the sockets weren't that accessible.
